just keep it simple with the nutes. Use the lucas formula or what GH suggests. I have done both. Keep all the additives away for the first run or two. You could use koolbloom if you want. I ran tables using GH nutes and koolbloom and got great results.

Those plants there are ready for full nutes IMO. I always used PPM, not EC but I think .8 is a little low so you may want to bump it up some.

That T5 will work great till they are 10-12" then it wont penetrate too well.

Dont worry, E&F tables are easy and you will be fine.

hi dtfsux i am running them at 400ppm i was thinking of upping it to 500ppm..as they are still a little lime green..what do you think?i was running this table without a ph meter..but my new tri meter came yesterday and is installed so should make things a lot better...atb shogun

Man I would bump them to 1000 PPM.

I have put 1000's and 1000'sf clones that were smaller than that right into flower on full nutes at 1300 PPM

You may want to go 700PPM for a couple days, then 1000 just to be safe as strains do have different requirements.

They look a little light on nutes to me too. But damn nice plants. You should see the green deepen in a couple days with a higher nute concentration. I think you could up it faster than 0.2 a week though. They will naturally be drinking more nutes over the course of only a few days at this stage.
I would agree with DTF and switch them right to 1.4 and see what they do for a couple days. I haven't seen many strains that couldn't take at least 1.6-1.8 at this stage and most IME have been able to handle quite a bit more with no burn and good swing.

That looks pretty nice. huh. I think I'd still give them some more nutes and see what they do. It'd be good to start getting some parameters for your pheno.

1.8 in veg is way too much. more nutes don't always mean bigger plants. depends on the strain. less is more in most cases. you can always add but you can't take away.

they look fine as they are mate. just cos some one says to up it don't mean its the best thing to do. good luck with it.

edit: on my exo cheese, i veg at 1.0 and flower at 1.2-1.4. using the same set up as you accept i use coco coir instead of clay pebbles. it all depends on the strain on how much nutes you use.

alright mate. try plucking the balls off and checking to see if they grow back. also check your room for light leaks. i go in my room when the lights are off for ten mins. this allows your eyes to adjust. its then you'll see any small light leaks you've missed b4. also cover any lights on leads, or electrical items. as these have been known to hermie plants. good luck with it.

Yeah, I advised upping his nutes at first because the photos looked pretty light. The last photo looked better and I advised him to up the nutes to see how the plants respond. I specifically wrote that would be to find the parameters of his particular pheno.
Nowhere did I write that more nutes=bigger plants.

Saying 1.8 is way too much is just as foolish as saying more nutes= bigger yields. It depends. I have seen a wide range of nute requirements in different phenos at differing life stages. There is no right answer, just what works for his pheno and setup.

i know you never said it means bigger plants, but alot of people seem to think that more nutes auotmatically = bigger plants. so why else would you tell him to up his nutes to 1.8 when their already looking nice and healthy. 1.8 in my experience, is too much for most plants at that stage of life. it will only burn the plants. i'm sure you've used it with great results, but just saying from my experiences at that stage of the plants life its too much. peace.
