i just planted 20 Royal Kushes outside as well, in 5gal Smartpots with pure Canna coco.
Royal kush was brought to us from south humboldt, it is Grandaddy Purple x Pure Kush, hope it turns out as well as the sample i saw, which was the best kush hybrid ive smoked in months

I'm guessing your lb's prices that you used are a rough estimate?? 2500 each is a great deal, very cheap for indoor.. for 12 it would be more like 38,000, depending on many things...

Nice work breaking out the $ cost of the grow.. Its hard for people to understand that this 'hobby' costs major loot. I dropped a g setting my little tent up for vertical that 1, i will not be getting that $ back and 2, missed out in the benefits of a happy harvest... if you get my drift.
Vert didnt work out for me but i see it everyday for lots of people. the idea of an easy 2 per light had me hooked hard. I should have stayed happy with my 1.5 per light, flat.

Joeking - the AN big bud in weeks 2-4 was recommended by Krunchbubble, it is the only additive i use besides pure flowers..
SelfHemployed - yep, thats the RK... hopefully i can get it to yield, i'm running it outside and inside.
SecurityFirst - i'm a big fan of your setup.. hopefully i will get more than 1.5lbs per light with the blue dream, since i can achieve that in a horizontal setup easily.
420Gurl - i am anticipating 6 - 12 lbs, usually go for 3k+ per lb, more if its kush. I was just reading a newspaper article that said if Cali legalizes, herb will sell for $100 per ounce and the government will get 50 of it!!!! lets pray this doesnt go down
Natagonnaworrie - 1.5 per light is nice, but i've heard of ppl getting 2.5+ with vertical setups dialed in. i would be happy with 1.5 tho anyway, regardless of vertical or horizontal.
As of today I am almost done building my first 3kw cooltube room, hopefully by tomorrow I can start on my second room, which is still 4kw bare bulbs from my last grow. I have to dismantle that setup and then make it match the first one... should be nice, two matching vert rooms...

oh, and also a picture of the Royal Kushes chilling on my balcony at my spot in the SC mountains... so happy!

WTF!? $3000 a month for rentals and you guys only get 3k/lb for bomb indoors out in cali? Too much bud flooding the market... How can you make any guap at those prices? I'm sure you already know this, but we're getting 5000-6000/lb all day for blue dream or anything of similar quality on the east coast and there is nowhere near enough of it around to supply the demand.

Shcrews, i dont think you have to worry too much about the price drop. I personally think it will go down some but at a recent meeting I heard that prices will do one of two things... Go up or Go up.
The first reasoning was that the amount of potsmokers with double with pot friendly bars popping up and even the square law abider toking down. People will be moving here, vacationing here.. restaurants will have weed products... just insanity. Anyway, thats A LOT more demand. AND how many people are going to jump right in and produce TOP quality on any sort of level. I personally believe that it takes a solid 8 years of growing experience to consistently crop top quality in any quantity.
The second is that the taxes on the grass are just going to get straight passed to the consumer. Thats how it works at retail. People aint going to be growing this bud for much less than we already sell it for...
3000 - 3400 for A+++ Kush is already i joke. I know. It fucking sucks.
I am still voting for the legalization b/c its the right thing to do but my thought is that after a slight decline initially the price will stabilize back about where it is now... but the disadvantage is that consumers will have to pay a heavy tax to buy retail.
btw, i was easilly getting $5,600 per # on the East Coast. I went with one person that would have the loot the next day without fail. If he ever chose to step down there would be a line of people to choose from next. Now for 3k you have to shop it around because most places only like to have a Q of each type on hand. Blahh.
