There are not many people in this world that you meet that have the positive outlook that you have Rowdy. Thank you for being such a positive role model. I wish you the very best.

This is a call to action for members of this collective, especially those who live in Lake County... The Board of Supervisors of this fine county is going to meet on Tuesday to consider ordinances that would seriously affect the ability of Good Karma to operate where it does and in the manner it does. They would also place heavy restrictions on indoor and outdoor growing...

The negative effect on our community would be huge.

Lots of info in the News thread...

Most importantly, your presence is required in the spirit of angry opposition at the BOS meeting in Lakeport on Tuesday the 27th.

It doesn't matter what restrictions they place as they will not be legal to enact. The SB420 bill's ruling has made this known. Let them try and it will backfire on them. November's vote will kill every hope they have for draconian laws that have no basis other than trying to promote racism- and yes that is what it is about sad to say...the mexican population. The dumb repubs there seem to want to try and make it as if all meds are somehow intertwined with the mexican cartels. I told one of them personally "Not all pot has to do with the cartels...why don't you venture out of your church groups and meet the real community that you are supposed to represent. The average American who has a Dr. Recommendation for Medical Marijuana does not meet your ideas of Cartel associates and members." I was told that he had seen confidential DEA information that proved me wrong. :noway:

I've been also waiting on a reply to a pm I sent. I just e-mailed them and hopefully will hear back from them soon. I was curious also. I still have not seen the new location.

Wish I made the event.
Take care,
BG

So...on a less important note... I ordered a bunch of t-shirts from the link provided on the website... Except for the women's tanks I got for my wife and our farm partner, all the GKG logos came on the back of the shirt rather than the front. Was this intentional? If not, I am sure there is a way to change it in the system.

Part 1/2

Part 1/2

I wish the best to my up north folk. You all have me in your corner, I wish I could make the meeting, but I'm a bit out of the area on Tuesday, I'll be there in spirit though.

Anyways the very long over due smoke report for this last "Clear Cup"....

I have to first say sorry for those that I did not fully document. I didn't remember to take pictures until more than half way through the testing process. My method of testing consisted of me blindly grabbing samples out of my lunch bag of happiness, totally at random.

The night of the event I got home and just crashed from the hash bash, so I saved every sample for later testing. I was so stoked when I looked through the bag and saw all the entries, every person who entered deserves a pat on the back because this was no easy choice from the visual aspect alone.

First sample I blindly grabbed was the small unmarked bag. From what I gather was what I think was the White Russian. It had a nice sourish taste and was very dense. I found the effect was more look around and think to yourself type of stone. Very off subject and random.

Couple hours later I grabbed my next victim. The bag said DOC, DIESEL ORANGE CRUSH but once the smell hit my nose I melted. I'm such a sucker for Cali-O/Orange Crush renditions and this one was glorious. Fully fragrant and orange. I have never seen a orange cross that reflected the orange parental lineage so much, and the taste transfered nicely to boot. Light green with clear and milky glands, the texture was also something that I felt was next to perfect where I want my medicine.

Next thing I pulled out was the MK, which I though was MK Ultra at first, but being somewhat accustom to GKG and their locals I realized quickly who's it was, MASTER KUSH. I have bought this medicine before and it was A+. What I had before and found consistent with this batch (Consistency is key) is it's very "Kushy" and sedative so I knew what I was in for; sleep and possible severe munchie attack. Lucky I decided to forgo the munchies and try the next since I had only so many days to make a decision.

Next baggie I pulled was my buddy Nobull's Cosmic Kush. It had high floral tones of almost unidentifiable scents and literally mad my mouth water in anticipation. I checked it under the scope and there was amber galore. Upon tasting I felt fully satisfied and it reminded me of rice crispy treats. Great flush and cure, it really made me surprised that there was something beyond the GOB9 that may win the outdoor.

Last bag I grabbed that night was the Cotton Candy. It was evidently sweet smelling and reminded me of something that has a hawaiian influence in there somewhere. I ended up passing out literally minutes after smoking the first of two bowls, it's hard work smoking all this fantastic medicine. I packed the other, but it had to wait until morning. It was a nice wake and bake.

I grabbed a couple entries for my day, on e was GOB9 the other was Super Silver Haze. At my break for school I decided to partake in my biased favorite GOB9. Man I love that girl so much, why didn't we clone?!? Anyways after coming back to class I was very focused and fragrant. I really understood the information and it was no easy feat considering the text. GOB9 just makes me happy and gives me a different way of thought process, which I fully enjoy. I can't wait for GOB99.

At lunch I had decided to have the Super Silver Haze special. It had lots of calyx to leaf and an evident hazy smell. The smell of this is what the smell of a lot of Amsterdam weed is influenced by. Fortunately this smell transfered in taste which is something that wasn't common of Amsterdam steroid pumped flowers. Very uppity and BM504 came with 2 strains very close to my heart.

I got home after school and went right for my grab bag....*part 1/2 con't tomorrow. When I complete it I'll copy and paste it to the judges thread.

The next five (BLUE NIGHT, SOUR DIESEL, CHEM D, MALAWI, PLATINUM PURPS) are going to be covered tomorrow. I actually remembered to take picture of these too so stay tuned.

Im sick of this chem dog, I ve been grown this chem strain from gkg for about a year now. Its seem plain jane to me. The yield is good but not great.the smell is good but nothing special. and it does throw some late hermies. And so is it the real 91? i cant say since i never really seen the real stuff. I did take my chem dog 91 ? to Harborside and they said it wasn't the 91. So who really knows.
Well im getting excited for the up coming cup this Sunday. I hope see you all there ....

I've never been a fan of the chem/diesel/og lines. Sure they can have a nice lemon sprite flavor but the sour stuff doesn't really interest me. In my eyes they have just polluted a large portion of the gene pool. Just like all of the purple garbage.

We went in yesterday to make sure there wasn't anything we could do & get our charge of good karma. I ask Rowdy if we could put an address up on icmag for those that want to help & are to far away to stop by to donate & she agreed:
This is the address for;

Good Karma
PO Box 237
Clearlake, CA 95422

As folks came in she was focused on getting them to attend the Lake Co board meeting on Tuesday. She is amazing! Like any good mother hen, she is fighting for her babies (Cannabis). I know that in the past she retained an attorney to try to get Lake County’s regulations sensible & only a few other (two I believe) collectives have helped with the $.

So I am making the call to all the good people in the IC-mag community to do what you can to keep the Good Karma flowing.

Not only is GKG recovering from their loss, now the Lake County Board is trying to zone cannabis out of our rights (thank you Payso for spotting & posting the text of their end run). Rowdy has always been the voice of reason with sensible guidelines for the cannabis community.
If the Board passes this proposal we can have: 60 sq feet of grow with 1200 watts of lighting AFTER paying for a zoning permit. If you are outdoors still 60 square feet or 100 if two qualified patients live at that property!
Do what you can to help & if you are close come to Lakeport 10 am Tuesday!!
If you want to have one of us that will be speaking to convey your reasonable thoughts we will be glad to! Try to be as orderly as possible & have your thoughts written down, remember this is not the final version. The most important thing is to show our numbers & resolve to these Elected Board Members & give them ideas that they can use to limit the real abuses that can take place.

Not only is the county trying to deny patients of their medicine and their right to grow their own, they are also shutting down potenial $'s the county could use to pay the law enforcement to do their job. I will be at the bos meeting. What do they really want?

its kinda funny how it coincides with big money trying to "legalize it" without making any thing legal just slightly decriminilzed. to set up shop to dominate the the 21 and over market, with limits on norcals maedicals they would eliminate their competition to become a marlboro like co.

it all smells like caca to me
