The Perfect Hi-Tech Grow/Bloom Rooms. Money to burn, U Design It!

L

LolaGal

OK, Let's pretend I have money to burn. I want the latest, most expensive, high tech growroom setup there is!!!

What is the most cutting edge equipment? Who Makes It.

2 10x15 foot grow rooms are empty, so tell me what to put in there.

what do ya'll recommend?

A light, fresh air, and water is all you need my friend.

oh! pshaw! you are no fun!

OK, here is the truth. I must spend this small inheireted fortune on grow equipment, or else I cannot claim the $40,000,000.00 Granny left me in her will.

She was very eccentric and insists in the will that I must buy up a bunch of gadgets and whatnots.

:)

Ok. First you find a cave full of bats... and you have a lavish mansion built above it, requiring numerous sub-cellars that stretch down into the 'bat cave'.

Get your able manservant (who's something like an uncle to you) to handle the details with the contractor while you drive around in your ridiculously exotic sport car bemoaning the loss of your acting cred.

Fill your 'bat cave' with high tech super-computers and (for some reason) a digital DJ setup and then program your computers to find the best solution, whilst you fight villains in extravagantly stylized full-body armor.

oh, I already got that cat woman outfit. Body armor clashes so with that outfit and the heels and all.

Besides, that bat cave won't fit into 2 10x15 foot rooms... hahahaha

Muahahaha!!!

Ok Lola, the highest-tech thing I can think of:

W-shaped stadium with tiers of 9 MPB buckets per incline, 4 1KW lights per valley water-cooled with Fresca sol tubes or the like, big water chiller outside for the lights, and a smaller one for the reservoirs, water-cooled CO2 generator on tap water to waste, giant RO filter, growtronix automation and sensors, remote-controllable PTZ video cameras in each room, use my automatic res topoff system and boom, you've got the highest-tech thing I can think of. Would probably cost you about $3k per light, but I bet you could hit 5# per light with the right strain.

Veg rooms should be just a scaled-down version of the above. If you still wanna spend more offset your grow with solar power, and dig 3-4 geothermal loops for cooling instead of chillers. That will add another couple hundred g's to it if desired. ;)

OK, now I can work with suggestions like these... good ideas all, could you recommend specific brands like the
Fresca Sol Lights?

thanks.

oh, the solar power and stuff like geothermal is out. Let's keep it under $20K.... hhee heehee..

but yes, those are all good suggestions Lazy. thanks.

PTZ cameras? I forgot to ask what those were and what those are for? so I can look at my grow in France or something? lol

I am going to have to disagree with Lazy. Most of that stuff automation, PTZ cameras, is just to make the growers life easier. It isnt really going to make things grow better

Water cooled lights, if you had the money, that really would not be the best option. I think the water in the tube blocks some of the light. I think you would be better off running bare bulbs, lots of fans, and AC. Just my opinion

Lola YOU are no fun. You said money to BURN, Granny left you with $40M !!

Make granny PROUD. Buy one of these !!!

http://www.missilebases.com/properties

Seriously, some of those are cheap

In all honesty, 20K to fill 2 10x15 rooms is not a lot of money. Thats around 8-10KW per room depending on set up, how much floor space you use etc. Plus construction costs of the rooms?

I think a vert grow would be cool. I always wanted to try it. The reason I never did is I didnt want to try something I never used before on a large scale op. Plus most vert grows use soil I think and soil is new to me.

Plenty of lighting, CO2, Good AC, Good DH. Spend your money on getting the environment right

You can hire someone who has experience in setting up these type of ops !!!:wave:

durn, I like a good joke just as much as the next fellow, but ya'll aint too much help you know.

Know I was just kidding about the $40,000,000, and the stuff about Granny.

But I really do want to know what is the most cutting edge equipment out there on the market right now.

come on ya'll.

Sentinel controllers and Lazy's post only 2 good suggestions in 2 pages.

I am not interested in hearing about how I should just grow naturallly with magic rays of sunshine and good vibes.

I want cutting edge Technology.... what about I C Maggers? I know you got all the answers...

Make a nice 10'x10' room. Dry wall the outside, insulate for heat and accustics, panda film on the inside. 2x 1000w, dehuey, AC, carbon filter + fan, fresh air fan, 3x 12" wall mounted oscilating fans. Next to that make a 8'x10' room, 1x 1000w MH, 2x T5 setup, short home depot cabinet in the corner with some 2' tube floros. (for cloning)

R/O water filter hooked up to a rez w/ float valve. Automatic Ph and ppm controller. Water chiller, 4 outlet air pump. Run some RDWC or ebb n flo setups. :) Thats what I would do to.

oh yea almost forgot... smoke detector and fire extinguisher(electrical).

Hey Lola, yeah $20K aint actually all that much hon, I've got more than that into my relatively-simple 16KW grow, and I haven't even bought the two big AC's, CO2, a big dehuey, or a trimming machine yet!

For $20K to fill two rooms you're gonna need to do it on the cheap. If you don't want to do a vert I'd highly recommend the Tropf Blumat autowaterers in soil or coco, they really are the bees knees!

well you say high tech, money to burn, then you say 20K. Big difference

I have set up 2 commercial ops, 20K isnt that much

I would try vert. Nothing high tech about it. 2 1000 hortilix bulbs as naked as a babys ass, with a big fan on the ground blowing up, tons of A/C, and Co2. DTW with coco.

All that high tech stuff isnt going to make your grow any better really. Its just going to make your life easier.

20 1000w bulbs @ 100 = 2000
20 1000w HPS ballast @ 100 =2000
2 chhc-1 @ 500 = 1000
2 Co2 gennys @ 500 =1000
2 24k BTU window units @500 = 1000 (you may need a Split unit or central A/C if not air cooling the bulbs
20 Hoods @ 125 = 2500
2 Can 150 w/ 12" fan = 1500
2 DH 800-3000

Thats 12000-14,000 right there

We havent even talked media, nutes, additives, cloning material,tables/buckets/pots, or costs for vert system, panda film, ducting for air cooling lights if using hoods, electrical upgrade, propane or Co2 tanks, scissors, ph meter, PPM meter, pumps, timers, fans.

We haven't even talked about a veg/mom room

Are the rooms built?

Seriously, is this just a pipe dream thread cause I don't need it. I have lived the dream, errr um nightmare.

But if you want serious, real sound advice about how to spend 20K on two 10x15 rooms, then let us know.

What type of grows have you down? soil, hydro, type of medium, style SOG, SCROG, etc

You really dont want to start a whole new style of growing IMO. You need to stick with what you know, and make your money back ASAP.
