You topped these new ones? Be interesting to see how they do compared with your last two untopped.

Yeah, a ph pen is next on my list....what brand do you have?

Yes topped these two. I've got some greenhouse seeds fems to go into flower in a week or three. Depending on how these two BS perform will reflect how the greenhouse fems will be grown. I enjoy just leaving the plant to grow it's own shape then thinning out when the stretch is done.

Ph pen is a Adwa....cheap and cheerfull i think. I was given these from a friend who had to stop growing after a security breach. Even though they are cheap brand they helped fine tune things for real.

Thanks for the advice InPotiTrust. I took those pictures the day after repotting them and i did over water them. I'd also changed me potting mix slightly by having more soil in than i have previously.

I've noticed a couple of female flowers starting to appear 6 days into 12/12 on the unknown plant. Does this mean anything? Have I got a fast flowerer here?

It means it's a girl!!!!

Seriously, it probably just means the plant was pretty much mature when you put it into flower.

I don't know if there's any real correlation between time to first pistil and total flower period.

Just a quick tip for better light penetration, hang cfl's vertically, in a reflector the light gets bounced back and fourth between the u's...

You can hang the bulb in the middle, and centre plants around it, much more free light then...

Hate it when people jip cfl's, used properly the results can be truly stunning...

:)

Good growing mate...

420mellon....thanks for looking in. I hear what you are saying about light hanging. I'm happy with things the way they are. Thats a 300w light over 3sq foot and the reflector is of quality. The light will also sit within 3" of the canopy as well...I lift it up to take pictures.

I got a question for people....Do you leave your extraction running 24 hours?

Heres some pics from yesterday, 10 days of 12/12. The Lemon Skunk is also a female. They both seem to be enjoying their environment, lifting those leaves to the sky.....Got some 5" PC fans ordered and can't wait for them to arrive and get them installed.

Lovely looking plants mate, very healthy...

On extraction, i would say 24hr, but a little break would be fine, shouldn't hurt em one bit...

Running your extraction 24 hrs is not necessary unless the humidity is high, your just wasting your carbon scrubber's life

Once every 2hrs for 15mins is plenty, although you will want more during flowering

Nice healthy looking plants there:good:

They haven't stretched as much i would have liked.

Day 24 today and they'll be getting a high P guano tea at first light.

420mellon & Bush Dr - thanks for your thoughts on the extraction. I'm gonna run the extraction when the light is on.

More pics in a few days after they had a good feed.

Plants are looking very healthy!

I hear you on the stretch (or lack thereof)....I find it very tricky to know how long to veg stuff for to end up at the height you want after another couple of months in flower.

I guess that's probably the biggest benefit of running clones.....predictability of performance.

Have you run the Lemon Skunk before?

Thanks everyone.....Given them a guano tea tonight.

Blimey - Not run the Lemon Skunk before. It was a seed from a 20 bag of very enjoyable smoke. Tasted real lemony. I got 4 seeds in all and this one is the survivor.

I'm more impressed with the bag seed I got growing than the fem seeds I got in veg. The bagseed was less hassle through veg than the GHS fem mix. Put a Cheese & Trainwreck in to 12/12 yesterday, don't think I'll document these unless they pick up. They'll be the last fem seeds I buy.
