Non-selected landrace indica seeds

Has anyone got landrace indica genetics that have not been selectively bred. I'm looking for high CBD chemotypes. At the moment i have mazar i sharif landrace but i what i have tested so far seems to have high THC and gets me wasted, the buzz is quite strong and i'm not very functional. I'm looking for something low THC and high CBD that will be more subtle in effect. I'm still waiting to try a few other of the Mazar phenos but the couple of have tried have been just as potent as any other indica i have tried. I'm looking for something not too overwhelming but enough to treat my medical condition. Some people might class it as hempy. If i was in a position to do so i would do my own seed collection trip. I'm guessing wild plants would be the best place to be looking not cultivated strains.

Nirvana's Aurora Indica comes to mind, I had 2 very different phenos from 2 seeds. one was a keeper leaned towards the Afghan side the other was just leafy. A 10 pack is about £16 so you'll be able to find the plant that best helps

AURORA INDICA is an F1 hybrid of Afghan and Norten Lights.
Aurora Indica stays short and produces heavy colas.
This plant has exceptional resin production and the buds are dense.
Aurora produces a deep, near black hash, aroma and a heavy indica buzz.
This strain is probably our most potent indica.

Also, maybe think about white rhino - i haven't tried it but its meant to be very high in cbd, and aka Medicine Man

I just checked out their website but most of the strains offered are cultivated lines of hash and ganja cultivars and not wild (jungli) strains. Wild strains would be the best place to look for low THC high CBD plants. If only my health was such that i could travel overseas. Then i could find my own jungli seeds.

look into the parvati and golden triangle akha or even the mazar.. you should find high cbd plants in those.. stay away from the himalayan lines. also most of the jungli seeds will grow to be high in thc

Has anyone tried the akka (golden triangle) from them? it sounds interesting but i don't want to go spending money on seeds if they are not going to germinate on me.

Another way could be lettin your hashplant strain to became over ripe, when it does that, the thc decreases and other cannabinoids increase :chin: May not work with every variety, but every hybrid I have let over ripe has been more sedating than psychoactive....

How will you know if your strain is high in CBD? Do you have a spectrograph to analyze your buds? You could use less herb until your tolerance builds up instead of seeking out week herb.
I smoke for fun so I want high THC and a bunch of turpenes to modify my highs. Maybe read Sam_Skunkman's posts on CBD and see if that is what your really looking for.I'm not into medical MJ so none of this may help you. Just trying to help.

What you are looking for is VERY medically valid. If you look through the medical forums, you will find the answer you are looking for.

Essentially, what you are looking for is hemp. As in the kinda used for textile production. Hemp is known for its elevated CBD and its low THC. However not really sure this is something you want to smoke.

The problem with this question, is you have to keep in mind, that MOST plants are selectively inbreed. Even most landraces are breed by the locals to keep a supply of seeds for the next year. These plants have been designed for their THC production...which is easy to distinguish, where as CBD, can not really be identified within a plant with out using special equipment as Lean Green stated.

If I were you, my recommendation is to start looking within the early flowering, lower THC ruderalis plants. These plants are also ASSUMED to have a higher CBD ratio. There are some really great hybrid strains that combine ruderalis/indica that might be exactly what you are looking for. I would try some of the different auto-flowering varieties, as it is the ruderalis that gives them their unique flowering times/sensitivity.

I do not think you are looking for hemp, you want "drug" cannabis and landraces from Asia are the place to look.
You do not need to measure cannabinoids, you only need to smoke it and see how it feels in your body, over time, you will know what you are looking for.

I also suggest you try to find some pure hashish from Morocco or Lebanon, you will find this hash, because of the strains, the climate, and the clean way in which it is produced - will have high medicinal value.

This was the question I was thinking too.. You most likely dont have the change to test all these strains and it doesnt end there, you have to test individual plants of each strain... Smoking them like Levant suggested is way more accurate to know what suits you the best...

Btw.. I personally dont believe that even you synthetized CBD that it would ease you :chin: Thinking more about the combination of cannabinoids that makes those medical benefits :2cents:

Real Seed company is a company I havent try myself, but knowing who´s creation it is, I would say you got what you pay for = strains that they sell are authentic!!

Hi HashMonkey!

read this, posted by Sam the Skunkman...

"The reason the Western bred bud has less CBD is because the western growers and breeders have rejected plants with CBD and do not use them for herbal production or seed breeding. Hashish seeds imported directly from the third world will have CBD because about 25%of the plants are high THC, 25% High CBD, and 50% a mixture of the two. This is because while Sinsi growers worldwide keep the clones or seeds of the plants that smoke the best and use them for clones or seed breeding or growing next years crop. Hashish farmers in the third world do not do this, they do not smoke individual plants so they have no idea if a resinous plant is THC or CBD or both. They save the seeds from the plantsin the field that look the best, and have the most resin, regardless if the resin is THC or CBD. They have done this for hundreds of years and the genepool for hashish Indica plants has considerable CBD in it. But most growers in the west buy their seeds from breeders who have eliminated most or all of the CBD plants by smoking the plants and only saving the high THC ones, discarding the plants with CBD."

so my advice to you - if you want to hear some.. - woul be: go with M-I-S seeds and just looking for special CBDplant, if its true that these are true landrace from afghan fields....

mazar i sharrif is your best bet from the real seed co, youd be better off making hash or charas the traditional way but im sure u can single out a plant with a balanced cannabinoid ratio quite easily an run from clones, big yeilds to.
i jus ordered some mazar i, sherghans, an lebanese, all from the real seed co for 29 seeds for 17 pound, bargain. all will be grown mainly for higher cbd ratios for medi use

i have some landrace seeds that ive been saving for when the time comes that i can grow better than now..im from the phil..

thanks for the replies. I have mazar i sharif at the moment. I am trying to find a high CBD chemotype by testing each plant myself and looking for a CBD like effect. At the moment each pheno has been highly stoney effect. I'm guessing CBD produces less of a stone and more of a "sedate" calming effect. I still have a couple of phenos to test out. The most interesting thing with this strain is the smell. Its like a bowl of fruit. Not very pungent at all.
