people get over this 5x5 thing.
think vertically.
Grow big, make it a tree

And if your local Government says the plants can only be 1 foot tall?

They have the right since Prop 19 doesn't state the height just the 2d of 5x5.

What do we think of 5x5x1 ?

They are so blinded by this farce... they do not see this coming. Very nice point Jack.

The big ganjapharma will not let you succede over them.

Everyone is so excited about them taking away the rights 215 gave us to grow collectively and now we have to look at the big pharma for the meds now.

you know, it would be much easier on the people taking advantage of the bastardized medical mj scene(and the sheep who listen to thier bullshit) if we could just have one poll on this subject....it takes time to search thru the sight finding all these threads and polls for them to push thier bullshit on people who dont like to think for themselves...dont you understand? they have money to make off of "patients"... it takes all day to make thousands of dollars....

Voting NO on 19 = Greed.

Why else would you be willing to take the chance that you'll be tossed in prison over Tylenol?

I hope for legalization before I leave this earth. It would be wonderful to not worry about going to prison for the most important plant we have on earth.. but after all the controversy over the present bill I can't vote for it with a clear conscience.. its not what we have waited all these years for! Just because it has been labeled "legalization" doesn't make it so and it sounds more like "industrialization" than "legalization." We need to vote NO this time around and work for a better bill... its been too long coming to settle for less than complete and total and REAL legalization.
We're farmers and we shouldn't be treated or regulated differently than any other farmer.
PLEASE VOTE NO ON "LEGALIZATION" IN NOV!

Subrob.. This debate has been going on all over this site for about a couple years.

It's been a privilege to find all the threads and be a part for me.

I agree the medical system is over taxed.

Also yes it's hard to keep it going on all fronts.. The USA is spending Trillions trying to do that now.

Also we used to have it all in one forum then that was split with the Front page News and then that original forum was diluted between that first forum and California Forum. I would say the point was to dilute not concentrate.

But yes it was a rockin place back then. I read every thread.

Jack Herrer bill in 2012

Something huh.. Even if Prop 19 passes we will have a better position in the public for a better law.

Something between California Cannabis Initiative dot org and jack Herrer: I spell that wrong too often..

Perhaps we should start a web site?

Voting no = Jail

people will still go to jail for cannabis even with this bill it might reduce it, but people that go outside the guidelines will still be hit share a joint with a 20 year old and see what happens just look at the poll on when you first danced with mary jane the bulk of the poll is 18 and under so I guess by adding two new felonys were helping them out.

only reason I am voting yes for it is because of this

(c) No person shall be punished, fined, discriminated against, or be denied any right or privilege for lawfully engaging in any conduct permitted by this Act or authorized pursuant to Section 11301 of this Act. Provided however, that the existing right of an employer to address consumption that actually impairs job performance by an employee shall not be affected.

At first I was all for prop 19. I am a huge advocate of legalization. If any plant on earth should be legal it is marijuana. I am 57 and its been a long wait for legalization but is prop 19 legalization? It looks like extreme regulation and industrialization. Government and industry swooping in to regulate the small time grower out. Its our plant.. God given and unregulated. I am willing to compromise but this isn't compromise its taking control. We are rebels and revolutionists and we are settling for less like sheeple. Please vote no.

Don't you run a collective?

I have a collective. We are a not for profit. My salary is minimal. I live in a ratty old house. My husband was killed in April in our car that was a 1999 hyundai piece of junk. I have not been able to afford to replace my beater with another beater. We barely pay the rent because we provide free medicine to low income patients and free medicine to terminal patients whenever they need it. $300. an Oz is our highest price on meds.. I don't aspire to get rich. I aspire to make affordable medicine available to patients who need it. I want everyone to be able to grow to their hearts content. Its my calling. I am not for industrialization or regulation. I want freedom for our medicine.

I'm not knocking you. I only have respect for anyone that opens a collective. I just thought that it may be pertinent considering your against this law. You see most owners/operators are in fact against prop19.

It seems your only against the commercial and regulating part. That also sticks out to me. You talk about the medical aspect even though this law has nothing to do with medical cannabis. You say you have a 'calling' to help people right? Wouldn't $100 ounces be better for them? With all their health issues and associated costs, wouldn't it be nice if their medicine didn't cost as much a precious metal?

I can debate all day long on why regulation is better for the consumers than what we have now. And 19 is about the consumers. Sure people will get rich off 19 just as people get rich now...but at least they will pay taxes.

Put aside big business for a second and think about the message this law sends to the world. Think about the tens of thousands of people in California that won't have to fear growing a plant or smoking a joint. This law will start change.

I have seen an assortment of motives for having a medical marijuana collective. That's why I started my own.
I can relate to and respect your opinion. I would love to see a more affordable price but will that be achieved with ca prop 19? California politicians see it as a revenue maker and their history isn't to make things more affordable.
I am a total advocate of legalization and I also was ready to vote "yes" at whatever cost. I have been arrested and gone to jail for marijuana (not in Ca. but in a bible belt state) and I certainly feel no one should ever go to jail for it. I wonder every day what will happen but as long as we have waited something tells me to wait. Too much regulation will still keep the price too high. They know what has been made and if you think their motive is to make it more affordable with their over regulated industrialist history then give it your vote..
I'll be voting no and hoping we get a bill that provides freedom for our medicine if I never make another dime from it. Change is already starting and we've waited this long my thought is lets don't settle for less than we deserve..
We pay sales tax, state tax and federal tax now.. and thanks for mentioning that 215forlife.

If someone is going to vote no...your answer seems to me to be the only legit excuse. I totally see what your saying and can vision your fears. I just happen to think that prices will drop...not as much as the rand report but still a big drop from what the black market brings.

I just feel aside from the regulation...the overall freedom this gives to the 'regular' guy is monumental and we need to take this 'only' chance we have. If we let 19 pass us by it could be years before another prop is introduced...and for it to pass it would obviously need to be tighter and more controlled. I don't think the 'general' public would reject this law and then vote in a lessor controlled one. I really don't see it happening.

The best news is 19 has nothing to do with 215...so regardless....you can still keep up the good fight!
