Really? The white widow I grew was super indica and was a horrible yeilder, although very potent and trichome covered. I crossed her with strawberry cough to increase yeild and flavor and like it much better (I call it scarlet venom). I have some f2scarlet venom seeds I can't wait to pop.

I also crossed dj short's blueberry with nirvana's pure power plant and eventually it became an IBL after much work and I call this velvet hammer, which is a clone only at this time. It is a 70/30 sativa/indica hybrid, couchlock totally.

I also love dj short's blueberry, it works wonders on my nausea and yeilds pretty well, lots of trichomes, great blueberry muffin taste.

I love golden goat for the mood elevating adn pain releif and it's great taste, it reminds me of my velvet hammer.

I also really love strawberry cough, buddah's sister and death star.

I recently did a cross with death star male and a sativa white rhino, buddah's sister, a cherry/grape indica leaning ak-47, strawberry cough and death star... I'm excited to pop those beans.

I heard that black domina wasn't good to breed with?

ahhh nice stuff man, i'm hoping to get into some breeding of my own and am currently trying to work out which landrace / IBL strains to buy from seedboutique, any suggestions?

I have some bud that is supposedly white widdow, it is not a great yielder but it smells super fruity and tastes delicious...I just crossed it with (royal dayne x baby breath freak) so I am anxious to grow em out...

So far the best impression on me made DC and some haze hybrids like o.haze x skunk1 and sssdh.

Dr Tre, old school genetics were anything but smoking & jumping hurdles, I smoked some 70's weed most of my teenage years and it left me strapped to the couch looking for the door to leave more then enough parties, it also left me sitting on the couch drooling for hours so things as for couch lock or wake & bake alert sativa high is about the same, just now these days we have tons more strains..

Devil, maybe "oldschool" is relative and it's not necessarily the 70's in US :)
In my country what I call oldschool are the fields of sativas grown by villagers, compared to the indoor hybrids of nowadays.
And yes, there were indicas back then, but now they are much more popular thanks to the stretch and indoor growing, the latest - thanks to the war on drugs and it's main supporter, the mafia.
Only in places where weed is semi-legal (like for medical patients, or in coffee shops) there's enough variety of strains for customers to choose from. Blessed are the locals :) The rest of the world is stuck to the eventual skunk or affie choice.

Arjan's Haze #2.

I grew Greenhouses Great White Shark, White Rhino, Cheese, Lemon Skunk and Arjan's Haze #2.
Grew Seedsman Sugar Haze (crappiest thing I grew and smoked. HATE IT). and Nirvana's Blue Mystic and Papaya.
Toked on White Widdow and Super Skunk in dam. Didn't like either at all.

Arjan's haze #2 was by far the most superior smoke I had, altho it was my first grow and wasn't as potent as could be. It was a very HAPPY and spacey high.
Yield was crap tho.

many people mentioning GHS stuff as their favorites and still...well I'm one of them...
Neville's haze
because I can't any serious work without it

I find that when breeding (I'm a female BTW), it is best to chose strains that are opposite of each other, and that things get really interesting when it comes to the f2 generation.

I chose strains that I like, or that have potential and cross them with what I like. I don't like femmed seeds, due to hermie tendencies etc, and because I am breeding new strains I like getting male plants, but some males I have chosen not to breed with (like the black magic kush, big bud and pineapple big bud), it all really depends on the male plant to me, when I am chosing for breeding purposes.

Just give me some C99, super fast, super potent, low stink factor in the grow = less worry:jump:

With the garden at the moment, Pakistan valley looks like a great plant. I only saw horrible reports by people, no pics or grow journals except one on this site that showed a nice yield and appeared pleased. She's my biggest yield growing fast and of course I love indica's. The purple wreck is my other favorite, tiny buds so far with the shortest hairs I have ever seen. A lovely creamy smell and we are a couple of days past 2 weeks of flowering. She has extremely dense flowers, but mostly I like a lot of the plants in the garden. Always an afghani fan, Mazar Kush has the most fresh blueberry smell I've ever known in a plant. The Matanuska Tundra isn't as impressive nor the blue hash but it's early.

I can't say I have a true favorite until I see how my own hobby crosses grow out, something special about mixing your favorites into a breed.

i have fibroymalgia and the purple kusk going around the pnw is great for pain releif. amazing actually. It's a strong indica that really works. I know a guy who works at a local dispensary and fell 4 stories broke alot of shit he turned me on to pk, and i have not looked back since. it's a strong indica and truely my all time favorite, still looking for something with equal pain releif and nothing comes close.
B. Friendly

If you're talking about the PK cut available through some of the OMMP groups then you're right. It's a great pain-management strain to be sure.
