Agreed, taking big cuts @ about 8 nodes on mine, sex the stumps, run the cuts.

Love the slender blades on a couple of those, sexy things ;)

What a fantastic garden!
Your plants always look perfect. Do your cotyledons even yellow...lol.
I've never had the pleasure of trying SSH. What's the buzz like compared to say, C99?

This is always my favorite part. One of those sativa phenos looks real nice. The variation is pretty cool to see. So similar yet so different. Any smells coming on yet?

Ok gang, my update is a little over due. I had a home inspection last week. My landlord is selling the place this year so it was bag and box ad re-arrange. LOL it came out alright. I have some pictures from a few days ago.

The plants are starting their finishing run and it looks like we will have a lot of different finish time. I have different deficiencies showing in most plants. P and N. If you look real close in the pictures it is getting worse since then. The skunk phenos are looking t be the first t finish up. I have some cloudy trics on her. She has a very sickly sweet smell. No clones from her so she will be one for memory alone.

Here she is.....

here is another....she was the runt of the litter. She has a sour, catpissy smell.

here is the one I have clones from. She has a deep dank hashy smell. I liked the way she smelled and grew in vegetative stage. She has nice even branching and she is in the middle. I lucked out. Not skunky and not Hazey.....in the middle. She is one that is starting to finish also. She has some yellowing down under.

here is a nice peppery smelling pheno. It has a little tip growing n the lead bud. She is a nice pheno but no keeper on growth. Just average.

and one more

I have just been giving water to them. A couple could have been fed to prevent yellowing but it is nothing I am going to worry about now.

80 days? maybe on some but earlier on others. These are faster finishers than the last and we have more of the shorter phenos this time and I made seeds with two of the shorter finishers so the f3´s should be fun.

We should be seeing some finished buds before long. Who has the bong?

ya V when the smoke cleared there was some variance in them. I ran into a few skunk phenos. Or the ones with the larger, rounder bud structure.

but all in all.....good fun.

They look good, in spite of the minor deficiencies and being tucked away in boxes. :) Funny story. I'm lucky this time around... I'm building a new room to replace my cabinet grow (very small "room" more like a closet) and my landlord/old friend has been the construction consultant, even donating the framing lumber, drywall sheets, and sound-dampening batting for inside the walls.

I know it was partly chance that you ended up with cuts from the one "middle-ground pheno" plant, but I do dig your criteria for that one, i.e. being pleased with the one that is a blend of the P1s. Most people gravitate toward selecting for a pheno that is as close a replication of one of the P1s as possible.

Jesus, I CANNOT form a sentence to save my life this afternoon. Hope you can understand wtf I'm trying to say because I'm too busy to go back and make it clear. LOL!

Peace-

I got it man! I am happy with the pheno I kept. I have some little bushes for mothers now and am ready to cut and flower son.

BTW> the Mikado x BB came out 7 out of 10 were females. The EWC did not have enough lime and gave me some problems early on but all is good now. Had to top them a few cm.....I took main stem clones. I hope to have them in in a couple of weeks.

Nice grow VP. Thumbs up :tiphat:

If you had to compare SSH and NL5/Haze about the growth pattern what would you say?
I ve purchased ssh seeds from mr nice and would like to make sure both species will fit correctly in the blooming room.

Nl5 x Haze. they are real similar. I would flower both from seed to control the stretching. The SSH being more of a spindly stretcher in most phenos.

When do you plan on starting them?

Sorry for the delay. Had a hard time loading pictures and when I was done I want to bed.
