True Blood.......

Where do you think they are going with Lafayette's new boy toy? They do seem to be spending an inordinate amount of time on this budding relationship, so there must be some payoff.

Maybe he is DEA and going to bust him for selling drugs. I hear DEA take it up the ass all the time, so the story isn't too far off if true.

how in the world is Sookie gonna get out of this one? Lorena got her fangs stuck in Sookie's neck, Bill ain't getting up, it's daylight, so Eric ain't popping in to save the day....

Sookie must save her self I guess.... She must be using her secret powers???

I'm guessing that her new werewolf friend will help her get out of that one, or maybe Tara jumps in to bust some more vampire ass. Either way, it's daytime so Lorena is much weaker.

I wish that Sookie was a little more interested in figuring out her powers. If not to find out who she is, then at least to figure out how to start fighting back.

am i the only one getting as annoyed with Lorena as i did with Maryann? someone needs to stake that broad. while i touch on that....what if thats what happens? one of the old legends is that if you kill the "head" vampire the others turn back to normal. Sooooo, if you kill a vampires maker, does said vampire return to being human?

...as always the show raises more questions than it answers
that's a distinct possibility and yes kill a vampires maker & he/she'll revert back supposedly. as the writers are playing w/the supernatural there are no rules, within reason they can make it up as they go along and so far they haven't strayed far from original folklore.

Sorry for the interruption but I've just gotta throw this in.

I don't have cable so I can't watch this normally. But, my local library has it on dvd. I've seen all of season 1 and the first couple episodes of season 2. I'm reading this thread from the beginning but only reading up to the point I've seen. I'll see ya later, when I catch up.

:smoke:

It looks like Eric is gonna be a Viking vampire, sorta like the legend of the original Eric the Viking, who supposedly made a deal with the devil so he could get revenge on the people who killed his father.....

very interesting subplot. I guess Eric is gonna suck ass till he gets a chance to kill the ole Vampire King of Mississippi? ;)

LolaGal we are in complete agreeance about Lafayette and the long drawn out kissing seen with Jesus! I had to look away! :nono:

There has been a lot more blood and gore in these last 2 episodes...What's with Tara and biting Franklin's neck? That was yucky...I was trying to get my parents into True Blood this season but after the last 2 shows my mom refuses to watch.

After every show ends I wish it was next Sunday...LOL

I also like Dexter and Weeds (duh). I think Dexter is up there with the best shows on TV.

These True Blood episodes are so intense because a lot is being uncovered and revealed to the audience...What will happen this week?! :chin:

and yeah Tara was a fool for not staking Franklin or throwing some silver into his melon and smashing it some more.

how come I keep watching this episode over and over? lol.

this is the second time today... twice yesterday... once tues, once Monday, twice Sunday..

i am addicted.. heeehee.

Did Talbot make Lorena? What is it that Bill sez to her when she is killing him about somebody making her hard and evil like them?

i just had a thought. ...and im just spitballing here so go with me on this.

IF and yes thats a big if. if when Lorena dies, Bill becomes human again....what happens to Jessica? does she revert back to human?

speaking of Jessica, i really got a kick out of how she was fucking with Arlene. plus im sure the whole thing between Hoyt and her isnt over with. something tells me that a situation like that is gonna turn messy. (maybe both literally and figuratively)

we could speculate for every minute of every day on shit like this, but in the end we probably still wont get it.

Hang on, that have meant that when Godric died, Erik would have turned back into human. I assume that someone will counter that Godric committed suicide so that doesn't count. . . .

I don't think that the show is going to go in the direction of vamps turning back into humans. Don't you think that Bill would have killed Lorena long ago if this was true. In so many episodes we have heard that there is no hope for Bill and Sookie, that the vampires are cursed by having to walk the earth for centuries living off blood and never seeing the sun, and now one vamp dies and others pop back to life? I'm not buying it.

good call indeed & the suicide over staking a heart may have something to do with reverting back or not.

Bill cannot kill Lorena because she's older & therefore more powerful according to the story line thus far in True Blood, gender holds no strength here.

as I recall in the movie Lost Boys it was only the half-vamps that reverted back to humans once the head vampire was slain but as mentioned before the writers can make up the rules as they go along here too.......

Ok, now it looks from the previews that Sookie is gonna wind up in the hospital dead??

I love the way the previews change as the week progresses... Extra tidbits..

I don't see the preview of Bill looking like he is healed anymore. Just saw it the one time.

damn it, Sunday is soo far off.

lol

the King tells Eric they'll stop @ Fangtasia on the way back to Jackson, the magistrate is holding Erics vamp gal/pal Pam hostage & evidently the king hates the magistrate, I expect we'll see some sort of action here.

in a society where it seems to take some sort of protocol to kill a vampire I'm surprised that Bill was so summarily sentenced to die based on Eric's lies and perhaps by his own running off to Sookie's aid.

and when will we see Eric take his revenge on the king.......
