thanks rasputin... good luck with the CSD... have you seen the one that is done? (this is my 2nd round of CSD)

...if i have a fav... it's kinda hard because they are all very different... each one individually is awesome i like them all

but if i had to make a top 3 it would be... based on the phenos i got (and this is important)

Strawberry D , Chem99 and ChemSour

why? because the strwD. was very heady weed almost psychedelic ... with a great taste... the chem99 because it was the perfect blend of the best of both worlds (sativa-indica) just the perfect blend nice mix of head and a bit of body high with alot cindy influence in taste and chemsour in 3rd cause if i smoke 3 joints a get so stoned i can't move ... i got a very chemdog dominant pheno... and this shit is powerful as hell... again one of the most powerful herbs i've tryed

so in weekends the order changes get it.. it's really hard to tell ... not to mention the other stuff i grow ...sour bubble, cinderella, sogouda, nycd, my all time MSSxSDv3 fewww ehehe

Thanks for the response, jonas. On re-reading my post I realized my question was kinda dickish... I imagine if someone asked me to rate my 4 moms it'd be equally difficult given that I have them each for diff. reasons & qualities so I dig where you're coming from. Nice to hear about the specifics you like about em tho, sound like very sweet ladies.

The Mass Super Skunk x Sour D cross sounds amazing. But Im glad to hear the Strawberry D has that sorta high to it, I have a Sour D 'cousin' if you will that is really taste & has a great head high so it covers that base for me. Im now trying to find something like your Chem99, a good mix of the two. Im hoping one of my CDSD's has it. I've got probably 5 females out of the 10 pack and some are very Sour D in appearance, only one looks like Chem D but there are two others that look distinctly 'new', not like either parent too much so Im excited for those.

I didn't see your finished ChemSD but Ill go back to check it out. Luckily more journals w/them are popping up and once I have some ready to flip I'll put up a journal in the Res forum to show how they do.

you will see alot of Sour diesel influence in bud wallup, but all the rest very chemdog dominant!

thought I'd share a funny story about one of the $20 BIN that you made Jonas.
So basically I woke up @ 4 a.m just so I wouldn't miss the 5 a.m drop. The drop lasted about 2 min. no joke. Jonas, your genetics are in very high demand as I'm sure you know. I originally wanted the Strawberry diesel or Mass super skunk but my clicking wasn't fast enough. Fortunately I was able to get the NYCD x (studs are either witch's weed, chemdog99, strawberry diesel, sour bubble, and c99). I put it in the freezer instead of the fridge because I don't plan on messing with males for at least a year from now and I figured they would keep longer. Well, I wrapped em up in a plastic bag. Let me tell you, when I have a shitty day, I toke a phatty and just gaze at those seed packs thinking what's going to come of them. My sister was doing some cleaning of the kitchen and she didn't know what it was so she threw it in the trash. Conveniently, I was having a shitty day and realized this before it was too late. I was knee deep in trash but I came out clean with a smile that I found those beans before they were lost forever. Technically your beans have made my day twice. Once when I won them online and the second time when I found them in the garbage.

By the way I'm loving the tight cluster fuck nodal spacing of the blue sat 2.2.

look mate i'm currently working on my next project which is Massachusetts Super Skunk x Sour Diesel v3 f2 and i'm hopping to release them more to end of the year NOV/DEC and this time there will be plenty of beans...

- find a strawberry dominant pheno (strw. d)
- find a more Sour Diesel dominant pheno (csd)
- (still) finding the best mss x sdv3 best pheno and make f2
- get dank smoke from all the ladies...

all the ladies produced their offspring...naturally they took a bit longer to finish...

Chemdog Sour Diesel
HARVEST: 12 weeks (85 days of 12/12)

LOOKS:
I always keep a plant untouched when it's the first time i grow her (usually)
i like to see what mother nature come up with and this time was no exception…
just let her grow with out any topping , bending or training of any sort.
She grown into a large cola with lots of popcorn buds. it resembles a lot sour diesel
form picts i've seen (and dreamed!) in the wall up with those big a swollen calyx
it also has a great bud/leaf ratio… which is a big plus
been a reservoir strain it couldn't come out without a coat of trics covering all the plant giving it a lot of white color
in a 1 to 10 for the looks… a 10 …easy!

SMELL:
Very earthy… with a bit of garlic in the mix ….complex


TASTE:
Very chemdog flava… i admit i was a bit deceived by the looks,
cause i was expecting a more SD dominant pheno… it kinda tasted what i
smelled…

EFFECT:
Once agin Rez hit right on the spot… need caution with these or you will be napping… very indica high.
it was better smoke later at night in the comfort of home… still leaving you sociable
enough to be talkative and participative
it has a strong narc. effect leaving a numbly feeling trhouh out the body… me like

OVERALL:
She took a bit longer than expect cause of the seeds i wan to make sure they were fully mature,
I truly believe she can come down around week 10 (my average) , she was very easy to grow no special detail needed.
Good yielding… and true knock out power.

Chemdog99
HARVEST: 9 weeks and something (68 days of 12/12)

LOOKS:
is it really necessary to say anything! these are those kinda strains that are has good has they look;
this shit is pure dank and she looks absolutely gorgeous with fat heavy dense nudges and heavily covered in trichomes… this happened thankfully cause of the chemdog…imo
i'm not even gonna dare to compare this to Rez C99 momma but i def can se some similarities on this pheno

SMELL:
Since early in veg she smelled good when rubbing… she's a winner in smell sweat fresh pineapple with a twist of chem…

TASTE:
I still have 4 original seeds left… but i'm already guessing i found my keeper.
Absolutely de-li-ci-ous all that sweat fresh lava mixes up in the mouth…threes a hashy after taste in it…yummy… very smooth smoke.

EFFECT:
Any time of the day is good for this treat… very well balanced sativa-indica, perfect head with that warm
feeling all around your body… if you let it go it's very relaxing for the muscles… very pleasant effect

OVERALL:
I really was staring to get afraid i wouldn't find any gals… until now only found males… so i finally got this wonderful pheno, for my citeria she's just the perfect example of dank… she has it all looks, smell,
flavor and a great high.

One thing always bug me thou! the parental line of this release of Chemdog99, I've read Rez release different versions of this cross, so for me, until proven otherwise, this is is C99 mom x with Chemdog D;

Strawberry Diesel f2
HARVEST: 9 weeks and something (68 days of 12/12)

LOOKS:
OMG… she's a beast… it has very dense buds…a very filled cola…and the bud/leaf ratio…fucking amazing…look at it , you can almost count the leafs you need to pluck to finish trim..
quick trim is priceless for me.
Not sure what this pheno represent the most… I can see some SD in it…. but not the dominante pheno

SMELL:
in veg when rubbed I swear it smelled strawberries… maybe it was just power of suggestion but… dam it really had the berry smell…
while she developed later on in flowering I believe she began to lean more to the SD
(although, it's hard to compare with something I never grow…I'm guessing!)
when rubbing on the fine trim it left the fingers oily rather than sticky with very oily/diesel funky smell…
…which is very cool…


TASTE:
More floral with a slightly fruity after taste.
Very smooth smoke even since early smokes… with a obvious improvement trough out the cure
I went to this jar alot!


EFFECT:
Wow…. this i wasn't expecting…psychedelic highs…what a trippy weed…98% head high
it puts your minding spinning in thoughts in a flash. Very very funny smoke…not the typical stuff…much better.

OVERALL:
to Ganesh…what else…thank you for these brotha! With that momma it couldn't go wrong.
nice yields, great taste n' smell, amazing high…and my best yielder from this run…unfortunately this nug it's all there's left… i promise i smoke it well.
anyway… this was a great finding… still have 16 more beans to play with… by the look of things it
will only get better
