Your not in disagreement with anyone, your fear mongering in an attempt to shoot down 19 for your own private motives.

In your same thinking, we should completly ban alcohol because there are still counties left in america that dont allow the sale of it.

Why not ban the sale of all guns because skunk cant buy a missle launcher?

Why not ban public from driving because skunk cant drive 300 miles an hour in a school zone?

Legalization is just that. Its not a free for all for you to act like a complete fool.

wow you really do use the MSNBC / progressive debating strategy.
Where did I every say let me drive 300mph in a school ?
WHERE I ASK YOU?????? I said number one lane. If you are as smart as you say you are then where would the number one lane usually be???? THE FREEWAY maybe????
Where did I say I wanted a missle launcher? Wow you really are the man of misinformation.
SCORE BOARD!!!! I caught you in a flatout lie and misrepresenting my post correct? You should leave according your idealogy.
Does everybosdy have to spell out every detail so you won't take it out of context???

You so smart you fail to see the comparision.

Lets break it down:
You say "why would a city turn down a chance to bring in millions of tax dollars while removing the $$$ associated with enforcing marijuana laws? then there is your "common sense proves otherwise" part.

I say if that is the case then why not stop regulating my 2nd admendment RIGHTS away and let me buy any gun I want IF I WILLING TO PAY THE TAXES. Taxes that will bring in $$$$$$$ for the state and/or cities, correct? It will also save the city the cost associated with going after people who may own guns that are not curently legal in Cali.

I say let me be free with my privilege to drive fast on the freeway or desiganted areas of road as long as I pay the fee (or taxes), etc. It will also save the city the costs associated with going after people who drive too fast or put illegal parts on their cars.
So why are cities turning down good tax and/or fee money from the gun people?
Why does the state outlaw so many cars and parts that would generate lots of tax revenue and jobs?

I already know what your progressive smart A@@ is going to say MAYBE. Gun kill and cars pollute but marijuana is totally harmless MAN ( in that lame loser hippy tone of voice).

You are so caught up in your own ideology its very interesting.

I could say that you try hard in a indirect way to discredit people with smear tactics just like MSNBC and the progressives. Do you belong to the website ThinkProgress? or doyou work for the Center for American Progressive because you use their talking points very well.
Its alright I have love for you.
For those with your one-sided Fox comments, your full if it. I watch all the cable news programs just to compare the B.S. and I read a lot of sites mostly progressive ones because they are interesting, VERY INTERESTING!

I love it

Here we go again with the same tired proclamations that have been refuted endlessly. Is there some specific example of how poorly written it is, or is this just a global condemnation that we should accept at face value because your opinion is so valuable?

yes there is a theme here
and that theme is 'it will be taxed!, taxed i tell you!'
yeah, commercial rec sales are going to be taxed to some extent in any proposition that will be passable
and if the taxes are high? don't buy the overpriced shit, it's not like this is taking away anything you have now(no current commercial rec sales)
and if it is so heavily taxed, then 215 dispensaries are just like before, go back there for some deals

Just because you have money doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want...specially since what you want would seriously endanger public safety.

Are you really trying to refrence mj is as dangerous as fully automatic weapons and people driving 300mph on the freeway?

interesting....

so no traffic laws whatsoever if you pay?

and your 2nd amendment analogy only holds water if 19 is a federal proposal.
as it sits you are mixing federal anti gun laws with state anti marijuana laws. id like to se both repealed this is why ill be voting against prohibition. this is why i wont be voting the same way as gov. employees and leos.

mind the company you keep.

if you lie down with dogs you WILL wake up with fleas

thats why I stay away from rastas and the beach hippies in my area cause who knows what they have.

Sorry but they do compare. Pot is illegal under fed law and states are breaking that law just like AZ did with their immigration law. You find me the law from the fed that says pot is not illegal. I know what Eric holder said but that does not change the law. Whether Eric Holder enforces fed law is another story.

wow I guess it all has to be spelled out for you stoners. You people would never be able to drive in Germany. Look it up how much it costs it learn to drive in Germany and what happens to you if you break down on the Autobahn. You fail to understand what I said about insurance , car inspections, driver training and of course it doesn't mean a license to drive like an A$$ but to let me be FREE when it is safe on the open highway like how they do it on the Autobahn. Just like the way we all want to smoke pot all day long and we will never do anything while under the influence of pot that may endanger some innocent person, correct?

I like how you stick with the words I never said, 300mph???
anyways gun are 100% safe in my opinion. It's the people with bad intentions that should not be allowed to own guns. War isn't right but at least I understand why a soldier gets killed in war. It's war ,bullets and bombs but when thousands of people die every year from driving a car to work or from using their cell phone while driving it makes absolutly no sense. look it up http://www-fars.nhtsa.dot.gov/Main/index.aspx and http://www.icasualties.org/oef/. so at least 30,00 people a year get killed while driving and far less then that get killed fighting a war every year. I think I might be/feel safer in afghanistan then while driving on ours street and freeways in peace time no bullets or bomb on ours street and freeways.
I think we should all walk and smoke pot. Is that good enough for you? We save the environment, we stop the killing by cars, we get high, we stop be big corps ( death to the car industry and the support industries) and we all live in harmony, correct?

I guess I'm a crazy gun and car guy but you ares the safest most thoughtful pot smokers in the world!!!!

Okay now back to taxing things.
You say illegal doesn't work so legalize it and tax and regulate it. So why do you feel you have the right to smoke pot but I don't have the 2nd admendment right to have any gun I want(not a missle launcher, that would be classified as a destructive device 100% illegal which of course you don't know because you most likely have never owned a firearm or read the laws.) or car part for my car or to drive my car at high speeds on the appropriate freeways when conditions are safe?

Are you for real, seriously? Are you being condescending with your admission that you smoking a bong in the privacy of your house just as dangerous as me doing what I never said? Got you dead to rights on that one. Come on quote me where I said driving 300mph while shooting an automatic weapon out my sunroof. Stop trying to be witty like Racheal Maddow.

You just keep dodging the truth about what I wrote and keep taking things out of context and lying. Its a free country or I mean website and of course you seem to have the ability to call for bans on people so why should you debate me on what I worte in an honest way, you just keep doing what you have been doing for the last couple of posts.

give a man a link he learns for a moment...

teach a man to research independently he can learn forever..

i dont enjoy enabling ignorance

From the top of the link:

WHEREAS, if passed by the voters of the State of California on November 2, 2010, Proposition 19, also known as the Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010, would legalize use and cultivation of marijuana for personal consumption, authorize the establishment of commercial businesses that sell cannabis, allow local governments to regulate the commercial marijuana industry, and allow local governments to impose taxes and fees on marijuana related activities; and

So there's somewhere in the neighborhood of 480 municipalities in California that could result in 480 different ordinances.

:dance013: Yep, that's makes a lot of sense to me.

im glad you understand a one size fits all solution for 480 separate municipalities would be a usurpation of the citizens rights.

as it is much easier for an individual citizen to effect change at a local level.

hell in smaller municipalities millages sometimes pass or fail by a single vote...

Yeah....I can vouch for highgrade.....he's an oldtimer from the Overgrow days who pretty much pioneered the DWC (Deep Water Culture)......method of growing....

he had many excellent posts and quite a following waaay before krusty came about with his bubbling buckets....(DWC).....

....and we all have opinions on Prop 19......your's is as valid as mine....for or against....

...since I am not Californian.....or live/can vote there.....I tend to look at this Prop 19 from a global perspective.....and it looks like a good start to worldwide legalization/normalization of cannabis.....to me.
