Nobody deserves to goto jail for growing pot but they should get a severe punishment for stealing all that power, that just is not cool. I wonder how this will all play out if we get legalized in the November ballots then this should be pretty interesting! I'm gonna guess they deport everybody I mean hell a bunch of Russian spies just got sent home with a slap on the wrist for spying on the United States of America. Is growing Marijuana going to be a more highly punished offense here in the good old USA?

Let them rot in jail. I think growing weed has little to do with the issue. If the facts play out (and i never get my truth from the press) then this fits the definition of organized crime. The 10 years mandatory is just the beginning. If they are charged under the RICO statutes in federal court they will be facing a lot more time than 10 years.
Did anyone notice the IRS was involved. Income from any source, including illegal activities, must be reported on your tax return or you could be charged with tax evasion. With tax law you are guilty until proven innocent. Remember, the IRS put Al Capone in jail, not the cops.

If they did not steal power, they would've been caught the first time they turn on all the lights,
stealing power gave them an extra harvest or 2 before getting bust,

If you read SCE or PGE, they mention they will NOT give ANY law enforcement information without a signed warrant from a judge.

But then again in Sacramento County the only grows that ever get busted by the feds are the vietgangs.
Notice that the feds didn't get involved until the locals dragged them in.
People say I'm crazy and that telling the irs the truth is dumb and eont protect me, yet Mr. Taylors agents haven't fucked with me,..

the power company can run line checks and tell there are extra curcuits before a meter now days plus they know what went into a grid and what was payed for and if it is out of line with what it should be they will find the reason they are losing electicity so be smart pay for it its dumb to steal it only draws attention to your inlegal grow .but gangsters and most crimminals are not very bright that is why they steal aloha cls

No matter if November comes with a positive result, these types of activities on this scale will and should get someone popped.
Legal cannabis possession and personal growing is not the issue, organized crime is.
I don't judge those that make a living this way, I am just saying it seems logical to know that you are not just a simple grower when you are hitting the 10 million mark and not connected to any collective or legally sanctioned medical grow.

I am a friendly guy but I just think if yall are gonna come to america...... illegally or not, you should try and have a positive impact. I dont think the viets would want me coming over there with a bunch of money and start a huge op. maybe they would i dont know.
