CAT HOLY PRAYER

The peace and joy you give me, no words can ever tell,
The lessons that you teach me, in my heart will always dwell,
Your purrs bring forth divinity, to comfort, heal and bless,
Wondrous being, praise to you for your gracious loveliness.

So sorry for your loss.
Our pets become so special to us and losing them can at times be very painful.
Like others have mentioned, their spirits stay with us forver.
You should feel proud that you cared so deeply for your furry friends and it was returned.
What a brave move to go out a get another one.
Male or female?
Such big inquisitive eyes.
What a cutie pie.:cathug:

Thanks for all the kind words everyone they are greatly appreciated. It has been a little less than five weeks since the passing of my last cat,and I am thinking it is time to start looking for a new addition. The loss of companionship hurts the most.Wish me luck on my quest, and I will post pics if/when I find one who wants me.:):)

Sorry for your loss bobcat. I just lost my kitten a few weeks ago :( I know it can hurt.

Good move on getting another cat though, as I see getting another will only help you feel better. Although they won't be able to replace the lost one.

I got a kitten this weekend from the humane society and he is pretty sick. Coughing and sneezing. Sounds like the christina aguilara monster. We got him some meds so he is doing ok now.

Hope you feel better :tiphat:

 That is just a funny pic I wanted to Post so maybe Bobcat & others would get a laugh as I'm very please Bobcat has a new friend who can make Bobcat start healing and feeling better as no one wants to feel the blues all the time and as long as his feline friends are always remembered they will never lose sight and stay close to his heart.

Damn, I had no idea so many stoners were cat people! That's awesome. I have two myself.

That was some pretty deep shit. I'm on the same boat with ya on that. I had to put my siamese down just a couple months ago, and boy did that hit us like a ton of bricks! He was at least ten years old, and was battling diabetes for the last four, not to mention he had arthritis in the legs that made him walk funny. Still, with all the pain and suffering he went through, he was probably the most loving cat I ever had. We spent a fortune in vet bills that would make your head spin, but, he was like a family member to us. When you say 'magical', you were dead on! Cats are completely different creatures than dogs. They think differently, and independantly. The only way to better explain it, is to experience living with one.

There's a reason ancient Egyptians worshipped our little feline friends....they are truly divine.

I love these babies like I love my unborn Son. We already have children....five of them are furry, two have scales. Our Son is just the first "human" joining the family;) Cats are wonderful.

Yep, first baby:) We didn't plan on children, a welcome suprise...but we were pretty content with our animals. We still plan on rescuing as many as we can in the future. Four out of our five boys are rescues....I love my reptiles, but I'm pretty particular to kitty cats:cathug:

mine love to play (as do most cats) with me but they get really wired up when they know I've just toked. I get down on the floor with them & play a long time...but after I've smoked, they begin looking at me differently, get more affectionate & silly and won't leave me alone. They can sense my vibes really better than the dogs I've had. Anybody who has never had any cats....I do highly recommend them. I'm never ever bored.

Kitteh no. 1 and Kitteh no. 3 always come around when we're smoking. Kitteh no. 1 likes large clouds of smoke blown in her face and will stick her face in the bowl. She especially likes hash b/c it stays lit and she can breathe the smoke in. Really, I'm not kidding or exaggerating. Kitteh no. 3 doesn't like big clouds, but loves pot. He is also the kitteh that loves catnip the most.

Congratulations to you Miss Blunted. Youi sound very excited about this and from the look of your furry friends, I have no doubt you will make a wonderful mom.

I love it when cats curl up and do the "dinner plate" thing. :)
Yes I also love when cats do that dinner plate thing. They look so peaceful and content. It makes ya wanna go over and curl up right beside them, especially when they are basting in the warm sunlight.
Cats are very intuitive, affection animals with the freedom of independence, which dogs greatly lack. The only thing I am not too fond of that my cat does, is bring home dead animals as an offering to me.
I suppose it has sentimental value to the cat since it is done through admiration and respect, but still; some of these offerings are enough to turn my stomach.
