No, I did not take this picture myself. The owner of the store was kind enough to share this information anonymously as a warning to the retail hydro community at large. His store is located in Florida, but I am not at liberty to divulge a more detailed location.

The camera was mounted on a utility pole approximately 4 feet outside of the property line and was pointed directly at the front door and parking area. The store owner even went so far as to plant bamboo in front of the camera, at which point it was raised to the location it is shown in the posted image.

However, I am using past tense as I was informed last night that the camera has just as mysteriously disappeared sometime the night before last.

It is pretty common knowledge, if you live in Florida, that Florida Attorney General McCollum encourages harsh enforcement of state marijuana laws, especially with regards to "grow houses", due to the influx of organized criminal gangs. In fact, since the passage of the Marijuana Grow House Eradication Act (http://myfloridalegal.com/__8525622...D18525746B0070D23B?Open&Highlight=0,marijuana) in June of 2008, Florida seems to be completely at odds with the changing attitudes in other parts of the country.

As someone alluded to in a prior post, state and local law enforcement are responsible for the vast majority of drug arrests, not the DEA. Be aware.

Just me, GROWMAN!!!! I don't drive to the hydro store, I use my super powers to sprout up inside of it already, pick up my equipment, and then use a series of intricate root tunnels to travel back home underground, un noticed by LEO with my new equipment.

The attitude drug cops have in regards to violent crimes like murder and rape in comparison to drug crimes is that everytime somebody smokes a joint or does a bong a line of coke anything their breaking the law and those are broken millions of times everyday and there isnt even close to that many murders and rapes being commited. that happened here cops watched a local hydro joint watched a guy pick up numerous amounts of nutes during a few weeks they followed him to a warehouse. they later executed a search warrant finding a shit ton of pot plants! i think that watching hydro shops is illegal and breaking the first and forth amendment!

Wonder Woman is my girlfriend and after giving her a tongue lashing, I convinced her to do a flyby of the hydro store in her invisible jet and pick me up a few things. Btw she has quite a bit of cargo room in the jet. Give me a shopping list and some money and I’ll have her pick up some stuff for anyone on this thread.

I did go by the brew & grow the other day, nice place & friendly people. I liked it a bit more than ecogarden supply, but they did lack some of the selection that eco had. I need a big bag of perlite so i may hit eco today. I'm not growing anything illegal (yet) so not concerned.

The police are a bit confusing at times. My mother use to own a headshop located near a college campus. The local police would "stake out" her place often, but I'd never heard of any of her customers getting busted. In fact, there was this one customer that kept coming in and buying replacement glass stems all of the time. Everyone knew she was a crack head. No big secret (the constant talking and scratching at herself combined with her overall poor hygene and burnt fingers were a pretty good indicator). She never got busted either.

Don't really know what they were lurking for. All the merchandise was in brown paper bags too, so it's not like they could tell who was buying digital scales versus the latest Jenna Jameson flick.

And say they do stake out the hydro stores. What is to differentiate between someone using hydro to grow weed versus vegetables? Electric bill is going to be higher either way. And it'd be bad publicity to knock down Farmer Brown's door only to find rows and rows of tomatoes and cucumbers.

Heck, right now I'm using a T5 stand to grow perilla. Not smoking at this point in my life, but even innocent, coming to this site has me paranoid. Now I'm having nightmares of cops busting in and planting shit out of spite.
