I GOT RAIDED!!

Good call good karma. They are reaching for straws now. Also by staying on trial your pd should be able to use discovery to find out who the informant is. That's what Pablo Escobar did and many others do to find out which bear shit in their buckweat. The DEA couldn't understad why none of Escobar's peeps would take a plea deal and do less time. What the DEA didn't know was that these people were doing a job. Their attorneys would use discovery to see who the informant was and then they would send this info down to Medellin where Escobar would put it all together. Very effective. Informers suck balls, I can't imagine how violated you must feel.

It will be easier for them to understand the presence of a shotgun with your military background and the fact that you live in the country, also a shotgun is alot different than having a handgun, a concealed weapon.

Def keep your scales elsewhere til harvest brother, if it's in the kitchen cupboard with no residue then it's harder to prove intent than in a garage or bedroom with baggies lying around.

I really think they will dismiss once the trial starts because aint no way a jury in california is gonna convict an ex marine on disability for growing mj, and like the other cat stated, the fact that your rec expired still doesn't invalidate your rec according to the legalese.

I did a dumbass thing 2 years ago and fell asleep in my truck trying to park near my house, with the engine running no less, I was tired! anyway, got woken up by a coupla cops, they searched me, found a lil paki I completely forgot I had with less than a quarter gram of blow in it, and hauled my ass to jail. They thought I was all drunk and whatnot but the urine test at county just showed mj in my system, no alcohol, no blow. I rotted in there from saturday till wed cuz they made my bail $55,000, transporting blah blah, which made it so high. They tried to hang a dui on me for just having mj in my system. I got the dui part dismissed when my attorney showed the judge my mj rec but there was still the possession thing. I know it was less than a quarter gram in there, I had this lil paki for ages, I know how much was in there, it was a dumshit thing to have in the first place but in the cops report he put down I had A GRAM AND A HALF. That's when I realized that the police are fucked.
They put me in prop 36 drug diversion and that's where i got even.

I could care less about the blow but I have to vape mj to help with ms symtoms and graves disease(hyper thyroidism) which got worse when I stoped vaping for 25 days after my arrest. the pee tests in prop 36 are supervised, they have a dude in there with you watching you pee into a cup n make sure nothing fishy goes on, what they didn't know is that I'm a damn good fisherman :) here's what I did.

I emptied out the smallest size Elmer's Glue bottle, wrapped it in black tape with a layer of auminum foil underneath, used a black sharpie to blacken the orange tip, and taped it to the inside of my pants filled with a friends clean pee. You can tape it upside down near the bottom of your zipper and just pull the nozzle out underneath your d*** when it's time to piss, and in the same motion you can easily open the nozzle with a quick turn. It totally looks like I'm just standing there holding my pickle and peeing into a cup but I'm actually got my device behind the pickle doing the peeing. The bonus is that the stream that comes out of that elmers bottle is exactly like the size of a piss stream. I did 30 supervised tests with a court officer right there, and 30 clean tests came back. It felt damn good to beat em. You will too. Kick ass in court bro. peace

(kinda) well the last time I went to court they added a felony charge and offered me time served plead to posession of over an ounce and 3 yes probation plus classes and a bunch of other shit I said no and the day before trial they offered me a $100 ticket no probation to walk away I said gimme my lights and $3280 back then they said well give you the money back plus intrest but not the lightsbut my pd said we could have a hearing with the judge to get my lights back and that I should take the deal so I did so I won kinda. And I do expect the judge to gimme my lights back because he is extremely nice and i always tell him have a nice day your honor and shit like that and he granted every request I had no problem even when bitch ass DA Would object so I'm sure il get em back but I'm just glad its over and it goes to show if you show no fear about going to trial you most likely will never have to just be smart minimize risk as much as possible, no baggies, pay owe sheets or stupid shit like that and you should be fine. Hell yes, wouldn't it be nice to read a headline that says something other then
"police shoot to death two dogs during raid"
"police shoot to death a 7 year old girl during raid"

How about

"Mom shoots police during raid"

Happy to hear things are going your way with the case, good deal.

Good news,
But you will never know who that informant was (or if he even ever existed in the first place).

No. no. and no.

The headline would more likely read "Mother and son fatally shot while local PD executed search warrant on large-scale residential marijuana grow-op; swat officer injured"

Do NOT take a plea. Even if it gets to court you always have the option, even after trial starts, to make a deal if it looks bad. but first you have to get your lawyer ALL the info that the state has so he can evaluate it.

Many times the state knows that they are bluffing and have no case and want to bully you intop a plea to make it an easy conviction. make them WORK for a conviction, if they are going to get one....do not give it to them. many times they will make a great deal at the end just to resolve it and avoid embarrassment.

insist that your lawyer prepare for a vigorous defense...focusing on probable cause issues with the warrant, checking the real status of any supposed informants, to see if they were reliable or just first time rats...it makes a difference.

You are not likley to get substantially more time for using your right to a trial...unless you have no legal defense that makes sense, the judge understands why you are trying to win. Only if the trial is a total waste of time and you are obviously guilty with no grounds for rejection of the warrant or other legal out..will the judge get pissed. In other words, if all a trial would accomplish would be to waste the states resources then you may get worse punishment. Courts understand fighting the facts, but once it is assumed you are guilty factually you get little sympathy from them.

But by all means take it to the brink at least so you get them exposed...their case may be a bluff. If they can't show probable cause the warrant will be tossed and you win.
