it's been a long few days but my goal on this grow is to find my M.I.L.C. (Mom I Would Like to Clone) >>> or maybe a few of them.

most are in 2 gallon grow bags of FFOF soil. Maybe 5 are in one gallons. But there is only one of each strain in the garden.

still a lot to do but i am getting on track.

i was too tired to even water them in yesterday.

i still havent even trimmed all my last crop.

prob flipping in about a week or so. As soon as they get their feet in the ground.

Just stumbled upon your vert thread yesterday, but now I get to pop a squat and watch all the way through! I'm excited to see you go flat and do what you do best this run.

That's an amazing list of moms to choose from. I imagine the after harvest choices will be much more difficult than anything your going to encounter during the grow.

I'm just gonna say you have a thing for Ocean Grown (OG) cuz I counted about 9 strains with OG in them. That list of MILCS is immaculate btw. How is that big bud? Every big bud I ever came across smelled like cat piss (I didn't grow it). Anyways, good luck on your MILC hunt. What is your criteria? Yield, potency, height, flower time, etc...?

Yeah, kind of funny how many 'OG's there are. I have some good info on every strain in there. Supposedly the Sac town cut is the closest to the original. I dont care, whatever is the best trifecta is the keepers.

So i would say i am after #1 the high. I love almost anything with Sour D in it and i love my Cindy 99. Although sometimes it tweeks me out and i need a xanax but thats rare. All the OGs are nice but they get me wrecked so i sometimes dont puff those but the SFV cut has always been high up on my list of fav smokes. The Alien Dawg is awesome, the SSH is in a league of its own. I will always keep a cut of that around for personal smoke if its the right pheno.

Some of the others in there are just straight yielders. The Dabney, HUGE. the Madness, HUGE. Salmon Creek Big Bud, HUGE. Those girls are cash croppers. I might keep the one with the best yield / presentation. I know if grown right they can be good smoke too but the cash croppers tend to make me L A Z Y.

Right now i really have my fingers crossed for the Banana Gum and the Banana OG. Banana OG is the heaviest OG and the samples that i have had have been amazing. Then on top of that the Banana Gum is the Banana OG crossed with Bubble Gum and i am told is STUPID HUGE and BOMB. So thats what i am looking for.

I dont think anything can top C-99 for speed. I have taken her anywhere from 45 - 55 days and shes great and yields / looks very nice.

Height i dont really worry about too much. Heavy training can take care of that.

Flowering time. Well that is a factor. I dont like to cross the 70 day mark. I let some OGs go 70 - 75 but thats a pain in the ass, although the finished product is awesome. The Headband may need a while as well but this time since the SSH is in there flowering time is not a factor because i want to let her finish up proper. She will probably be the slowest.

Anyway, thats it for me. I am just hoping to find something that hits all the traits in a good balance our of these. Likely i will have to choose which 4 - 6 are the best in each of the main categories: Type of High, Potency, Yield, Presentation (density and trich coverage as well as smell) and Reasonable flowering speed.

Oh, i have never grown a Big Bud plant before myself either. If you are gonna grow your own i always felt that Big bud was not a good choice for personal stash. And i agree with you on the no smell thing. We'll see on the Salmon Creek.. Maybe its different? ...Maybe not.

...just switched from a 400 CMH to 1000w MH for a few days.


first they were clones in my veg cab. 250w CFL

then 2.5 days of 400 watt CMH

then a 3 days of 1000 watt MH

then on to flower. In case anyone was wondering.

the only problem is that i got the Madness about 6 weeks before the Salmon Creek so they aren't looking very alike right now. Madness has been topped at least 8 times while the Salmon Creek once (i think) maybe none. I still need to clone a few of these for reserve stock and the salmon creek is one and the dabney is one, as well as the banana OG. Other then that i think every thing else is properly vegging waiting to see these results.

Well of course lol it would only be right for cinderella to get her own special spot front and center hahaha. dude this grow is gonna bananas! this is a really good idea natta, This is basically eventually what i was planning to grow out the dankest strains and choose the danky of the dankest!! then crank out the CHRONIC! I heard some good things about salmon creek bud it will be interesting to see such a variety in a grow! hahaha you better get some pics up of my girlfriend (c-99) I miss her beauty in her pictures HAHAHA (just vaped some straw Diesel excuse the lame jokes lol)
one thing though natta you should go all OUT on the cure! that would truly help make your decision an accurate one. Lol the testing phase to choose the best strain will probly take as long as the grow hahaha its gonna be a hard choice...A veryyyyy hard choice hahaha but if you need help....you know who to hit up bro! hahahaha

Sorry been busy as hell. I haven't had time to do too much at all.

I did flip the garden to 12/12. Today is day two. Still on MH light to avoid stretch. I do that for a week when some of the plants are large going into flower. It helps A LOT with stretch.

I did take some clones. Some are small but not all the plants were very large going in.

Anyway, flowering has begun.

I'll get some pics this weekend. Not much happening yet.
