I'd like to work on stirring the shitstick in Texas. I've always been the type to run towards something when everyone else is running away.

i think you will regret this decision gramps keep your equipment you will be back take my word for it once you start paying the over priced prices for medicine you will come running back full speed. trust me i took a break and im now working to try and get to a situation where i can trust me after you realize what you can put out and how much others would charge for it you will be back, and put a lock on that attic and have all the gfs you want just dont show them

Gramps, looks like a good time to start raising some hell.
I just found out about Jack Herer and thought about why I am still in the closet when real men like JH were and are out there standing tall.
First step is get legal..(check)
next is have a passion ...(check)
then it usually helps to have a brain.. (check)

I'm keeping all the euqipment for sure. It's all stored in the back under lock and in the pony walls. Rigging it all back up would be a couple of day deal.
I'm not so worried about the meds. I have a lot to last me for a long time and I think I can suffer the prices for another year or so. Till I get 100% on my feet again. Baby steps.

Thanks Freeman. I see you carrying the burden of trying to help people in a way that goes to the very core of honor and who we are. I find your discussion of freedom quite inspiring.
It's always better live to fight another day. This isn't a bad thing by any means. This was a hobby that showed me another world and something special. It's just my Ace In the Hole now business wise.
Regardless of what my room looked I'm still newbish at this and have learned TONS about all aspects of covert growing. In my field work (the oilpatch) if you are under 2 years in the field you are called a "worm."
I look forward to enjoying the time off to plan for another show sometime down the road.
Life's about the journey and this was just one step down the road.
Next week or so I plan on getting involved with the TEXAS NORML chapter and see what I can offer.

Damn, a very inspirational growroom setup to be sure gramps, thanks for the pictures and stories. A good girlfriend will keep you busier than any number of plants, but a better one will help you water them

I think the only real burden I feel offering info is I sometimes use a lot of time that I could perhaps use to further my understanding of things... but we are all one and in this together (whether knowingly or not), and I'm only ever going to be as far as the last man.
It's a large sacrifice that you are making to walk this new chapter in your life, but it's not without reward. Your new found lack of fear for the powers that be will give you all the empowerment you need for your new adventures in legal land. I hope you stay around in the sovereignty discussion too, it's a perfect opportunity to put some of those techniques into practice.

Manufacturing a controlled substance I believe. Jail time for most people. I saw a thread just a little while ago that one guy got 35 years for 4 ounces (I believe) down here. It's nothing pretty for sure. First offense and with my condition I would probably get probation I reckon.

Same thing as running a meth lab. TX has no cultivation laws, so it falls under manufacture of a controlled substance. 30+ years...yep.
