63 Watt LED - Strawberry D-Lite & Satori Grow

Nice looking lady for sure. Looks like you've got her dailed in from every angle. I was just thinking, about how little you are spending on juice, compared to me. I'm jealous, my power meter is spinning like a top right now.

Fuzz420- Yea she seems to be coming along, but still needs to fill out a lot to match the performance of my old 150w.

Yesum- Man how are you running 5 plants under this light lol, mine got crowded with just three and only 20 days of veg. I'm sure your running smaller containers then I am however.Good luck with your grow man!!

ISP_Smoketrain- Thanks man. I don't know about dialed in though, i'd like her to be a lot more healthy and without deficiency's. And yea the lower power draw and less heat is certainly nice!

While i'm responding to some comments, i'd like to go ahead and add that I will have some SatoriXStrawberry D-Lite seeds. When that one sac had opened up, I gathered up what I could on my finger and then rubbed it on one of the buds. Sure enough the other day, I was inspecting my girl and saw some pods developing in that exact spot. I need to do some reading on males and how fast they will drop pollen and such. The male that opened up was real short for a male and developed fast or atleast I think it did. The other satori male I had, was probably in there for an extra ten days and was nowhere close to having developed pollen sacs.
If I end up liking the strawberry d-lite as much as I like satori, then I should certainly enjoy the cross :)

sounds like an interesting cross dude! is this your first f1? ide love to give those seeds a try, maybe we can exchange some seeds sometime :) i just love gettin new seeds :p

she is looking great man. i agree, not quite dialed in, but she is still looking very nice, what are you using for nutes?

christoph'sbud- It's my first time crossing anything and making seeds but it wasen't really planned. Wish I could exchange seeds freely, but with the current laws it makes it a little risky.

Alright guys i'm sure your all ready for an update. Everything's been going fine, we are into the last few weeks of flowering now. So it won't be long till we see how this little 63w performed. I still think the led is doing a great job, seems to be lots of trichs and the bud seems to be dense.

I think she's gotten a little bigger since the last time you guys saw her.

A little closer

'

Just a bit more

Here's a shot with the flash on, so you can see the trichs.

BL4ZE ON!!:rasta:

oh shit dude!! she has gotten alot bigger, and she is lookin delicious :D

cant wait too see some more, and hear the smoke report soon, how long as she been going for btw?

i really wanna hook up a LED light in my new PC, but still, not enough cash atm, i got other things to buy :p

hope too hear from ya bro

Im not trying to burst your bubble but that looks very fluffy with little to no calyxe swell at all. You should back off the N next time, they are suffering badly.

I looked over your thread just so I wasnt posting blindly but look how healthy your plants looked on your post from 5/2 -- They were fairly Healthy!!! Then your post on 5/9 you can see signs of N Toxicity, the plant is suffering badly at that stage. I would definitely feed WAY LESS next time.

Again just trying to help you out.

Cheers n puffs.

christoph'sbud - Thanks man. She's at 57 days right now and the breeder packs say 9 weeks. I normally let my plants go a week longer then what the breeders say but i'll check the trichs here in a few days.
I'm interested in seeing how you use the LED with your pc case.

stj2006- Nice to have you here and thanks for the comments. I'll try and get a comparsion shot, however this no can sized bud, it would be nice though :D

Nicoli- Nice to have you stop by. There's no hurt feelings here, everyone is free to their opinion and feedback can always be a good thing.

I will however share my side so that maybe we can figure out what went wrong.

As far as it being fluffy, I'm not saying it's the most rock hard bud, but compared to the satori i've been growing, which is sativa leaning, it's certainly more dense.

Now as far as health goes, the pictures your referring to were taken around the time the defiencey's started showing up. They had not been fed at all up to that point other then what's in my soil, which is ffof incase your curious. They continued to get worse and the first time I gave them a feeding was 2 weeks into flower. I used around 24-30 oz of water and a 1/8th tsp of Pure blend pro along with 1/8th molasses. I've used 1/8th of Pure BP a couple of other waterings. The only thing I use every watering is 1/8th molasses.
Like i've said i'm still new to this and there's plenty of growers on here well beyond my ability.

Alright guys i've finally got an update for you. I chopped down the strawberry D-Lite at 68 days. Wasn't all that impressed with the final result but hopefully the smoke will be alright.

Here she is right before the chop

And here she is after the chop. Didn't yield very much got 44.5g wet and left another 5-10 on the plant to let trichs finish. I figure it'll be about 15g dry.

And here's the girl I've kept hidden. I put one 8 mile high bean in my cab a while back, so she's been on 12/12 the whole time. As you can she's barely started to flower. I also started Lst on this one which will work better with the LED anyways

I agree with Nicoli...it is still a good effort but dial the feeding in and keep the lights a little closer (LED gives little heat overall so burnt colas shouldn't be an issue and this should help "tighten" up those buds a bit)...just a suggestion...I grow with 4x30 watt T12's and get wicked tight buds-any lights can grow....and there is not a huge variance to crystal ratio on the plant vs. HPS or Mh, of course I also use mild defoliation and root trimming techniques to allow more growth in smaller pots and a few naturally occurring nutrients within my feeding regiment...https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=182192
