That's monster cropped as in Kodiak's version in the sticky of his? I've read that post before but just noticed the "monster cropping" part last night. It's cool to see someone doing it and it looks like you've got it to work exactly as he described.

I'd toss the freak, too many great genetic phenos to keep a problem child, although you obviously are smitten by it. No problem, I've been there. The hermie tendencies and the 4-5 inches between nodes would be the deciding factor for me.

Good stuff man, keep em coming.

yea that stretch is disgusting and as soon as I find a plant as vigourous Im definately tossing her. She has a sister that I believe is definately a hermi girl like freaktard. She also stretches insanely once put into flower hermis a bit less and has exact same taste. She doesnt finish quite as fast or have quite as fast of growth. The bud itself on both is extremely frosted and tastey (bubblegum). The sister to freak tard was topped right before I stuck it in flower Ill try to get some pics of her up as shes on about 1 month now of flowering. Shes stretched a ton with 4+2 tops.. The sister to freaktard doesnt have the unusual growth like freaktard either just stretchy with exact same taste. It seems so far Im leaning towards a paticular plant that is very lemony as my favorite. Its structure is just awesome bordering on perfect imo (non-sog/scrog). Ill try to get some pics of this second run of the rest of the girls up when I get a chance. Ive also recently taken clones from my friends moby dick (dinafem) cut and am ready to stick the clone he gave me into flower so Ill update that as she gets frosty.

The three super silver haze (ghs) that I have going are doing quite well one being more vigourous than the others should be ready to take atleast 1 clone very soon. Ill likely stick in flower once Im confident its rooted well into its last pot (5ish gallons).

The training technique thread is the bomb ive used all methods except supercropping and eventually intend to try it. I find cropping a wonderful way to increase harvest and slow down veg time. I decided very late to take the TW clone (was in flower lower arm little buddage). I knew it would be supercropped and it was already a tad floppy so I gave it some support. If I had done a bit of work cleaning it up the yield would have been better but I still pulled over 1.5ounces off her.

Yea I blame the parentage for the trainwreck issues Ive had wich I dont think is a big deal. Ive repotted the most vigourous of the SSH and can take 2 clones anytime and stick in flower. Trying to decide if I want to top it or not. With the time these take to flower Im not sure how much room I want them to take up. I dont have anything to stump the stretch... unless someone can suggest something locally available. (no hydro shop near)

Out of the 8 girls(querkle) 2 definately toss nanners unfortunately they are 2 of the most vigourous. On the fortunate side I think 2 are solid keepers till I find better with similair taste. One is lemony with a wonderful structure the other is the bubblegum flavor with decent yield. Niether of these 2 have tossed any nanners at all. The rest are probably on there last run right now as Im looking to make some room. I have a ton of genetics in my fridge...

Nice grow and great pics Texicannibus.

Very interesting the Freaktard is I must say.

However, with all those other awesome genetics I would toss those chicks with dicks and get down on the sour strains.

Thanks OMM, well I pulled freaktards sister down was tired of picking male flowers and didnt want to risk the crop she was early but I was out... so it works.. Im rather suprised the buzz isnt more up considering when I pulled her. Anyways the mostly dried bud pic will be of her.

The querkle I mentioned I feel like is a keeper is super lemony with a wonderful structure both in plant and bud. Atleast I favor it. This one will continue to run for awhile in my garden.

Closer up of the same keeper lemony pheno.

Id guess shes around day 50 with mostly cloudy and virtually no amber atm... atleast a week maybe even two to go.

In other news I have a critical + sprout that is starting to pop out its first set of real leaves.

The 3 ssh fems (ghsco) are showing preflowers and I have cloned and put in flower one of them.

The moby dick (dinafem) is doing very well stretching quite a bit but its starting to flower now and its stretch should be done. Ill post up some images once she gets going. She has very fat kush looking leaves.

Thanks I pretty much fancy myself as a very amatuer picture taker hehe.. Ive got good gear its just a matter of knowledge. Becoming a true picture maker is much harder so many great photographers here on IC. Check out DGs picture thread in her forum for instance amazing skills. Course the photo of the month is always amazing. I enjoy taking pictures and I love growing plants so its a natural combination of two of my favorite hobbies. Thanks again for the compliment =)

Heyas shaun thanks for compliments and for taking time to drop in... aye it does but such is life... Ive always payed close attention and never had any serious issues from the ones Ive dealt with. I can see how on larger grows it could become impossible quickly. I recieved my ancient afghan (grindhouse), bog sourbubble, and chemdog d-d ... tnt auction so thinking of popping atleast 5 to see how good they are may pop all 11 if the first 5 dont germ...
