The PRINCESS DIESEL GROW: a long time comin'. . .

honeslty it does seem like i might be able to pull it off after all, buds are starting to thicken up a bit, the trichs on these things are friggin astounding to say the least! ive never grown a strain with trichs on the fan leaves of the side branches before, i'd be a fool not to atleast try and make some sort/type of hash/oil with these fan leaves.
still lookin for batteries for this damned camera. if it wasnt for the fact that the fuckin batteries equated to a sheet of sheetrock i'd be ok with buying them but 8 bucks for 4 fuckin batteries?!?!? for me thats a hard sell yo. i was so pissed i was thinking about boosting the damned things and keep it movin, but i cant do that or more so dont have the guts to do that.

PS - decided to start some bag seed of a a pretty descent strain i came across, it was bag seed but it was pretty nice. the weed itself was a remnant of what it once was (not being stored properly, staying baggies all the time instead of a jar) but had a nice high too it, so i figured id take a chance on it.. . . we'll see!!

supervaca- is that PRINCESS DIESEL? i saw my friends grown out hydroponically and it kinda looks like yours. my friends PD's were kinda gangly IMO but its the standard that he set that im trying to beat. his is hydro mine is soil, organic of course, so i think i have him beat. he pulled about 4+ zips so ofcourse ive gotta go higher! he he he. . .

I cannot tell you the real origins of this diesel ; but I asked and it looks like almost surely is Soma NYCD, sorry...
Is like 1 m height this ones, 3l pot, all mix soil+humus+naturcannabis+delta9+bat guano+canna mono (Ca/Mg).
Not 100% BIO.. but close...
BTW, my 1st BIO grow , I'm more a hidro guy....They have been fed manually, like 2 times a day, small amounts....
We'll see if all this mess&dirt makes my smoke so much better than my dutch pot

catman -thanks for stoppin by with those oh so wonderful pics, good jesus, thats a frost! that first pic though, is that a cut or is that plant from seed? it looks alot like the cuts i got from my first SSH run. i took cuts thinking that i was gonna get full on plants but it grew more like a side branch and ended up budding all over the place into one big cola.
always found that interesting cause i figured it would be nice to have the plant grow out its stems and top individually and let them reach full potential on their own. i mean my first grows cuts turned into one literal long bud sticks, turned a plant that would have only yielded an oz. into one that yielded about 7oz.'s

awright folks i know ive been a dick about the batteries and actually taking the pics , but i honestly haven't really had the time.
what i have done is take all the main big fan leaves off of the side branches. i noticed an increase of the other leaves once those big main stem leaves were taken off, the plant responded and, as i thought, the other leaves became bigger and took up the slack.
its been really rainy and moist in my area so im dealing with humidity right now, not in a mold sense but in the sense of wanting the plant to start going into that final "over budding"stage. its a point near the end where the plant starts to increase the present budsites.
if anyone notices other pics of the PRINCESS DIESEL finishing up , theres always that one bud near the tops that seems as though its an off shoot; that extra budding happens near the end of the plants lifecycle, or so it would seem from past experience.
so going into wk7 im really watching and really hoping ot see some extra weight be packed on. from what ive read its a point where the plant is in a last ditch effort to put out its final best, utilizing the last of its nutes. i would owe this plant response to humidity but i have known that it can also happen once the plant hasnt been watered in a while, so with the last couple weeks (wk's 7 and 8) i think im gonna let the last watering be the literal last. if i see any changes then i'll let it go another week, if nothing then i'll just chop them down at the end of wk8

so far all of the PD cuts have finally popped roots!! so far ive noticed that some of them are long at the neck and others are bushy. loking aback at how many males i had taken cuts from by accident, i already know that im gonna have more male cuts than female cuts, but thats ok.
even if i were to end up with 3-4 more fem PD cuts to grow out, i can just repeat what i did in the big cab with the PD i have finishing off now. after making the changes that did during the beginning, i know what to do from the start to the out come would be even better this time; bending at the right spots, putting them in more soil to begin with, mixing some bonemeal into the soil from the beginning and the like

the six cuts that i have taken have all popped and are waiting to go into their new hydro homes, well all except one, but he started late so it being given more time is only fair.
i know this sat takes a damned long time to finish so once they are moved, im gonna take some more cuts from the mom and fun those along side the next PD run im gonna have.
i know i wont run into any time trouble with the SSH like i did the last time since i can go through 1 and 1/2 PD runs before those SSH would finish out. if i can have a 8:8 type thing going i would be straight. two fine ass genetics and about 1/2 - 3/4lb of each one is not a bad look either. a couchlock and headhigh. . . .yeah thats cool with me!!! ll

im at where i was when i started!! took some nets cups meant for hydro and packed some soil into them tight, made a hole, popped the seeds and put them in. i have them under cups the keep in the moisture and am waiting for them to show mw something.
i have to admit though that, i put tham in a baby food jar with a couple drops of THRIVEALIVE and forogt about them.
by the time i remembered, i checked on them and found that mold had grew in the jar and the seeds clumped together held together by the slimey mold. i took them apart and cleaned them in some untreated pH'ed water, got most of teh slimey stuff off and deicded to plant them. they seemed ok to plant but what i am thinking of doing is digging one or two back out just to see where the seeds growth is at. ive got more seeds and its only bag seed so whatever happens, happens.

well, this is shitty and hard but not too hard to do considering.
this will be my last entry into the diary/journal and my actuall last diary/journal period.
theres alot to keep up with, with house, kids, fam, the grow, without having to remember to update on here. another reason is that i dont want to continue with the thread and its all half assed and ppl dont get a chance to see whats what and follow along to get something from the thread itself.
THE FLOWERING CAB
my flowering cab is doing great so far. i wasnt happy with the end result of my PD grow since after the full 8 weeks, the plants seemed too immature to chop. i wanted to do a MH only grow to see the difference but it doesnt seem to be good idea. trichs are still clear, more than 60% of the hairs are still white near the top and the smell was not strong enough.
not to mention also that the taster nugs i was getting just seemed to be nothing at all. truly not up to par and this was with a week left to go, so that also alerted me to something being wrong.
i switched the lights and am running an HPS for the last two weeks. since i switched the lighting i have noticed crazy results. the trichomes actually are starting to fill out, the plant itself is starting to fill out, the smell is alot more defined and strong and even the pop corn buds are getting bigger, so things are looking up

the veg cab is pretty much filled with my wifes plants and i have one SSH clone that popped roots so its chillin. right now my mission is to get these PD clones straightened out so i know what im dealing with. i re potted all of the smaller clones and the bigger cuts are in the flowering cab now so i can see what preflowers show.

so far out of the 8 i put into the flowering cab 2 showed me their wares, one female one male so far. still waiting on the others to show something and get them situated. just happy that the one PD that i thought was a female was actually that. the SSH mom is doing well, seems to be getting root bound, i watered he a couple days ago ,it perked up and then started to wilt again and the bag is still heavy so being bound is the only thing i could see it being.
outside of that, just literally watching/waiting for the grass to grow.

Do what you gotta do, but I don't think your attitude is warranted. I really enjoy threads like these because I actually learn something. A lot of threads are just like slide shows of pictures and full of technical, but meaningless information. Your posts are proof your introspection and a lot of people simply don't think about things in such detail. Just wanted to say I enjoyed your thread and I hope you continue to share with us as well.
nah its not an attitude at all, its more along the lines of being overwhelmed with everything that going on around or outside of my grower life. its about being real with my responsibilities and not taking time out to take pics to post up while things are in a disarray around my home. ive posted whats been going on in other threads, but since im in NJ, we had alot of flooding a while ago and myself and others ive found are still dealing with that besides other projects that i have going on that honestly need to be done since they affect my family.
i dont think you mean that my attitude is bad, since its online im thinking that your misinterpreting my attitude and thats cool. i have no prob being honest/upfront about my intentions. this is online and i understand the need to be able to hear a voice or see a face
yeah frank i'll still be on here posting, mainly from work though, where im not in the house. i just wish it were safe enough so that i could post up pics and everything but i havent gotten there yet. i work in a hospital directly with patients so there is always a doctor or nurse or someone always around when you sit at a pc to log information. lmao, i had a fuck it moment that lasted all of 15 seconds (as far as posting pics from work) but it went just as fast as it came.
well if anything im glad that someone was able to see my diaries for what they were. ive always tried my best to stay away from the "look what ive got" syndrome that so many other diaries have. i really do want other people to see what ive got going on and be able to at the very least notice something similar, or maybe something i said pertaining to my grow sparked an idea, or someone seeing my cab can say " hey i can build that with improvements" or anything be able to help another grower, whether experienced or not.
i'll still be updating and everything but taking time to take pics, even to go get the batteries for this damned camera, are becoming crazy decisions. its literally been like: " well if get the batteries then i cant get these grow bags", "gotta cook for mothers day, so cant get teh batteries", need to send my daughters b'day gift box off, so no batteries today" and i really started to stress about it.
so i had to stop, think about the fact i was stressing. i thought about why i always had something coming up deterring me from getting something as simple as batteries, but it honestly is due to other shit coming up and for me this time starts my "season of busy".

Yeah i know it sucks but im hoping that once i get things squared away with th house, i can have that extra time to get things together.
after these PD are done im gonna move the cabs over to the other side of the garage so i can split it, have my man cave on one side and the tools/workbench on the other. once again, busy busy busy.
so yeah, im mad busy. the second i think to take pics i think about up and coming things that would benefit me and the plants!!! lol i was actually thinking about starting to take video but we'll see about that.
