Awesome atmosphere here in Cape Town last night, might as well call the place little Holland. Everything was Orange. We did the fan walk again and made it into the fan park. full to the brim.
Sang, danced, cheered and ate pizza on the pavement, much to the ammusement of those around us. " Must be foreigners" were most of the comments. When we told them no we are infact South African, she replied " South Africans don't eat on the pavement" loads of great laughs.
Now for tonight, I slightly shit myself. Germany are on form, but Spain has the ability to get going when they actually pull finger out their bums. Paul, the octopus, has predicted a Spanish win, I predict Calamari tubes and basmati rice for dinner later tonight. Germany to take it on current forms within the two teams.
Got money on tonights game. (equivelant of 20 UK pounds)

Agree Cry Tuff, too much fouling, but that was the Dutch Game against precision Spanish passing. How De Jong stays on the pitch with a yellow is beside me. But, Dutch showed that strong physical play goes a long way. Tall heads helps as well. Still, so happy for Spain. I was in Madrid not so long ago and can only imagine the joy...

Was a real treat to have so many nations here under one multicoloured umbrella.
Everybody had GEES!! And it was really AYOBA!! Although its no longer KE NAKO, we can still feel it!!
Well done South Africa you did us proud!
P.S. Thx must also go to the internationals for behaving themselves ( No Football hooliganism) You were all wonderful guests.
