Need Some Bong Info From Bong Pros

So harvest is coming up and it's time for a new bong. I don't consider myself a bong pro , i've owned a few glass on glass, had a roor (suck), g spot (really sucked), but in no way am I am bong pro. Lately, I've been seeing these highly percolated bongs some even have upwards of 8 percolators, i am interested in a certain piece i won't say the name or link so they won't delete my thread for "advertising" since i am inquiring not selling a bong... it but ill show the pix since there is no brand label on it....

(here's the ash catcher, I blanked out the logo so I won't be banned for advertising, I am going to be able to order it without the logo anyway, just a good shot of the 8 percs in the ashcatcher)

I am interested in this piece for many reasons. 1# being that it has 8 percolators as you can see, 2# being the maker of the bong has a matching ash catcher with 8 perc's as well, which brings the total to 16x percolators (WOW) so i am pretty sure this one will give me a good smoke. I also like how it is a foot tall (well 14" close enough) and i won't have to use 2 lung fulls to fill it and clear it....Also the glass is 9mm thick which is thicker than the thickest roor....No brand logo either.

I really like all the percs. Can anyone recommend another piece to me that might have more ? Or tell me about the percs and diffusers and what exactly they do besides look cool? I saw one in hollywood that had somewhere around 500 percs but it was 3-4 feet tall and over 1000$....

first how do you not like roor??
me personally i find the more "complicated" a piece is the harder to clean
when i get the cool looking ones with different chambers and diffusers it always takes longer to clean than my straight glass on glass roors.. and i am OCD with cleaning it. i hate hitting dirty pieces i clean my piece every 2 days or so. iso and salt, if you keep on top of it, its easy to clean

the percs/difusers basically cool the air down, but the more contact the smoke has with glass the more resin is left behind. get a piece you think you will have trouble clearing a full bowl. thats my motto, then conquer it.

Nice piece, what the perc's do is divide the smoke into much smaller and many more bubbles. this increases the surface area of the smoke allowing it to cool and decontaminate it better. most of them ive hit hit are very smooth, as in there is one continuous pull even when the slider is removed, no need to pull real hard to clear. looks like a winner especially if you get that ash catcher, less someone points you to another. make sure you have 420 cleaner or alcohol & salt as there is no scraping clean a perc.

i would just get a roor beakr bottom and a diffusor..but u said u dont like roor...

this is why you shouldn't get the HVY in the picture, or the A/C. sure, 9mm glass is nice, but it's not worth anything if trying to get air through the percs is like sucking peanut butter through a straw. poorly constructed percs flow like shit, and you're not going to get a well constructed perc, or even a well constructed bong, from companies that advertise low prices. too many people dismiss brands like RooR or Toro as overpriced, when the reality is that you get exactly what you pay for, and the difference is incredible. on top of that, there are things like the quality of the glass used, the attention to detail, and the quality control used by that company to consider, and that bong was not taken care of like a RooR prior to going up for sale. that i can promise you
not to mention the angle of that A/C is going to make it splash over like a motherfucker, which means you're going to be changing the water after every hit.

ive smoked out of roors and it hit no different than the 100 dollar 1 footer i got that was glass on glass identical to a roor without the logo for 200$ less

i end up breaking them all anyway, im just gonna get a 100$ pack of raw rolling papers, 12,000 joints should take a while to smoke

dude i bought a cool rug that turns out is like a prayer rug and i totally karate kicked my bong onto it and it was fine. But then the moral decision of whether to sincerely clean the carpet and was God to thank for the bong not breaking.

dude i bought a cool rug that turns out is like a prayer rug and i totally karate kicked my bong onto it and it was fine. But then the moral decision of whether to sincerely clean the carpet and was God to thank for the bong not breaking.

this happens to me everytime i watch karate kid.. thank allah for his prayer rug that i stand on every morning to blaze

straight tubes are a far cry from tree percs. if you want a perc with a good hit, you're going to have to have deep pockets
