Natta- I have the 4 bag 5 gallon set and I got around the same as you. about 14 grams wet and 9 dry. I got fairly equal amounts from the 45 and 73 micron sizes. I will post pics.

Ahh I took the pics before I left town and now I cant find them. I will make a new batch and document it.

On a sad note i was gifted a bunch of Socal master Kush seeds and had 12 babies all the pic of health. I went on vacation and somehow they did not get watered by my foaf sos....

Top her. LOTS. Tie her over, lst here, top her... Do it all, She needs to be trained.. the more budsites as you can get the better. Everyone say's og isnt a yielder, its just a plant that needs training... You can get her to yield, you just gotta bush out a monster with a fuckload of tops.
I would say tying her over is the best bet.

Caterpillars are gonna be your biggest threat outdoors... I recomend monterey garden insect killer, or any spinosad derived product... It is the only thing that completely elimnates the pillars.... Spray at the start of flower, then again about 30 days in.
Ive tried many precautions/techniques to get rid of the caterpillars, and the spinosad is by far the most effective treatment

Great info. As for your caterpillar fears:

Permethrin mixed in water has a good residual knockdown for about 60 days. Imidicloprid has a better knockdown (yay edible safe systemics!) about 8 months typically.

Warning, imid can produce spider mite orgies.

I have been playing with several ideas as for better systemic control of spider mites and typical plant predators. So far the most promising candidates are the avermectin family and a new product called "krontos." Abamectin aka Avid is a member of the avermectin family, its safe for food crops according to the EPA, so I have no problem reccoing it for marijuana.

Dosing a plant with Avid (and Imid if you want total control) at the beginning of flowering would eliminate the ability of nearly every pest to attack the plant.

Who knew my random pesticide knowledge would end up coming in handy?

Yeah the guy at BCC has a menu of over 100 strains in clone and over 200 in seed and you can put pre-orders in for as well. PNS was a great place when it was here. I think that's only been going on at BCC for a month or so now, though because before that they had some not okay clones.

OUTDOOR QUESTION : im growing outdoors for my first time ever, and was wondering, what do you outdoor guys use against caterpillers ? my friend had some on his bushes last year and thats all i can think about...
i'd love to plant them out their with at least a bit of hope that caterpillers wont destroy it...
any help would be much appreciated.

Praise - check out Imidicloprid for long term caterpillar knock down. One watering with the stuff, you're set till harvest. Another good one (if you want to spend big money) is Avid - aka abamectin, but the stuff will take care of spider mites too.

... i will give it a shot...first smell is offensive..even when you know your gonna recoil a lil, you still do...then, after you get used to it, almost becomes sweet...smelling gas gives you an idea of how your sinuses and tear ducts will react, though not as severe..haha..i dont get the lemon candy that you hear so much about, but the sour i used to associate with sour lemon candies comes thru...combines w a funk that you can imagine at one time resembled road kill, but was mellowed out by the afore mentioned sweet/sour/gas...ive smelled it in other diesel lines...the only strain that beats it in my opinion is sitting right above this post(sourdub) and by beats it, i mean just flat out stronger...then anything...haha..i still prefer that greasy reekiness of the ECSD to the straight out assault of sourdub...no other strains ive grown touvh these two...some have thier own strengths..og's, chem, albert...but i love REEEEEEEEK

hmmm.... the nuances of cannabis...... I will go out on a limb and say yeah that's how she smells but I was assured these were not ECSD from a mutual friend who I have been scoring a lot of local genetics from(including the Royal GDP, possibly thanks to you SubRob). What does the Chem D smell like? Are there any similarities? here are some closer shots.

I have to be honest, I will be a little let down if this is ECSD after reading all of your enthusiastic posts regarding her as at the top of your list. side by side, as far as quality is concerned, the Cherry AD blew this particular cut out of the water, I am hoping this is not the ECSD.

damn humble, love your pics and your work in the garden, I'd like to show the white berry pic I just uploaded but I don't think it will let me post it. The white berry is the clone I got from the cat on craigs list last year and it outperformed every cut we initially got from the sorrento valley PNC last august, trainwreck, sour d, g-13, grape ape, platinum kush, faux bullrider(to be fair even tho it's not BR it is a real nice plant, it just doesn't yield much). The WB is a hell of a grower and puts on weight, the smell at harvest is actually the closest thing I've smelled to real bullrider, that astringent/skunky/fruity funk that's difficult to describe but really unique.

Were still on the lookout for a nice 50 day finisher that isn't the usual skunk/afi offering. Any suggestions from PNC would be great. I think their bogglegum I've seen every now and then would do the trick. We grew it before from seeds bog sent me when I was on OG back in 03' to try and it was a nice plant, both the piney and the grape bubblegum phenos. Thanks for any input or help posting the pic

humble---not quite ecsd, but very similiar...i imagine hydro it would reek up your entire room above the others...you would def not be disappointed


----IMPORTANT!!!!-that cut that was given to a few people HAS NOT PROVEN TO BE MY OLD CUT OF GDP! i was worried it was gonna get out too far too fast...ive got her flowering now and im waiting for final judgement, but right now, she is not showing me what i remember as my gdp...cola is too fat...leaves have gotten bigger then i remember...we will see..not much longer now...

---heres some pics from my last chemd...these were probably in early forties which would roughly equate to late thirties in a hydro...the nugs get to where they appear like large white sticky cottonballs from any distance of more then 10 feet...the smell is unmistakeable...even when you havent grown it..hard to explain..but funk...rank funk musty goodness..

I see. Very nice pics. I'm gathering that the cut I have is definitely not the Chem-d but maybe another chem?? Apothecary? Chem 4? The smell is just not that strong. Yield is awesome but the quality on this particular cut is a little concerning.

At least the Chem D cut i got from APE was the same as the Chem 91 cut i got from wick....
Kinda funny, cause APE originaly got his Chem D from wick...

Humble's chem d smells like ogkush/sour diesel/chemdawg... I started referring to that cut as simply ChemDawg.... not chem d, or chem 91, or the docta cut... Cause to me, this cut exemplifies what i have always known as chemdawg... The chemdawg you get in dispensaries is most likely the Docta cut of Chemdog
