Guess-timating. Pre-flowers aren't fully mature and going crazy yet, never mind flowering. Hopefully by early sept. she starts. I hope to move them by mid- sept. build a make-shift greenhouse, sink the pots in the ground. Do what I have to, I love this girl! :D

looking good HL and crew!

HL, the sheldon black piece just came w/ an 18mm "stock" bowl.
i do have a 18>14mm reducer, but it's long and crashes into the perc in the new SB piece.
so i havent been able to blow oil thru her just yet.
gotta go shopping again i assume, being all my bent bells and Ti rigs are 14mm.

You know, sometimes we have a real late frost around this way and big plants are wet and blowin' in the wind 2nd week of November...ya' gotta love that when the suns real low and dark and bud's still on the branches.:) Still, Larry's the queen of the summer, throw in some haze and you'll pull through!!

That Larry looks encrusted.

Last yr. we had a late frost, I can only hope!

'Alphi' should be done early/mid oct.
Trussed them both up today w/ trellis netting. Got about a dozen bamboo stakes in ea. pot, along w/ the netting, should hold em firm, help keep heavy branches from breaking.

Maybe not as slick as the Hortonova the big boys use, but should do the trick til I can get em under plastic.
Anyone who hasn't seen the "Big plants, outdoors" thread in the Tom Hill forum, should really check em out! ;)

CF I'm too much of a pussy for 18mm

Blustery weather yesterday kept knocking my pots over, had to stake em in place.
Kinda weather makes me want to wet some beans for indoor, but I gotta wait a month, too much prep 1st, and we all know ya can't skip the corners. :mopper:
