You know I looked at that link and there is younger staffordshire bull terrier, these are kinda like pits but smaller right? That might be good for me cause I don't have a big backyard.

just like a APBT make sure to do the proper checks , temperment/ bloodline/ if you get 1 from a shelter find out as much as you can about her/him eg. why its in the shelter batterd bog?fightingdog? ect ect...just like APBT these dogs can be very dangerous (in the wrong hands).....
i love all kinda dog , but where am from you get all the local junkies/traps/so called hard nutts running around with staffs (all sizes and colours) without leads/collers...just last week my wife was out with our dog (boxer) when a staff came running round the corner , hackels up on its back ready to attact. if it was not for the wife screeming at the dog when it was coming towards my dog( it stopped coming forward) i think there would of been a fight..the guy then ran round the corner and grabbed it, he then got a mouth full of abuse of the wife lol... lucky it wasent me or the dog would of got a kick to the throat and fist in the face of the owner...its not the first and am sure it wont be the last...
i know its wrong but am starting to hate that breed of dog...dont get me wrong there are a few kicking about that a cracking looking dogs with good owners. but there are way more bad than good...

Yea, the more of these kennel sites I look at the more turned off I am by the ones with lame ass music on them that don't even attempt to present themselves professionally. I didn't even hear the song on pitfall until just now, lame.

No ,it's the breeding practices. The thug image is a turn off too. It's guys like that that give the breed it's horrible reputation. All these 'fancy' lines, gotti, razor's edge etc, etc, are some of the most over bred dogs in the world. Truth be told most are treated like shit, and when they can't breed anymore they are done away with. Dogs aren't a business, I'd never buy a dog from someone who see's them as such.

Yes this is what an APBT should look like. The short fat unathletic one's you see on the thug sites is an overbred poor example of a pit, bred only for money.

He's 60.8 lbs @ 14 months by the way (weighed at the vet two days ago).
