are you all daft!?! ive been growing my short riders for 68 days now they are 2-3 weeks from harvest anyone who says they arn't auto flowers really needs to reassess their growing because from 26-28 days they all flowered on 24 hour light cycle they are one of the longest auto flowering starins out there im sure i could still leave them for another 4-5 weeks but im not about to risk a hermi outbreak they need special care from other auto flowering strains very dependant on the size of the containers there in my tallest is almost 3ft and packing on hard if put into a special box with 2+ft for root room on each plants these would yeild an oz without a worry and if you would like to state a fact make sure that your average temp is above 75F becauze these little shits hate the cold, i will upload some pics to you guys.. and for the record i would like to say i HAVE NOT used anything except love and water my next run will consist of a specialized box sepcifically for the strain and fertilizer seeing as had i even used a tiny bit of fert near the beggning they would be pumping a hell of alot more then what they already are the strain depending on the seed is either 50/50 indica to sative of 30/70 indica to sativa seeing as they still had a huge strech in flowering

bullshit. did nirvana send you here because they can't get rid of any of the seeds?

Maybe new batches are been reworked?
I've read some positive reports on sr recently. A test would be useful.

it's been 11 months since i bought mine. so it is very possible that they worked the bugs out but i would never waste my money on short riders again. even if there is proof that they are autos. i was very glad gypsy made up for mine with some papaya seeds.

just came back to this post...you shouldn't call bullshit on something you don't know man, if you honestly don't like em then gtfo of the autoflower strains. the short riders them selfs are actually completely different one of my buddies has a set on the go now as well higher temps then what i used popped their first preflowers at 23-28days unless you guys got shafted hard on your seeds you seriously shouldn't be growin anything. in my opinion this is the first domesticated weed strain out there and by that i mean completely dependant on human nurter they dont put forth effort growing there roots outwards and the only proper way to grow this strain is in long slender tubes, but even still no better then auto ak's my biggest ladie yeilded 37g's others varied between 20-30 right where i figured my numbers shoulda been you can dis it all you want but if your a hash lover and you wanna make some crazy awsome hash in a short period of time THIS IS YOUR PLANT!!!
and no im not affiliated with nirvana in anyway shape or form i just liked the name and i was high and needed a screen name,
also yes i know im a hypocrite for saying this but way to be an ass you coulda maybe asked why i said why i did or got me to drop more extensive info but insted you just had to be ignorant.

Short rider Information

I started my short rider outdoors about 3 months ago and one thing i noticed is they grow slow, But they have a strong Skunky smell. The problem im having is i don't know if there ready or not the budes are getting tight and the ends of the sucker leaves are turning yellow on the tips. There is about 1 oz of good bud and i just don't know if i should harvest or fertilize and let keep growing??? Need Help

Short Rider

I put down some fem seeds of Short Rider and they have been down for about 3 months and they smell skuncky and are only 2 feet high but have very dense buds. My question is when the tips of the shade leaves start to turn yellow and rot. Does this mean i need to pull them or do i need to fertilize? I will post picks since there is limited information on this one.

The shortriders from nirvana I got have been pretty much what they promised. Small bushy plant that autoflowers. In my opinion it's great for begginers like myself, the yield may not be that huge but as a begginer strain it's pretty decent, especially since it does autoflower.

All the shortrider plants I've grown ( 4 of them ) I've kept on 24h light schedule from head to start, and they did flower after about 3 weeks since they were seedlings, even with no dark periods.

Just sayin.

hi mate, which size pots you've used?

i've nine auto short riders 36days old ,in 8 litre pots and couple of them seem to be root bounded , appeared in drainage holes , all of them in flowering period so i'm hesitating to repot ,any advice ?

i've never had a noticeable difference in yield when transferring a plant during flowering. so, i would say go for it, just make it quick.

i'll use this analogy........it seemed as if he/she was a scorned girlfriend yelling at an ex because one had bad mouthed something he/she so dearly loved.

If each plant is in an 8 l pot I'd say you're good, though it could depend on how much light you have.

I've grown my short riders in 5 l pots, only one per harvest, but I only have a small stealth cab going on for me so 5 l pots work for me.
