C99xDC mom is HUGE. Ive cut off a set of fan leaves bigger than my hands at every internode, and her stem is too thick consider bending (it was too thick very early in her life) Trainwreck is in the front, GWS in the back

Heres the trainwreck. Again, very airy with alot of stem

Heres my 2 GWS all twisted and tied down around eachother

Hey brother, awesome work! Have you considered a scrog grow in there?

Thanks man I appreciate it. I have considered it, but I like the variety this set up allows me. I honestly think I could get better yields with a scrog, but for now, Im too stubborn to try.

If I can set back enough of a stash to hold me off til harvest, I might try to run some SkunkxHaze with a scrog in there.

We'll just have to see how things go in the next few months. Stay tuned my friend

Pimped my Cab today :moon: Put in a second air pump finally. Now each pot has thier own air outlet.

Word of advice for small scale DWC growers . Be wary of using a "T" fitting to split a single air outlet for 2 pots. Whichever airstone has the least resistance will get most, but more likely ALL, of the airflow. Resistance can quickly result through nute clogging, but I even tried using 2 BRAND NEW stones, and could barely get airflow through one of the stones.

In hindsight, it makes perfect sense, very logical. But I had been using them for a few weeks, also some on the last cycle, without any problem. Well the story is, I was doing my water change the other day, and found some itty bitty floating larvae in the GWS pot. Well I dumped the pot, rinsed the roots, and did so the next 2 days. Well come to find out, the GWS was getting no air through her stones. Not sure how long it had been clogged.

Well they are still maturing decently, but the roots are pretty ugly brown. Im just going to ride it out and hope for the best, but Im not too worried about it.

Anyways, on to the pics:

Not too bad, but its a bit cluttered for me. Still not too crowded for the girls though

C99xDC is overgrown to the left, And and a beautifully trained Trainwreck to the right.

2 SSSDHxG13Haze being sexed on the left, and my 2 GWS girls on the right, filling out nicely

FloraNectar doing a GREAT job, way better resin production on the GWS, my finger were sticky icky after a little bit of trimming

hope your enjoying :tiphat:

That cola is looking frosty dude.

I have a bit more space than your cab and I was thinking I might be better off with 2 gallon buckets, does the size of the bucket really make a difference in yield?

Cheers.

Thanks brother, they're looking better every day

As for your pot sizes: in my case, bigger pots would not help. I don't veg at all, so as soon as a few roots pop out of the netpot, I stick em in the flower room. I can have 2 plants sharing a 1g pot and still have some comfort room in the pots come harvest time. The biggest factor will be how long you plan to veg you ladies. If you veg for 2 weeks or less, then I say you wont have to worry about your pots affecting your yeild, your roots will have all the room they need and more.

For a good reference, check out pipedreams grow. He grows nice big plants with a 150w and pots less than 1.5g in a full wardrobe. So I say if you plan on growing your ladies any smaller than his, you are more than safe with the 1g pots

Thanks alot guys. 10k views and counting. I hope I can help out anyone in need of guidance or ideas. Im now growing much more than I had anticipated, which is just enough to keep me from having to deal with the drug trade. Self sufficiency it very possible in minimal space, and I hope I can help spread the word.

Heres to 10k more guys, thanks again your kind words.

Well I cant wait to find a good SSSDHxG13H mom. Im 90% sure one of the currently growing plants is male, and Im unsure about the 2nd.

After the GWS gets chopped, I'll be sexing my 2 PPPs. And if a few more harvests go well, then I'd love to free up half of the cab for a nice, long SkunkxHaze run, under a screen or just tied down and trained really well.

I love my HPS man, I ran CFLs as well, and I just think the single HPS bulb is so much easier to control heat with. Ive seen some serious buds grown with CFLs though, and I cant deny their users any credit, but in the long run the HPS was actually cheaper and more temp friendly than my load of hardware needed for the CFLs

Pulled out a male SSSDHxG13 today. Pretty sure the other is a male as well. Oh well, I have one more thats sprouted and ready to sex, and 7 more seeds if they fail.

Im thinking about throwing together a temporary space for some males, just want to grow them long enough to get some pollen. Id love to try my hand at making a few seeds. Nothing I want to take too seriously, but Id love to have a few crosses of my own just to try out

Thanks brother :tiphat:

Im germing 2 of skunkmans SkunkxHaze now. I really want to get some good, mind expanding genetics in the cab, and I think by the time they get germed and sexed, I'll have enough supply set back to have a longer flowering girl in the cab.

Smoke report time!

Strain: Green House Seed Co'sTrainwreck

picture.php

Appearance: Buds cured to a nice light green, scattered with light orange pistils. Trichs are very tiny, bud nearly completely cover the buds. If you look in very closely, you'll see the light green color comes from the spread of trichs over the buds that are too tiny to catch your eye initially. As GHS states, the calyxes are huge, which means lots of foxtails and airy buds, but unfortunately, very stemmy buds.

Aroma: Buds smell nice and fresh, slightly floral. Take a longer whiff and sweet citrus smells, mostly lemon and lime, overtake your nostrils. Its like sticking your nose in a jar of lemon candy

Taste: This is a nearly dangerous smoke. Slightly harsh on the inhale, and like a lemon cinnamon explosion on exhale. Take too big of a hit, and you can feel the inside of your face fill with smoke, your sinuses will burn, and you'll be coughing til you can get to the fridge and get a drink.

High: The high hits you pretty quickly. Its a little confusing, leaving you a bit dizzy in the brain. Itll zone you out for the first 15 minutes, and then pick you up right afterwards. I can get up and do something for a little bit, but then soon after, my eyes get heavy and I want to sit down. Its a rollercoaster, maybe even a train wreck, of a high.

As much as I enjoy this strain, Im not so sure its right for me. Anyone who enjoys a cool, calming strain will surely enjoy this. I have another one close to harvest that I will cure and enjoy, and let that determine whether or not I will keep her in my garden.
