Do buds gain much weight after 100% amber?

Just curious and sry if this is widely known knowledge. It seems like my buds put on so much weight in the last two weeks before i pick(50/50 trics). I really dont smoke much anymore so potency/effect isnt a huge concern for me. Weight is though. Say i push back harvest another three weeks. How much more weight could i add if i stick to the same nute schedule?

i tend to grow my plants bushy. then i harvest the top 1/3, wait 7-10 days then harvest the rest. the lower branches don't grow much but they do put on weight

After 100% amber....in my opinion, no. In my experience, by that point... they've gotten where they're going.

so your saying that you dont care if the product works well as long as you can make afew extra bucks? you do relize that by pushing them that far past affects the quality. how about grow the best and chage more.or grow more hell start another op. just please dont be an ass like some and turn out shit for an exra qt sack best of luck to you and your garden

Ass? More like having business sense. If they dont want it they dont have to buy it. because i guarantee you someone will dude. So youre saying the people of the Miller Brewing company are all asses because they produce such a shit beer like milwaukees best? I mean they are certainly capable of producing better beer. Whats the difference? Enlighten me? I know alot of you guys on here have trouble thinking for yourselves and youre all about taking whatever the collective stance is of the board on something. I get that, but this whole its your duty to produce the best bud you can so youll have good karma bs i aint buying. My kids like to eat man and they probably want to go to college. So no hard feelings but i dont see any problem with cutting a few corners to earn an extra buck doing this even if that means my product isnt the best it can be. Because let me tell you something.. ive grown some shit weed in my day but it never didnt get smoked or sold.

Incredible.
100% amber =0% THC, the reason we smoke in the first place.
Why in the world would you allow 100% of your THC to degrade?
And you don't even care about the quality, as long as you can make a buck?
No wonder you are clueless about the herb you are growing.

and if the weed aint good why would people want to come back unless they want a totaly couch lock high.....man try to do it correct or just dont do it....think about it this way what if you got some bud that was totaly killer looking and barley got you high.....

Could you document this for us? I've always understood that there is more CBD/CBN in amber trichs, but there should still be plenty of THC as well.

Done some googling and I really can't find anything to support the notion that there is zero THC in amber trichs.

dude obviously i dont want to grow crap weed because no one will buy it. im saying that i have no problem having major couch lock buds if i can add significant weight in return. that was the original question. i know the weed will be couch lock but how much weight can i add if i leave it 2-3 weeks longer and will it still be decent shit? i think its a legit question. am i really such a bad guy for wondering?

I will guarantee you there is still plenty of THC in the trichromes when they turn amber...

like Mr bong said there is some higher levels of cbd and cbn but there is also still thc...and the levels of those cannabinoids are dependant upon strain and growing conditions.

one example being harvesting most or all trichs turn amber vs. harvesting when trichs are "immature" or all clear...id think in that case there would be MORE thc vs. cbn/cbn in the immature trichs but in both examples i dont think there is ever going to be a certain 100% dominant cannabinoid

and to be honest with you I enjoy my cbn/cbd, when i smoke buds that have been harvested at the correct time(milky/amber trichs)it helps me sleep, acts as a great painkiller and gives me a nice relaxed stone....plants that ive smoked that are cut early(clear/some milky) always are racing highs with some paranoia or anxiety involved even when it is an indica...

if people were worried about making a buck they would cut before the trichs turn amber....which many people DO and that is usually the stuff you smoke joint after joint and you feel no affect...because it wasnt grown to its potential, around here we call it BAMMER

the couchlock type of high you are descibing also depends on the strain btw, pure sativa shouldnt couchlock you even if all trichs are amber

thats just my input from what ive learned over the years

why dont u do the same thing like 100's of other dumbfucks spray ur weed with sugar water glass sand and other shit that will harm the ppl that u need to get money?

so i dont want to get into a drama fest bro but i do have plenty of business sense. so you can push 2 or more weeks past 100 percent....hmmm so instead of cutting at lets say 20 percent you being so much smarter than some of us mr business so when i cut at 20 percent or sooner and start my next run wich means i would be at least 3 weeks ahead of your schedule on my next pay day so to say. now that you cut and have a market then when pepole relize your prduct sucks so either you have to drop the price or try to doop some one else. so when people are dying to buy your weed or pepole will be dying to get away from it. so im guessing that you could feed and educate your kids with out fucking pepole. as for the karma yea it matters but what about taking pride in your work and making plenty of money also. as far as your beer analogy goes your comparing taste when it should be non alcohol beer vs. regular beer either way ya would make more money doing the right thing bro aint karma a bitch.like i said ealier good luck to you and your garden

If I was growing to support somebody else or a family, to make money the bud, hash and edibles would have to be of decent quality. Nobody will buy from a grower who doesn't take pride in their work, because there are plenty of growers getting it right, and people would rather pay for that stuff. :dance013:
