Guana is such a beautiful park, one of my all-time favorite places to fish. If you enjoy that type of water I would highly recommend launching at Favor Dykes State Park into Pellicer Creek and heading west. I've caught large mouth bass, bream, sheepshead, trout, redfish, mangroves and even snook in this creek. Just don't go east from the ramp into Pellicer flats because the H20 gets real skinny and most boats will get hung up in the mud.

How in the fuck do you pull something of that big without illegal means? How do you catch a 73 year old with nine plants in a op of this scale? I wonder if the IRS and HS are going over our bank statements for online and cc purchases?

MagniKhan- That is some serious BS. I am so sick of the media echoing the lies and distortions of the police. The comments on the Tampabay.com article show much more support for legalization & decriminalization than prosecution. I love my home state and choose to live here but if we keep going in the wrong direction in regards to cannabis laws then I will be forced to pack up and leave. I hate to be a Debbie Downer but damn, its just not worth it anymore.

Thanks for the tip. Nice catch!! We got here late so didn't get much fishing done. We just cast from the shore at the dam for tonight. Pulled a 17" + trout. waiting on my buddy to finish cooking it now. I left my camera link cable at home so I'll have to post pics later. We'll be out a little before 5:00 tomorrow morning. Shootin' for red bass. Any recommendations for bait/rig TeaHateSea? Right now I'm using a double leader with mullet, squid, and shrimp.

Looks like the storm troopers are busy rounding up new victims for their terrorism...and filthy lucre for the state coffers.
If I could, I would remove all cops, all armies, and rulers from the planet...so the rest of us can live our lives in peace without these terrorists, murderers and megalomaniacs. They assume that without enforcing their brand of 'order', we disintegrate into chaos. They have even programmed us to believe this and this is their biggest crime...convincing us that we need them.

But just when you think you have it figured out something like "Operation Eagle Claw" happens.
Supposedly, it was to to keep our neighborhoods safe because of all the violence that accompanies grow houses.
I'm just dumb struck by it. God knows how many gun fight there are in front of clandestine operations like a private grow.

Hey THS, great looking fish. Since we analyse everything else on here...How was the fight on the red compared to the black? Do you tend to over bait or under bait? Should you let it flop around on the deck for a while before throwing it in the cooler or just cook and eat it right there? Should you move the bait closer or farther away from the bait? Should you put them in a bigger cooler if their tails stick out of the lid? We need to know these things. LOL
I think the biggest problem with this "crack down" is the economy. All the cops and politicians need to justify their over inflated budgets and sense of self importance. What better way than to target easy, low potential for violence crimes where you can also raise funds through seizures, fines. I wonder how many people will lose their homes, cars and everything they've worked for just because they smoke a little weed? They've already cracked down on all the other violent offenders...non seat belt wearers, not having your fishing license in your possesion, tag light violation, etc. etc. etc
JMHO, I guess they aren't happy with all the property and sales taxes and registration fees that I pay.

Congrats on the trout Kush Farmer. Sorry if I'm posting too late for my input to be of help but here's what's been working for me the past few weeks. I take advantage of the calm mornings and toss topwaters like the the Zara Spook, Top Dawg and the ever faithful MirroLures. For live bait I've been using mud minnows and finger mullet either on redhead jigs being cast towards grassy banks or oyster shoals. I also use a very standard inshore bottom rig like this:
12lb. test line, 1-4oz weight depending on current, florocarbon leader about 6-10 inches long and #1 or 2 Owner circle hooks. You can let this rig sit on the bottom or slide it along like a jig.

LOL THS, I used to mate on a charter boat and I could rig baits better than everybody. Skip used to call me the "Master baiter". I'm hoping it was for my skills not because I was married for 18 yrs.

On a side note, since this is a cannabis forum. An update on my grow. Nine days into flower and the kids haven't shown sex yet. But are getting bigger and bushier. Except for Skinny, it seems to be lagging behind the others. All of the ones that I topped seem less dense than the one that I didn't touch. Do you think that leaving them alone will produce bigger buds or will topping them produce more less dense buds? Or do you think I have a stain that likes to be left alone?
Plus, I took 4 clones from each of the kids. And it looks like the smaller the cut, the faster they root. One batch of cuttings from 8 days ago, 2 of the cutting with only 1 set of fan leafs is showing roots already, but 2 of them with 2 sets of fan leaf haven't. Anyone ever seen this before or do you think it's just a quirk?
I don't know what I like better, fish porn or bud porn. All I know is I like anything that begins with the letter "F".

Give them some time to restructure and they will usually fill out within a week or two
In my opinion it's entirely dependent on the strain and environmental factors. There are plenty arguments on various forums supporting, as well as negating the benefits of topping but I usually try a few different techniques to see what my strains respond best to. Usually takes a few grows of the same strain to maximize my yield though.
That's pretty awesome because after all these years of tinkering in my gardens I still have trouble rooting smaller cuttings. I usually take 4 inch cuttings from lower branches with two nodes and have great success but anything smaller seems to take too long or just doesn't root. What is your cloning method? I would love to find out what I'm doing wrong with my smaller cuts.

I don't have any special skills. Just read alot of thread on this site and just got luckky I guess. Must have a horseshoe up my ass.
As to the cloning I read the thread by JJScorpio. It's a long thread but has lots of great info. He has a real nice easy to follow process for cloning. I just followed his example, just used MG organic potting mix, some rooting hormone from Lowes, a plastic tub by Rubermaid and a couple of 23 watt CFLs outside of the tub. I misted the inside of the tub maybe every other day. And misted the clones whenever they looked thirsty. Bout drove me nuts because I'd check them out a couple of times a days and would get excited when I thought I saw roots.
Turned out to be creases in the clear cups I'm using. Finally this morning I noticed one of the creases got longer than it was yesterday. Now I'm pumped. This is definetly addicting.
