lmao...love my pond liner too...also my stopwatch that hangs around my neck everytime i fill my res, 11 minutes exactly b4 overflow!
cuz god knows ive done exactly that more times then id like to admit!!!

I've had to clean up more than 35 gallons. Not fun. Epoxy & fiber glass sealant along the base of the drywall around the room also helps with that, contains everything and keeps yoru walls from rotting when it does happen.

I have a big reef tank that uses about 5 gallons daily of Ro/DI water for evap. topoff, I was banned to the garage for all water making duties after I flooded the house a few times filling up at the kitchen sink where the filter is.. Now I have a 50' hose to a concrete garage floor.

I overflowed a 100 gal res once just a bit. Once my girlfriend forgot to put the inline filter back in and 100 gallons went all over the dirt floor of the basement and burned out a pump...what a mess. It all flowed back into the low spot which was the work area. It was like a big mudslide...lol. For sure if I ever do hydro again will use the same setup you are Krunch. Just takes once and nice insurance.
