1000W 3x3 ScROG (Round 2)

I was watching lol. I also made sure I wasn't followed into my complex. So far so good.. It was a tense ride though but well worth it for the amount of stuff I got..
Okay cooling and airflow have been added to the tent. In this scenario I'm trying somrthing new. I am placing fans on the outside of the test as opposed to previous grows where fans were inside with the plants. As for fans I refer to the 265 Squirrel cage fans I have. One is mounted on the side and being held by 2 industrial zip ties. This one is dedicated to the Daystar AC Hood. I also have another 265cfm squirrel cage sitting on the top of the tent extracting air from the tent. These will both remain on 24/7 until my moms are ready.
Here I've ducted the hood and added a small desk fan and set it to the lowest setting as just to move the plants gently. The other fans will control heat as necessary.
Now if you wonder why I'm vegging all the plants this way - it is simply because I need whichever doner mom I use to be strong, healthy, and big enough to provide me with 36 viable clones. Only (1) strain will get flowered - I'm aiming for consistency in height and you cannot achieve that with multiple strains. Although I have 4 trainwrecks, they may have different tendencies from each other so this is why I need to clone and flower 1 cutting from each plant in order to identify preferable traits early on.. Budding time is on #1 of favorable traits.
This would mean that when I find a good donor mom all the other plants will go into the veg/mom chamber again but they will be stripped back down to a very small stature under a smaller light.
I find it amazing that with 400W's beaming over them. The babies continue to turn their foliage in the direction of the 6500K floros. I love this yellow and blue light combination. I can only imagine what good shit is happening in those plant veins.

Great work. I had lots of seeds that I just germinated, over 40 and all of them germinated but I had some that didn't initially, like several, so I cut the seeds seam with a razor blade and removed the shell...one of them eventually died because it had the top but the end where the root form grew into a nub and didn't sprout routes...so it dried up a few weeks later when I was late to water it...so it may have made it. I had one seed sprout two tails and eventually twin plants but the bigger of the two was burned by my light before I put the fan in....I ended up killing 3 out of 40+ plants, so I figure that isn't too bad for my 2nd try...so I would never write off a seed until you remove the shell and give it a few more days. I thought I had more seeds germinating but couldn't find em so I figured I planted em and forgot but I found em yesterday and 4-5 seeds were still in there and rotten...so that was hitty but I have more seed than I know what to do with anyway...great thread man!

Thanks for dropping by.. I think my biggest mistake was placing them in rooting cubes without the presoak. All the Lemon Skunks died except for 2 and I lost 2 trainwrecks. It's funny because I received a free coltrain seed along with the trainwreck order and during my panic of removing them from the cubes to place in the soil. I mixed the order and lost the position for the coltrain. Now as they're getting older I believe I habe 3 trainwrecks instead of 4 making 1 of the 4 the coltrain. I think it is the coltrain because the leaf structure is certainly not the same as that of the trainwrecks which appear to be very stable showing very similar traits. I'll try snapping a few pics to show what I'm talking about. Other than that I'll make sure that seeds get presoaked before anything gets done.

Looks good in your tent,sucks ass losin those lemon skunks and tw,I have 1 lemon skunk from GHS goin at the moment and I got a arcata TW cut from a buddy so were growing some of the same genes,so what do you about the lemon skunk? I've never had it before and I'm really anticipating it along with the other GHS genetics I have.
NICE!! I've heard raves about that arcata cut. I will be watching that very closely.. Well I've spoken to a friend who's tried the lemon skunk he said it was a very pleasant smoke. Very lemony needless to say of coarse but he said the flavor is well balanced and the high was quite strong. This was great news for me to hear because I plan on running the lemon skunk right after I finish the train wreck
I think you are going to be very happy with the lemon skunk. I'm so impressed with GH genetics right now. I did have a rough start but it was all my fault. Never again will I pop a seed in any cubes. It'll be paper towel to soil from now on but I managed to save the majority of them

Ok so today is the 16th day of veg for my TrainWrecks. I went ahead and trimmed most of the foliage WITHOUT being too excessive since they are still young. This should definitely make for a bushy bunch of moms. I also pinched all the tops to assist in faster side growth.
Here's a before from 3 days ago
Here's an after from today. LoL 30 minutes later from a pretty debilitating pinch - most top were back up aimed at the light
I should have photographed what they looked like earlier today but I did not. They were very leafy. I've noticed the Lemon Skunks just started picking up yesterday which makes me happy. I thought they would end up being runts. Those have some strange morphing but I'll stay off that topic until they get a bit larger and you can see what I see.

Watching this...I run a 10 light setup. Just basically what you do times 10 with a lot more bells and whistles, but same idea. I got 10 3'x3's scrogs. Glad to see you went the same way with the 3'x3' instead of 4'x4'.

This is my first time with ebb and flow but after seeing so so so many here with great success I went ahead and took the dive. I come from DWC and I'm good at it too but those long veg times do not benefit me. This time I'll be all about numbers in order to aim for the safe goal but better final product. 10 trays - WoW!! 36 plants thats 360 plants. I likes very much!!
For those having issues with heat in a small 3x3 tent; I've removed ALL moving parts aka motors for fans blah blah. My 3x3 is running 77 with 1000W. I always had issues with heat but this really works. My last running average was 90 in the tent with the 1000W and two dayton 265's. Now both dayton's work from the outside and the tent is really cool..

Nice I'd love to see how your gals are doing. My setup will be a 3x3 flood table. These soil gals are moms. Just waiting for the right one to give me a sign because I'm going to clone her and flower her immediately. I'm just not sure about the G13. Those were my last 3 seeds and I'm still unsure as to which one is female. Unsexxed from Soma. Hopefully have at least one in there. The remainder are females from GH. Damn I can't stand the slow progression of soil but I'm doing it this way to hold onto the moms for as long as possible.

LoL don't you know I picked up 4 of them lol. Some local dude just wanted to get rid of them and I got a whole lot for 2 benji's man. If if too works out I may just run 2 3x3's with 2 1000's but for now I'm sticking to the one only to see what production will be like. Getting some batteries later today to show what the plants are looking like. Hopefully soon we can cut because my EZ Clone 60 just arrived. Man I am so siked out!!
damn you pay for cuts? iv never understood that. why pay for something that might not even be what they tell you or iv heard storys of people payin for a cut that infested there garden with bugs or PM,dont mean to be an ass but i just dont get it. anyway i hope it is what they said it is if so it sounds killer.
