Very nice!!)

Very nice!!)

Just got introduced to this strain and another auto flower believer is born. Sticky and pungent, accompanied with a nice heavy stone.

I am getting a sample of some sour 60 in a few days. Got some beans coming also. I hear really great things about this strain. I have just gotten so excited about growing it. I think it's going to work good with my ptsd and for daytime use. I hear it taste really good also.

Finally have a moment to sit down a vape some sour 60 a dear friend grew. Actually, this person got me into the autos and helps me with beans. Anyway....here is how I would describe my high from sour 60.

I was tired and grumpy from appointments in town and when I got home to some sour 60. I quicky had two small bags and went off and took care of my dogs. Got some work done in my growroom, took a shower and I am now having some more.

I felt very focused while I was getting my work done. Now, I am feeling really baked and the appreciation for music has grow even more enjoyable. I am have some "time" stuff...like...boy that song has been playing forever. I am a heavy user, ounce or more I vape in a week and I use brownies and tinct. Haven't had that cool time thing in a long time.
It's a headie kind of strain for sure! It has become my favorite. Love that head high and modivation it gives.
goint to start some s60 tomorrow. got a cross of ak47xs60...will be starting that tomorrow...now the rest of the night, I am going to surf the site and listen to some Neal Young.

Sour 60 looks killer. I think I'll have to try it next year outdoors. It's nice to see autos that are growing to larger sizes. Last I grew were Powerstout and Masterlow. The masterlow was good smoke but it took too many plants to fill up my jars.

This was a really entertaining thread, esp. at the beginning. I am really indifferent about cannabis as long as it packs a nice stone, tastes good and was grown with (organic) love.

I've lurked for years over in the micro section and it was crazy to see the great Dr. talking all this shit about what seems to be a common, practical growing method/plant selection (AFs) for many growers. He's such a god to the majority of CFL growers.

All I can say though, is that a lot of people are growing this stuff, smoking it up like crazy and enjoying it. I am going to get a pack of these to start of my full size indoor grow this fall. For folks who either can choose between smoking mid-grade for four months while getting "regular" genetics going or having a beautiful crop after /two/ freakin' months, it's a no-brainer.

SOUR60 HERMIE!

SOUR60 HERMIE!

Hey mdanzig, last night i discovered a hermy in my isolated male chamber.. Plant did undergo minor stress, but nothing too out of the ordinary.. Male plant was about 25 days old had pollen sacks all over, then out of the blue started pushing pistils from all over...I killed my other males not expecting to have a hermy so now i have nothing to collect pollen from...im prayin for a male now..Ive seen a few different grows where people have experience hermies...Not tryin to bust your chops at all bro, so far i love what im seeing from my true female... just wondering what your input on this matter was, considering TONS of people are interested in this strain...I just popped my last 4 beans last night, gonna see if i have any more herms pop up...Cheers!!

Im starting to think it genetics, alot of s60 MALES ive seen in peoples grow start shooting out pistils. My temps are 75-80 constantly, maybe 84 on a super hot day... I thought i had them in a pretty good environment..NONE of the other autos ive grown have hermied, i popped 4 more sour60 beans so we will see if any of the males are herms...

I had some big shpeel written about your male 20/4 bloody thing gets erased...

What i was going to say is that male will probably give you a higher ratio of females in the offspring. I axe males like this too, but alot of reading has told me there is some thing to them.

There are lots of hermies in orig lowryder, i wouldn't chuck stones fellas. S60 is miles from alot of AF's, breeding out the hermi's from first LR cross will take alot more work than instilling potency into a line. Even adding a new line to your AF hybrid could make hermi a dom trait later on.

Just thank the man for what he has done for us.!

I agree, like i said i wasnt tryin to busy his chops, i mean like 5 different strains were used to make s60, and mdanzig wasnt the breeder of all the strains, so herm genes could have came from ANY one of those strains, i was just wondering if he had an input, such as if he experience any hermies when he was doing the breeding.. Im very satisfied with what mdanzig has done with the AF world and so far im loving sour60, out of the 8 beans i popped i now have 5 females that im sure are gonna very nice producers.. I understand fully that the herm genes could be compelty out of the hands of mdanzig... Sorry if it seemed like i was raggin on the man, i have mad respect for him as a breeder. Cheers Bh!:tiphat:

I got a single pack when they were first released, made some f2s, and never came across a single hermie, neither in the originals nor in the f2s. I have exposed them to irregular photoperiods, very hot/very cold cycles, without a problem other than slowing growth when conditions were not good.
All I'd like to say is don't give up on the Sour60s, because they are some GREAT autos... and are great to work with once you've made some stock (ie. seeds)... some friends (not light smokers) have got baked off it without even suspecting it was an AF...

No hermies here, been growing them since they were released!
