Actually, I've developed increadible relationships via craigslist, actually, one of my closest friends came from a craigslist ad he posted and I replied to. There were a couple times when my gut should have won over my logic. Hindsight IS 20/20.... Live and learn.

Yeah Reggie or Cesar Alvarez or whatever name he used was trying to rope me in to rob me.

Here is the story....

I get a call from a guy that he knows a collective friend/manager. I try to verify but friend does not answer. They want to meet in a public place.... I agree to see who this is but don't carry/bring anything with me. Meet young black guy all iced out with claiming they can buy 3/4 at a time. This seems weird to me as any real collective will never do this on a first meeting.

I say I will meet at a collective my friend has and he agrees. My friends are watching the parking lot with the security camera while I am walking in and see another vehicle park down the street with 2 other black males getting out looking really suspicious and coming across the parking lot towards me and their friend. My friends in the collective come outside immediately and the two other black guys do a about face and walk the other way back to the car....

I tell the original black guy to get lost... They start harrassing me for the next few days trying to get me to meet and I say no way friggin way.... Real creeps. one week later a couple of dispensaries get robbed by thugs... Could be same guys that got desperate.... Wheew dodged a bullet no pun intended.

Be careful in LA as vendors have to stick together!!!!

Yeah, I'm not willing to shoot someone over some pot. It wasn't much in the scheme of things and even if was quite a lot, say 5 lbs I wouldn't be willing to shoot someone... Since I don't ever see anything close to even a pound I'm not too worried about it. Hell, if they needed it THAT fucking bad, take it. Fuck, it was my own stupid fault but I did feel it was a good idea to warn other people out there perhaps using or thinking about using that website...

On another related topic, the website owner said he would put a warning AT THE TOP of his website, www.vendormaps.com and would love if you guys had some input... So the floor's open, we get a chance to warn fellow cannabis lover's about some people using the website to rip people off. Let's have it guys, and gals, I'm open to all suggestions. You are just asking for trouble and a ticket straight to jail. Do not pass go and you wont be collecting 200 dollars.
