WTF JUST HAPPENED IN THE PAST COUPLE DAYS?!?!?!

SD is fucking blowing it out of the water with breeding holy shit!!!!!! Like every single person is breeding now, were probably making some of the dankest genetics to hit the soil and in a few years people are gonna be asking for that Albert Walker C99, or that Alien Dawg Purple Joy, WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!

I'm seriously stoked right now! And Oh yea Sub remember how I was saying that Tahoe looked like some J1 or something? Well its interesting I see "Echos" Tahoe and it also resembles a J1 sort of, I see the Kush in her but that Tahoe looks Kinda different to me than the standard OG look ya know what I'm saying?

man guys im not from sd but im super glad to be here. with the great information minus the egos and that i have this cut and you cnt bull. atleast i get to chill with ape from time to time up here.

sorry if i offended you GT i was only asking if it would carry the herm trait and make it more hermi prone. the adog is great even if it herms. usually they are empty pollen sacks regarless. would you also put me on the list for bean testers for you bro it would be an honor to give those a go. im on a mission to make some of my own beans sucks being at the farm and getting charged an arm and a leg for 10 beans. i dnt mind 100 or even 200 but anything more is just not for me.

i do....and its smell....i hadnt actually smelled it til that night...so much like j1, but something was just a bit diff....my first thought was someone crossed j w sumpin else...then when i called sophie, asked what else he was runnin, he told me that strain right off the bat cuz i asked if he still had j1....he has other cuts too, but i would bet my last dollar its the xj....just too much alike to be anything else he has....
---kush...aint gotta be from dago...we started the thread to be about the cuts available in dago...and at the time it was mostly bout cuts APE was vending...so its all good...

EDIT: Oh shit, high heat? I'm fucked. And Chem D. GT, You said all the words i didn't want to hear.
:
I haven't run the ChemD but I've heard it can hermi, maybe Sub or someone with experience w/ ChemD can chime in. As far as AD-E is concerned, theres a thread on WT where some guy was complaing about nanners only to later admit his temps & light levels were real high

@Caligreen
Sup Bro! I hope life has been treating you good.

@kushiekush21
No worries Dude. Your ? wasnt offensive.

This was Blue Dream indoor on my last run, looked ok at the end but was super fluffy and foxtaily. Looked dense while flowering though...

Next is my summer crop I will be making bubble with! All of the nugs will go in the bags, except for maybe a couple prime clean keepers I'm praying won't get touched by anymore caterpillars....I'll let the pictures do the talking ;)

Cali, its good to see things going good for ya...you gotta feel better after that last round. Congrats. Dude, your post has it all...great pics, creative graphics, 'fat turds fucker', sweet revenge, and nice clean closeups of nugs. It may be the best post I've ever seen.

It seems high heat is one of the triggers for the AD-E to hermi.
I realize there's a chance of hermi-age just by having the ChemD in there. IMO, it's really a crap shoot but I got the dice in hand & I'm rollin! The keepers will be kept, the hermi prone ones will be burned & not repeated. This isn't about making a stable seed line. It's about finding gems to mother.

Hey Guys !! Nice to see all the work being done and the bomb genetics being flowered, as well as GT back and posting sweet information.

Let's put the heat issue to rest. Generally speaking 75 degrees fahrenheigt is the sweet spot for day time, while 72 degrees is for night time. Unless you want colors in which case you want to hit 68 degrees at night. Anything over 78 degrees and your looking for trouble. In my experience 81 and more has granted nanners most of the time on all but the most stable strains.
This is in what I have read and experienced with rockwool in an ebb and flow setup.

....After today's heat conversation i went out and bought another AC that actually works.

BTW, that temp range does not apply when running CO2. I run at 84 - 86 during the day (at 1500 - 1750 ppm) and i haven't seen a nanner or bean in over a year. With like 20 different strains coming through here. Not including this run.

Not saying i am a fan of high temps... just saying.. something.

high heat in and of itself should not cause a plant to hermie...high temps may lead a plant that is hermie prone to throw...and extreme heat may do it even to a plant that is pretty rugged...but i wouldnt worry much...my flowering room averages in the 80s during the summer(lights on) and i have some finicky bitches....temps in the 10 degree +/- of 76 will effect metabolism more than hermie issue... someone was worried bout thier chem d...she will throw a few nanners occasionally...but ive yet to see a viable one on her....
---nata...co2 enrichment allows your plants to operate at the same level in...i dont know...mid eighties as the same cuts would operate at 76f w out co2...

^^ two of the best posts ever seen, hahaha...

cali : wtf dude ? those outdoors girls filled out on ya REAL quick ! they dont even look the same, great job man...

NAT: im no expert, but if your temps stay consistent at 84-86 with c02 you should be fine. i think its the fluctuations that affects the ad..

yea dude I hope to make some awesome bubble!!!

See Mito high temps are aight!!!! lol

Voodoo

yeah, i was gonna say, my rule has always been 88+ is to hot. I use ambient air with a fan for cooling, so Im at the mercy of nature - haven't had anything hermie from temps.

Heh, of course if you count my ice water bath 10 day flush on the Chernobyl (36 degrees) - then yeah, after that I had hermies just starting to develop.

Come over lets put the bags to work!!
I got a bunch of 99% iso
I also just got a whole case of vector. I also have all the Alien dog ether seperated from the DUD separated from the cherry AK and other purps I ran. then what ever else is left together so 4 to flavors of concentrate sometime soon.

Thanx guys for the info. There has been some difference in opinion between Cali and I over this. It must be the CO2 then. Because I have yet to run a single strain. it is always multiples, but in any situation where the temps have been above 80. it has resulted in nanners. Matter of fact I am about to invest in a better AC because the one I am running with barely can keep mine at 80 which is why I have not flipped yet. I have yet to run CO2. I think I am gonna...

LOOKING GREAT CALI!!!

mito^^ were your temps staying at an even high temp ? maybe your watering with colder water when your medium is a bit warm.. thats happened to me. either way, your getting a new ac..problem solved.
BUT, i really think nanners are from fluctuations/ stress. Like voo said, his chernobyll was nice till the ice...

Apologize in advance if this doesn't fit this thread...

Looking to get pest free clones from 215 source. Every time I get kids here at the shops in Diego I get mites and mildew. Anyone have any recommendations?

quarantine them before joining them with your other crops?

That is the only way to get pest free, no matter where you get your clones, they will always carry something .... better be safe than sorry ...

cheers,
