There is no way in hell anyone pulled 6pds from a 1000 watt light. I had several 6 pound outdoor plants last year and they looked like volkswagons. They wouldnt of fit under 3 1000s

lol back to the 6 pounds per 1000w. First I think it would be interesting if some crazy scientist on here could calculate if that is even possible. If 1000W of light has enough energy to produce 6 pounds of bud. Then if it is scientifically possible I wants to know how to do it! Damn I would love to be producing 6 pounds per 1000w. I would need a 400w and I would be one happy grower. Best I have heard and an actually method described was 10 pounds off a coliseum with three 600w. No pictures or proof to back it... But at least the person described how they did it. One grower I knw says he is able to get 3gms a watt but when I pressed him on how he as doing it he didn't have anything to say. Some friends have been to one of his grows, but he said that that one didn't produce that well because the ceiling was to low. Needless to say I don't really buy it. Just like everything I think a lot of people want to say they caught the biggest fish. I say if you can get 6 pounds a light tell us how. Let us put your method to the test. That is how science works. Someone says the results they got and described exactly how and a bunch of people go out and see if they get the same. If not than you either got a total fluke or are lying. So Dr. Dank I don't even care to see pics but if you know how your friend did it please share with us so we can all learn to be better growers. After all that is what these forms are about.

Well to start for the best yields, a vertical vs a horizontal style grow is going to generally produce much more bud per watt of light input but can be somewhat challenging as well as far as an easy set-up that is easy to manage. So vertical style lighting to make full use of the entire 360 degree light output and good high yielding genetics, CO2 supplementation, proper PH levels and ideal temps/humidity are all good places to start.

Next, mono-cropping (running just one strain) from clones of a known high yielder will ensure uniformity and a more predictable yield outcome than running plants from seed.

I guess this is all basic stuff if you grow for yield, I am more geared towards head-stash personally so if I grow it's to smoke it not to sell it. Happy soon to be 4/20! :joint:

SOTF what do you think of chimeras C4? cotton candy(sweettooh) X shishkaberry

I think it's a good second choice to the originals, for now at least! Anything with Sweet Tooth in it seems to have a great buzz that is very comfortable with some very high yielders to be found as well. Personally, I would go with the Dutchgrown Sweetest Cindy cross of true SOL Sweet #3 and the potent Cindy 99 over the C4. The LUI 13 looks to have some great potential as a monster yielder too. :tiphat: :blowbubbles:

If you can find it, Blockhead handsdown will out yield anything. Breeder Steve knew what was up. Just keep an eye out for mold cause its so dense. Shishkaberry is not to shabby either.

SOFT..No disrespect intended but I have grown SWT#3 and many Swt#3 crosses. They have all tasted great but are medium potency at best.I take my girls into at least 25% amber trichs? Any telltale signs on the strong pheno? I'd like to have some swt#3 flava but need strong meds..thx

South...I'm with ya on the Shisk.I had monster girls outdoors with the shisk and they were so triched out I was in awe.Legs to the high too.Nice purple hues too...mmm.

I lost most of my pictures somewhere along the way and I don't take new ones anymore, but here's a for example. This little bitch was grown in a bathroom cabinet under two tiny CFL's with no ventilation and very little on the nut side, I just got the grow itch again one day in college and popped a few seeds. This is at 25 days flowering(notice how far along she is for 25 days) and I think I yielded around 2 ounces of rock hard boggle after all was said and done, those tops all ended up being around 5-7 grams each. Again I know this is not the best example, but if given the proper lighting and attention this strin will do wonders I promise. Also this pheno, which was more on the BG side of the cross finished in around 48 days. I have an NL pheno that is done done in 45 days.
couldn't get the link too work. How long did you veg?

I've seen 3 lbs / 1kW from NL #5, Big Bud, Blueberry, Island Sweet Skunk, and I'm sure many others are capable of those yields as well in my system... it is organic soil, about 50 gal / plant and 4 plants per 1 kW.

pic is blueberry...

I have Outback running now. She IS a beast. Too bad the cut I kept is a PM magnet. I just crossed her to a Nightmare Diesel male. I plucked all the seeds today. We'll see what I end up with.

Biggest yielder I've ran to date was Appalachia 6 by High&Lonesome. And yeah, she had quality too. Sadly, those pics were on another comp. that died.

Not to add fuel to SOTF420 continuous repping of SOL, but the OGKush x Blue Satellite 2.2 is gonna get some runs after my harvesting this last one. She yielded great with high quality too.

hey PROGRO.
ya man she is a beast and i miss her already for sure, stoked to hear you say NIGHTMARE DIESEL there on deck for me next...got them in the same package i got the OUTBACKS in so hoping this one will YIELD like the OUTBACK, been trying to find background on the NIGHTMARE ummm do you know what she is made from...

my guess would be NIGERIAN NIGHTMARE and some type of DIESEL...
peace bro.

I don't know what she's made of either. My guess on the diesel part would be Sour Diesel. Nothing but a guess though.

I know I have high hopes for this cross. I have a buddy doing a test grow for me now. Just cracking the seeds. The Nightmare looked ALOT like Sour Diesel to me. The Outback is ridiculously vigorous. Nothing that I've grown has displayed this much vigor in all areas of growth--not just height.

I'm glad to see someone else running these. Do you plan to keep a male of that Nightmare? Inquiring minds want to know.....hehe.

The biggest buds I have ever seen on a big plant were from a Sweet Tooth #3 and were almost the size of a 5 gallon jug this is not exageration either some of them grow some crazy big colas. I have to find that picture.

yes, i think you do need to find that pic

... does something smell funny?

Sweet tooth is not the most potent of strains but the high it has is very uplifting mood wise. When i had 4-5 strains around to smoke my friends always wanted the tooth. I got huge yields from SS Chronic but the high was very one dimensional and blah. Best yielder ever for me was from NL5X Golden Burmese and I haven't seen that around in a while

yes i do my friend i have room to keep two males each round, this round its going to be the NIGHTMARE and the MEMY BLACKBERRY...the others in this grow include STRAWBERRY DIESEL--AFGHAN BERRIES--BERRY BASTARD....this should be a very large yielding and purple as hell grow for sure....

the AFFI BERRIES are totaly purple and the BERRY BASTARD is another one of my strains, its RELATED to the PURPLE BASTARD i did a few years back...AFGHAN BERRIES * PURPLE BASTARD==BERRY BASTARD...

heard great things about these STRAWBERRY DIESEL's i hear they yield very good WE SHALL SEE soon enough...going to make fresh MEMY BLACKBERRY and fresh NIGHTMARE DIESEL's F2's with a few crosses...

i have on hand from the last grow some BASIC DIESEL pollen aswell as some RAIL-LINE pollen which will get used in the next grow aswell..
peace bro:dance013:
