They also said that the boys in the emerald triangle have moved to some super skunky 'Dutch Treat" or "double dutch". seemed like a strech to me. But i have not had a good skunk in a few years.

It did not happen.
Skunk #1 was bred by me not some made up collective.
I was not busted, did not go back and save clones. Never served a day. Never lost a single seed or plant in the USA. All just made up lies.

Lets hope that any new RKS development is based on fact not lies.

Some of the best herbs I've ever had or smoked was RKS....

The stinkiest bud I've ever came across was RKS... picked it up from a friend in a glass tube. We opened that tube up in the car and IMMEDIATELY the entire vehicle REAKED of dead skunks. Nothing sweet about it, just dead grotesque skunks, it was so wonderful!!!!!!

Even after we got home and went inside, the next day we got in the car with nothing inside the car, the entire car just REAKED of dead skunk. I wish I had some of THAT shit again. Tasted acrid and skunky and the flavor stayed on your tongue foreverrrrrrrrrr....

There's a well-known seed company right now [can't mention their name or my post will get deleted] that has a RKS out right now... I'd love to grow it out and see if I can find a keeper RKS mom... it's on my list of beans to obtain...

we all miss the RKS... and if you've never had the absolute pleasure of smoking this strain, you don't know what you're missing. I'd take a classic, reak your house out RKS over a cut of pretty much ANY "elite" out there today. Bottom line.

Thats good humor there, I highly doubt anyone in the Emerald Triangle moved to Dutch Treat or Double Dutch lol.

Looks like it's been playing out for 4 years. Yearning for a memory and not being happy with what you've got. Talk about missing out on the day! The Buddha says desire is like drinking salt water, no matter how much you drink from it, you are never satisfied. Got guys growing 30-40 strains looking for something and never being satisfied. Buddhists are , but they are also honest. I've read lots of threads about people growing strain after strain and saying they are never satisfied. Spending years trying to get back to something in their memory. In the meantime, wonderful things are happening RIGHT NOW.

The definition of foolishness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the results to be different. Like pursuing a transitory experience , as transitory as a puff of smoke and trying to rely upon it.

Now if I were to keep doing that, I would be fooling myself. Like I said, the thread is 4 years old and no one is satisfied yet. So hang around... and devote yourself to it and see if the results of the quest bring any lasting happiness.

And when one meditates, you don't think thoughts, you watch them arise and disappear and let them go, realising that the only thing that does not come and go is that which is aware , but not seperate from either the thoughts, the awareness, or the watching of the thoughts that are transitory...like smoke. Easier said than done. You should try it.

It may be a better use of the precious human life than chasing the memory of a smell.

I can smell sam the skunkman freebies i am growing 20-30m from my plot before i can even see them. Now i am not saying they are RKS but god damn they really stink and they are only just starting to bud now. I can only hope they stink like this when finished. They out odor everything else that i am growing.
