the joint size is 14mm, the inline stem has 7 holes in it, defusing the smoke, and making it hit real good.

i had a great day yesterday. getting the pipe and breaking her in!

Hi all, Thanks for the warm welcome, and sound advise . . .

Looks as if I am going to be air conditioner shopping this week.

Hold your fire I'm sorry to hear that brother, thieves never consider the time it takes, that is the "sweat equity" it takes to build a gorilla grow.

KarmasWheele thanks . . . I agree that looks like some amazingly dank nuggets . . . and excellent photography as the buds glisten on the screen.

This is my 2010 outdoor operation, it is a series of 5 separate, but interconnected clearings/gardens. I will start with the good pictures, and then illustrate an emergency stalk issue I experienced (with my largest plant) and the solution. Thanks again and much respect to Ganga D, who was kind enough to help my panicked soul with timely advice.

Gardens #2 and #5 are unremarkable, 2 consisting of four undersized bubblegum females and 5 has a scattering of early misty plants that have been retard by animals (deer and/or rabbits).

Garden #4 is my favorite, although not the most prolific. A series of bushes created from a single seed found within a half oz of what was sold to me as "California Diesel". From what I have read I think it is probably alpha diesel. It has an excellent pungent grapefruit aroma, lots of tric development, has proven my easiest strain to clone, responds well to FIM trimming and has prolific stretch and good yield. I am eager to see what she can do outside. These bushes are the third generation down from that single seed.

Garden #3 is the largest is stature of the plants, I apologize for only having pictures of the "patient" As soon as i saw that my single largest plant's stalk had broken and she was almost laying on the ground I had to focus my attention on nursing her back.
This is a pic for perspective, prior to her collapse. That's the back of my 5'9 head in the lower left of the frame.

I will post the patient and repair pics in the next few days.

Somehow the pictures I tried uploading only came through as links to my album, I'm not sure what I did wrong, but if any knows how I could fix this I would be happy to.

Garden #3 is the largest is stature of the plants, consisting of seven large (between 6-12 feet) Christmas tree shaped plants a mix of Ice and White Rhino, as well as three smaller bubblegum plants that went out late replacing culled males. I apologize for only having pictures of the "patient". As soon as i saw that my single largest plant's stalk had broken and she was almost laying on the ground I had to focus my attention on nursing her back.

And this is how I found her after a rain & wind storm a few days ago . . .

I am aware that the tie down was placed way to low and that this was in large part my fault, I am making a fair amount of mistakes along the way . . . but I am learning. One lesson learned is that next year I am going to trim and LST everything into bushes, they are so much more manageable and low profile comparatively . . . and more wind resistant! Thanks to some timely help from Ganga-D, I hope she will not only be salvaged but will thrive into full flower. I will be documenting the repair within the next few days, hopefully it can help save someone else's prized plant. I will also post pics of the other larger "Christmas trees" if anyone is interested.

looking very nice I love the outdoor bushes........About your bag seed diesel.........from the description it sounds more like nycd which is soma's version of ecsd.........In my experience with Alpha Diesel and ecsd and nycd......both the alpha and ecsd have a more sour chemmy smell to them while the nycd has a pheno that smells like grapefruit candy......oh how I miss her........

Hi all,
Thanks for the kind words of encouragement, it should not be too much longer now. Another lesson I learned that I am going to utilize next year is to use clones to make up the gorilla grow. Not only do they have the advantage of being certain females of favored strains/pheno types but also seem to be quickest into flower as they have the older parents genetic make up. I had planted several earlier finishing strains from seed (early misty, ect) yet my clone army has well surpassed them and will be ready seemingly weeks before the "early" strains.

KW, thanks for the identification advise, in any other situation I would be inclined to take your advice as gospel . . . except I do have a Soma NYCD mother, growing inside, side by side, with the "unnamed diesel". I agree the grapefruit taste is much sweeter with NYCD, and more pungent and dank grapefruit with the unnamed, I think it also has a heavier (more overpowering) high. The biggest visible differences are in the rate of growth, especially going into flower. The unnamed just takes off like a rocket and streaches like no other I have ever seen . . . although I don't have as much experience as some of you guys here.

Thank for the advice . . . I don't have the necessary number of posts for PM but when I do feel free to hit me up. As long as it's safe and anonymous I don't mind helping.

P.S. The repair pictures are still coming, I apologize nut there are only certain times of day I feel comfortable venturing out into my gardens and I don't want to be seen or do anything to jeopardize security.

P.P.S. Anyone else going to see Slash tomorrow night? Or am I the last G n' R geek left, the last of a dying breed!!!
