does the pineapple express smell anything like pineapple - or is that just marketing BS?
Smells like over ripe fruit. No real pineapple smell, but i've got 2 weeks to go yet.. I tell ya what.. sure is a pretty plant.. turning pineapple yellow in the pistils right now..

6 out of 10 of the seeds i made popped. not bad, i should be able to find acouple females. i only got one of the skunkXc99PR i hope shes female. and comes out well. im kind of bummed i only got one good seed, i was expecting that to be a really good cross.

still pretty early in flowering, i just sexed my ohazexskunk1, and grape sorberts. i cant wait for the finish. these are my next big batch from seed. it will b nice to pull a qp per plant like i did the last run from seed.

I am starting out on bag seed.. so the express whould be a dream.. but expermenting now.. Question.. Do compact flurescents add up? I have HPS but haven't hooked up worried about power useage.. so have 4 t8s now, and thinking on adding what they say is 300w bulb but uses 65w, Iam I wasteing my time ? Is a 400w HPS hands down the way to go??

id say, use the floro's to veg, and flower with the HPS.
what size space are you in?
how many plants?

4x3 planing on 4x4 got 2 desent size plants 12" (rough shape) and like a dozen 6" ers (doing good).. thanks for repling thats what I been reading flurs to veg.. never flowered before always had to kill plants do to moves =( now .. thanks for helping.. nother ques. how can I ge nice bushy plants min all have miiniaml branches pleas ehelp have 6"ersin soil 12" just changed to DWC bubble bucket Thankspleasehelp

will prob run at 240v for extra savings but need a 240v timer thank again
top them on the 4th or 5th node. give them 2 weeks to recover. then flip them.
ive been growing from seed again recently. i cant wait to finish them!

Thanks fat blunt, your talking about my seedlings right and growing bushy plants? let me break it down, 4th or 5th node (branch?) recover meaning wait for top leaves to come back? and flip them meaning clone them? hope not being a pain reading day and night .. till I think I get it, but when the thumb starts to get green is when ya learning.. if you can continue helping thanks think with the 4x4 grow area... jump to 400 hps and forget 250? or will 250 do?
on the topping.. yes, you top the main stem. and yes, the recover is when the leaves grow back and u can see where you topped.
by flip, i ment, flip to flower... like flip the lights to 12/12.
as for lighting, id put the 400w on it. that should give you enough coverage.

kind of depends on strains.
when you top it will stunt it alittle. taking its energy and using it to rebuild where you cut. but this makes a single cola dominant strain, have 2 main colas.
F.I.M.ing it will make 4 main colas. FIMing is alittle harder. easier to fuck that up. i suggest you top.

Thanks man, starting to get the idea a bit, just read the tutorial on pruning and wow learned alot , all your saying makes exact sence .. I am just begining so trying to do as little as I can to not motify my plant and let it grow to 18 inches (recomended from what I read) then flower, but after reading and you explaing I need to get more branches for more colas and forget about the height getting there faster, I thank you for takeing the time.. I am shure I will not be leaveing any time soon from here, maybe I can take a pic of plants and you can tell me how I am doing? embarrased now at setup so will wait on pics and clean up my grow room thanks if any more info please share

last question of night probibly whould be.. I am useing bag seed, is there any way shape or form of knowing what I have?? or am growing roughly.. IO read about sativa leaves are thin and idica are broad and fatter, but as for strain I am lost any help?
itd be tough to figure out. you can identify, indica or sativa. do you have any clue to the type of weed it came from? how was the smoke?
my first grow was bag seed. from some mids crap. obviously grow outdoors. so when i grow it indoors, they naturally came out better. like alot better.
