I like the Lakers/Thunder series. Westbrook is too quick and Durant is shaping up to take over for Kobe as the best player in the league. Hopefully they can pull off a win in LA.

Although OKC is lining up for a comeback - it won't happen. Boston takes Miami tonight.

Well the Lakers are showing their age againt the younger OKC and the Lakers will probably lose game 6 but take the series. The Lakers will be in the finals and as a Lake fan I hope they repeat.

But for now Saturday night is gonna be a good nite to watch the Cav and the Keltics.

Thats gonna be a series to watch.

Oh yeah, the Celts finally got healthy again! Once healthy, they had to play through some ugly games but then they finally got their rhythm back too.

This is the Celtic team that started the year at 23 wins and 5 losses.

All the pundits and prognosticators made their playoff predictions based on the Celtic team of mid to late season. Those predictions are flawed and not to be believed.

I'm new to posting in these parts, and I just stumbled upon this thread. I LOVE me some NBA playoff basketball. No other sporting playoffs can compare. NFL is nice, but to much time between games. 40 games in 40 nights is my favorite time of year.

Bring on the hate, I'm a Laker fan, born and raised. Been die hard Showtime since I was a kid. My dad had season tickets up in the nose bleeds at the The Great Western Forum for a looooong time. I live in Seattle now, so I'm one of those ass holes that shows up to the Rose Garden (portland) with all my purple and gold twice a year.

Anyway, the first round was really entertaining this year. The semis were a little weak with all of the sweeping going on. Conference finals look GOOD. Cant wait for them to start tomorrow.
