best seed company for noobs

Being a first time grower, Nirvana is the best price and 80-90% of their seeds have cracked for me. currently 2 flowering Chrystal plants(very easy to grow so far.)Got 2 females and 7 males, boy that sucked, but now have 4 clones of the females. so after all is said and done i got 2 females(unlimited clones) for 32 dollars and change(shipping included). Now that is a deal. Granted i would love to grow some more expensive beans in the future, but not now.

You want easy to grow, powerful as hell, and stinky as a skunk parade?
Reservoir's CHEMDOG IBL.
It's not cheap, but great genetics never are.

~RD~

no doubt the Chem is a great lady but com on dude
a 180 dollar strain that even experienced growers trows nanners with unless they have it very well dialed in regarding a perfect environment when it comes to nutes, temperatures etc

he would be way better of growing some 30 dollar Nirvana Afghan and similar first and if he completes grows without any problems he can start playing with the expensive and tricky ones

whats the next crazy recommendation for noobs?

Original Haze ?

As soon as you can keep a plant alive till harvest, costs don't matter anymore.
I don't think any seed-bank is dividable into noob/pro, it's what you prefer.

The remark about the nanners is quite ridiculous as the IBL has not been grown out a lot. Also, the cheaper the strain, the less it's been worked. Therefore, cheaper strains are harder to grow because of the pheno's.

Any new sativa growers looking for genetics (it happens) ,,, click the butterfly sign-off below and check out Pacific Mix packs.. they are most reasonably priced.. esp 5packs. Perfect for outdoor growers (in the lands down-under),, NOT ideal for new growers with limited space/height (big plants in that pack!) :canabis:

Hope this helps

MORON.

You're talking out of your hind-end,please refrain.
FIND ME A THREAD WITH CHEMDOG IBL GROWING PAST THREE WEEKS OLD IN IT,AND I'LL BUY YOU A FUCKING FERRARI.
Those seeds were JUST RELEASED,so please,KEEP YOUR NOOB PIE-SLOT CLOSED,UNTIL YOU HAVE SOME ACTUAL,FACTUAL INFORMATION TO ADD.
It's hard enough, dealing with the seed business, without having to straighten out retards like you, spouting false information.

Geesh.

harsh words from both sides!! i can't even call myself a noob but it will good for all to see the dog make ibl status. as hybrids get more sophisticated in the quest for potency or other specifics, it often uncorks other traits hidden in the genetic structure not so likable.

Seems like his highness have a problem talking politely to those he doesnt agree with but ill try to answer you without climbing down on your level...

Since you call it IBL one would assume that its a close to the clone as it gets right?
But if you have managed to improve it beyond the clone then you should ditch the IBL and maybe ad an "IMPROVED - EASY TO GROW- NO NANNER VERSION"" to the name instead to avoid further misunderstandings to whether its a close to the clone as possible or if its an improved version of the clone or whatever you call it.
of course you want to hype and sell your new strain dude but recommending Chemdog as a 180 dollar easy to grow option to a noob that doesnt know better is rather low in my book..
if you released an Original Haze IBL would you push it to noobs also saying its an easy strain to grow?

this is just my 2 cents and you dont have to buy me a Ferrari for that

not even a Rolex watch ;)

I've been using shitty ol bag seed and I don't give a flyin fuck if they die or not! I'm scared shitless to buy seeds thru the mail. My first grow I started 24 plants and only one died on me. when the smoke was ready I harvested 13 females. At 4 wks flower I butchered 5 early tops and slapped what was left of those 5 plants in the ground outside. That was middle of May. They looked like shit for about 5 wks. Didnt even look like pot and then suddenly they snapped out of the troll stage and are now about 4feet tall and starting to flower again. Hell ... I even get a buzz of the leaves. Its a weed and can be abused badly and will still get you near a different planet.

I guess what I was really trying to say is "God bless Mexican dirt shit " Its good practice. I wish I wasn't so SKEEERD to buy seeds thru the mail as I am confident that I could make a decent grow with any WEED seed.If you can't grow pot ....u can't grow anything.

Funny - we just scored a PM 5 pack for $15, today. Sweet score. Good advice.

All righty,then.

I'll do this Point-By-Point,so even you can
understand,fucktard..

1) The New,CHEMDOG "IBL" IS A CHEMDOG-BASED,INBRED LINE.
If you do not understand the term "inbred line",
and it is very clear that you do not,go ahead and read up-
I don't have time to waste explaining it to you.

2) Thanks for the useless advice on naming seeds, read and instantly forgotten.
There's NEVER been ANY reversal issues with CHEMDOG seeds that I'm aware of.
You repeatedly, incorrectly, refer to what I'm guessing(?)
was an early CHEMDOG SOUR DIESEL hybrid which had
a phenotype that would reverse under stress,
(since addressed,and resolved) as "CHEMDOG".
Numbnuts.
Is that supposed to somehow embarrass me?
Like you have some special, inside fucking joke the rest of us don't get?
You're Special,all right.
Short-bus Special.

3) You're (still) an idiot.
I don't EVER need to "hype" anything.
Do you read here?
Or is everything you do text-to-speech? :D
Reservoir Seeds holds every single Seedbay record that exists.
(Most sold in a day/minute/hour,etc. etc. etc.)
Dumbass.
But most importantly,Reservoir's work speaks LOUD & CLEAR for itself.
Read up,use the Search Engine.
If you're literate, which is questionable, given your lack of grasp of the subject you're commenting on,you'll get It,or you Won't.

4) See number three,above.
(Saves bandwidth!)

5) Your "two cents" hasn't been worth the .00000000001 it costs to host the bandwidth for the post.

I suggest you run along,now.
I don't wish to engage in this past this point.
If I was you,I wouldn't insist. :)
(Hint: This is where Push Comes to Shove.)
I've been in a good mood lately, even suffering
the odd fool, like you, from time to time.
But,my current sunny disposition that doesn't
guarantee I''ll stay that way,
especially if you insist on being an irritant.
You're being an uninformed douchebag,
and that wears thin after about.... Now.

Capish? Good.

Politicos aside, I wouldn't want to get into a pissing match w/ Rez. Short chance of coming out on top. Can't speak of the Chem IBL, cuz I aint growed it YET. Too bad his Apollo projects aren't still around. Those plants produce some class A+++ smoke that a two year old could grow out. Easy Peasy...I've grown the Sour Diesel IBL and wouldn't recommend it to a novice, but if Rez states the Chem IBL is easy to grow, chances are, it is. If the price tag has you sweating, might I suggest Spice of Life 'Adventure mix' for like $50 bucks. After bag seed, I cut my teeth on a 10 pack of the Adventure Mix and still to this day wish I would have kept one of the fruity indica dom's I grew out of that pack. Quick and easy all the way. Just need to watch out for mold, cuz the buds can get dense...

:laughing:, shamless plug (not that you need to),,Rez smoke at fat 1 & chill.......................................i suppose it was only a matter of time before the Dog came out.....

my 2 cents......is there such a thing as a easy 1 strain to grow?

research as much as possible (before you even buy seeds),,then buy what you can afford,,
if its Rez's chemdog at ($180) or Nirvanas Ice,ak47 at ($20) it dont really matter,,,,

if youve done your research right you shouldent have meny probs & if you do,,weve got a great section for sick plants...(growers of meny years still have troubles every now& then, thats what keeps us on our toes).....

i say dig deep and buy the best you can,,,take some cuts (research again), so if thing do go tits up,,you will have some cuts to keep going)

keep it green

lol...I have no dog in this fight, but I do find it refreshing to see a man spell it out the way it needs to be spelled out. I hate the touchy feely lovey dovey bullshit that gets slathered around like so much drool. If a man is going to bring it, bring it...or stay on the porch.

Nobody mentioned female seeds? It's actually ran like a proper seed company, with offspring stability/uniformity testing etc just like the few other good (and expensive!) breeders out there. Their beans are not expensive either. It's a shame they only sell feminized, but if you don't want males/seeds anyway and just go with clones that shouldn't bother you
