800 Watts - 5 Strains = 1 lb

I've noticed that generally the experienced growers who use lower wattage lights (150, 250, 400) get higher GPW than most larger growers with 1k's. The only other grower on here that I've seen pull similar numbers is VG getting over 4 oz. from 75w (1/4 of a 250w hps). I believe it's possible, but I see why you might hesitate to post them. No way to prove it, and plenty of nay-sayers. Frustrating indeed.

Exactly the reason y I didnt even want to bother posting the wait. Look at the comments already. But its all good. Mine not theres Also to the gpw on smaller lights. Ive used 1k's 6's & 4's. my best results were with 2 400's. I cant even fig it out my self cause i can put my plants just as close with the 1ks as i do with the 4's with the right ventalation. be careful with partners man. in my experience most people are greedy, its a lot harder than you think to find an honest business partner. 20 stacks saved up, try to do it on you own it is way more simple, and dont bite off more than you can chew in the beginning. Good luck man

Thnx for the advice Maijah. Its just hard right now cause im not sure how to go about all the legallites and what to do first. I mean - do I just go lease out a building and setup my grow and advertise for customers(since I dont know anyone here) and then sit back and wait? Just not sure how to go about it all and been searching and reading everywhere and Im not finding anything on it. I was thinking of trying to lease a 3 story building for 3 story I could live in and 2nd story could be grow n 1st story dispensary. Just not sure bout the whole business ends. If you are in colorado then you can not setup a grow. You were suppose to have your paperwork in by July 1st. all you can do is be a care giver for 5 people. You missed the bus to setup a large grow. You will now have to wait until july 1 2011. That is if they do not extend the deadline. Which they probably will. However in 2012 it will go to vote to straight out legalize it. So worse case you just wait until then. Also There are already quite a few court cases going due to the application process, and what not so maybe some of those will conclude within the next year. If you did not submit your paperwork for your grow by July 1st then you need to just keep doing what you are doing, and if you did not sign paperwork with a dispensary saying that you are one of their suppliers Or if you are not a caregiver then actually what you are doing is illegal. That is my dime - 8 pennies.


I just reread your post and saw that you wanted to open a dispensary as well. That paperwork would have had to be in by July 1st as well. No Marijuana related businesses can be opened as of July 1st 2010. The next available time that one could open in the state of Colorado is July 1st 2011. Also 20 grand would barely cover the licensing fees for a dispensary, and a grow. That would not even include setting up the grow, or dispensary. 20 grand would not be enough even if it were before July 1st. Also if you are a dispensary in Colorado today was the deadline to prove that you are growing %70 of your own product.

Hey organicozark. thnx for the good info. Right now currently I applied and sent out all my paperwork to the registry aug 2 so I can be legal on mmj. They said it could take up to a year for my card. So are you telling me I cant even grow for myself without other paperwork. Cause I did sign on my paperwork "self" for caregiver. Also my goal was just to be a small time caregiver just to pay for living expenses cause my ssi aint cuttin it out here. I literally spent over 15,000 to move out here to get legal and get into the business and now im greatly discourged. wow. So basically Do you know if I am allowed to even grow for myself? I am signed as self for caregiver on my paperwork. Also how am I supposed to know my plant count cause my doc never wrote it on the paperwork? Or do they give it to you on a follow up visit? Also my doctor was through the doctor connection which i am now concerned about cause I hear about doctors getting in trouble? Also if I want to be a caregiver for a couple patients is it as simple as finding anyone to sign ya off as there caregiver? Im not big on going out and meeting people so I maybe screwed there or do I just wait till I get some of my own product out and let patients try freebies? also on the dispensary and grow note. i wanted to rent out a warehouse with dispense shop attached. I have all equipment for grow and 90% of furnishings for a shop as well. I was just mentioning I have around 20,000 for investing into building, liscenses, ect. - all supplies I already have. Which are now useless in the state of colorado according to what you just told me. Oh well. back to the east and stayin put if this dont work out. I really like it out here to

You can grow 6 plants for yourself, and you can also grow for 5 other people. So that would be a total of 36 plants. You are totallly shutout of a dispensary, and or wharehouse. Now if you can get some patients with higher plant count then you would be kind of good. The thing is that if you had a visit then they can take the extra over the 36 plants. Now maybe you win in court, and maybe you don't, but it would be a pain in the ass either way. Honestly the best thing to do is stay off of the radar, and keep doing what you are doing for a year or so, and hit up some local dispensaries and try to sign a contract with them to be a provider for them. Then theoreticaly you could cover x amount of their patients and then your plant count would be able to be higher. Although you would legaly have to have the paperwork for the patients that you are covering on premisies or again you could get taken down to 36 plants. hoenstly at this point without a good attorney you are not in a good position. With a good attorney you can get your shit in order and get a high plant count by getting some contracts together. This would still not be %100 but it would be better than what you are doing now. You would have to keep the grow in your house. Now that i think about it though I don't think that will owrk either because as a grower you would have had to apply for your license by July 1st just like everyone else, and you did not do that. Well I Probably just confused the shit out of you, but I do know that you can get 5 patients and do the 36 plants, and technicaly if they have higher plant count then you could cover that as well. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

To sum all of this up. I would spend a g or so on advice from an attorney and run it by them so that you don't waste the rest of your money.

Ok. I think I get everything. So your saying I cant even grow my own 6 plants for medicine because I had to apply for a growers liscence? Or is that only if im caring 5 patients? I was told by a couple dispensaries I should have gotten a plant count from the doctor but it was not writtin on my paperwork. But if I care for 5 patients that is plenty for me. But basically for now am I legal to grow 6 plants or no cause of me not applying for a liscence. I was told by 1 local dispensary ive been going to that I could grow my 6 as long as I put self down for caregiver and I did.
