Update...

Update...

Chem D cuts have been transplanted (yesterday...day before...sometime) to their perspective containers for the side by side test. Both are being moved from a 1/2g round pot and were not root bound but had begun to fill out the pot and had circled ever so slightly on the bottom....in my opinion...perfect timing for transplant...

Hey cosmic...those are Air pots....do a quick google search for a real detailed break down from the site...

But from how I understand it...roots grow out, hit the hole, "air prune" themselves due to light / air exposure, forcing another root to grow / begin off the tap root...rather than one larger root coiling around and around....

Supposed to be better pots...so they say...we'll soon find out if it is true...

day 22 flower....entering the 4th week.

Time to give the girls 3ml Liquid Karma / 1 tbsp molasses mix to feed up the microbes and get some more nutrients available for uptake a bit faster...give them a little boost, no?

Also, I should make mention, I have been warned by a fellow ICm member that was growing the Blueberry x Bluebubble to look out for herms, during the 4th-5th week of flower. That means, there are two plants I am still watching VERY closely and may need to be culled from the garden...

You know...I was thinking...kelp, hiN bat guano, ewc, LK tea...but I wonder if that would burn them? They are in a pretty strong mix already...

And I realized it has been a month since I have posted any pictures of the flowering plants...I'll get on that. I suppose a detailed update is always due at the start of 4wks....

Frank, looking good in here. You won't burn them with kelp, EWC and LK. The guano likely won't burn them either, it takes a lot with organics to burn them up. But if the container mix is strong go light on guano, especially Peruvian & Mexican as they seem to be especially quick hitting and hot. Maybe 7.5-15 mL per gal depending on the plants needs, as well as its size and your containers mix. But the LK, EWC and kelp won't hurt them.

Too bad about the Chem/NL herm. She looked good. Is this the first time you've used Air pots or just the first time you compared them head-to-head?

Rasputin - This will be the first time really using them...I have a couple of Trainwreck cuttings that are doing far superior in the air pot vs. a normal container, so I figure I can expect the same with the larger ones....

you wont be able to burn them. if it is organic soild they should only uptake what they can use.
