About the cooltube; Maybe U can score a spare glass tube for a Hurricane-lamp. U know, a candleholder with a glasstube around it...put a pc fan at the end and Bob´s your uncle !
Also, while waiting for HPS, maybe you'd want to mount the CFL horizontally and jam something reflective above it, you´ll def see the difference....

Keep up the good job, we´re heading for our "free", homegrown quality stash, choosing our own strains and no more buying expensive smoke !!!!

well guys, looks like today is going to be shopping day, let me just lay down a list of materials in forethought.

-aluminum tape(2 rolls)
-5 CFL adapters
-some kind of grate
-a fairly large plastic container for my new DWC
-big air pump and all the accesories (from pet shop)
-carbon filter pads
-plaster board, or whatever the stuff GhostWolf used to make is light trap.
-more power bars
-new bulbs
-HPS flood light (if i can find a reasonable price)
-some kind of scrog screen.

hmmm... anything eles?

i can easily make another trip tomorow, and i would love some suggestions, gunna go girl watchin at the mall with my buddy

Looks nice and healthy.I was going to say theres a lot of unused space in there, but i see you will be getting a screen. Goodluck with your shopping adventure, i seen security lamps at lowes here from $60-150 with 70-150w hps and mh. It was hard finding the high wattage in the cheaper layout but i really didnt did to deep looking for one, i was looking for other stuff and the hps security lights caught my eye

wow thanks for the replies, i work hard all day, and i got ALMOST everything on the list, i got tons of stuff done, and im very proud of myself.

well im with my gf, and she is bothering me too get off. so i'll post back later with plenty a picture update on all of the work i got done

well guys its here is.

couple of pictures on my new box that ive finished setting up, i believe that there is some heat issues, but all boxes start off with some i spose. its just a matter of tinkering.

well, here she is, the new cab, with pk clone attachment!

ive gotten my power bars in, i managed to find the bulb to plug adapters, i bought 3 24watt soft white CFL's, and a new thermometer.

now here is what ive done for my prefilter.
ive taken a carbon filter pad and a pencil basket, and ive just put the pad inside and taped it around the edge, and attached it to the front of my PC. it fit pretty perfectly, and i think there is okay air flow, although i am unsure as of yet how its working.

i think the filter pad may be too big.

and last but not least, ive gotten a new dwc bucket, its pretty decent, with a snap down lid

i tend to procrastinate and do things at the last minute, and seem to have gotten fairly good at it.


i cant wait to hear what you guys think, is this a good amount of work for one day?

Looks nice and clean. Dont worry we all procrastinate. I know i took forever setting up my second pc, then all of a sudden i got it all together at once. Cant wait to see it get blown out

Yeah Chris, it´s not all bad, we need time to get things designed right, thinking about the process of building grow-space is a serious matter and should not be delt with in a too lightheaded way ! LOLL ! No, really, it takes a lot of thinking to get a good grow space, and you´ve done it !!

Hey your pc is looking great!! remeber not to mount your fans permanently yet so the new ones can be slapped in...
you could replace that big intake filter with something I use in my pc..its small, cleans all air coming in and there is no blockage of airflow..
anyhow, REALLY nice case..all the hard work will pay-off when your ladies are full of buds..
try to keep your plant as close to the lights as you can..it will stop the vertical growth..not much room in these pc's!!

im happy with my new PC, and its humming along nicely. i think the temperatures are still around 28, but it should be okay, i hope.

ive just got a little update on how my clone is doing, she is looking good, and hasent wilted at all, no humidity dome or anything, love this cloning methood.

hey Fuzz420, im currently just using the water methood, its so simply, that it works.

i can try to dig up the link to the method, but basically you just stick it in water and put it under very low amount of light and it will sprout some roots
