small nirvana PPP 'tube' LST

been meaning to get this grow log going
about 24 days in, and flowering has been going for a week
and it is a femme, showed sex after 7 days, wow!
it's small, but this is the micro forum

the setup is a tube made from aluminum flashing
3 26w cfl's in a pizza dish as a fixture
i've done a few grows in this setup, NL twice

but i've trimmed down the height, it's a 24 inch high tube
i shrank it for stealth, very easy to conceal such a tiny grow
kind of like a tiny garbage can, LST is needed here

so the plant has nearly filled up the grow space
very impressed with this strain so far
i've tugged and pulled, and so far so good
LST master's(or amateur's) suggestions quite welcome

yeah, cheesebuds, it almost looks like i know what i'm doing
mostly, the plant is incredibly compact, a strong sativa? looks like a ground creeping indica to me
has the thick white widow stem of it's parentage - seems to take to lst nicely

still, a good problem, i can prune if i need to
i did slice off a fan leaf accidently, you could never tell from the pic

let the grow get away on me, at least on the picture side
she's beginning to look pretty good, just about 3 weeks of flower
the ratio of height to width on this plant is pretty wild
would have looked like a barrel cactus untrained i think

3 weeks of 12/12 and all is well, well pretty good actually
growing fast and furious, but i think i see a touch of yellow in some fans
i may have run a little short on the nitro, vigorous grower so kind of makes sense
fortunately, my tea was just ready to go(bone meal tea from 6-9-0 mg bone meal)
but it's really going to be a packed house in here, this is going to be nip and tuck

coming up on 4 weeks, looks pretty good, for a 1st LST anyways
bit of the yellow in the lower fans, not much
this could be a very nice yielder, but that is PPP's rep

thanks, just checked out your grow, looking good there
sounds like we have a similar issue, getting these things in and out of the grow chamber
delicate operation, mine is a pretty touchy deal

4 weeks done, 4 maybe 5 weeks to go? stuff is happening
getting more yellow on the lower fans
not sure if i've underfed or if normal for the strain as it ripens
the colas are very healthy with lots of green leaf, and growing fast
which is what confuses me a bit
but i've tossed a bit more nute in, we'll see how it does

As far as your fan-leaf question, as far as I know and am concerned, that yellowing on those base fan-leafs is normal to the flowering stage...I believe it's something like the nutrients contained in those leaves is used toward the process of budding...one of our mentors will enlighten us...what fert mix you using?

probably just stressing over nothing, just seemed a bit early
soil is MG organic garden with bone meal, dolomite, and perlite
bone meal is MG Organic, 6-9-0, nice shot of organic nitrogen
the nute is bone meal tea from the MG bone meal and molasses
a strange nute but it does work well, did on my last grows anyways
smells like nothing you've ever smelled, in a real bad way

plant is scaring me a bit, seems to be ripening at a furious pace
buds packing on bulk, fan leaves losing color just as fast
must have gotten used to that slow ripening NL, everything seems fast now
8 weeks seems pretty doable, which would be nice for a strain with a sativa kick

smell is low, real low, less than northern lights
it does have some smell when rubbed, i really can't describe it
maybe a hint of skunk, but really not a MJ smell at all, a very stealthy pheno so far

just at 5 weeks of 12/12, overall pretty good
took a close look at her today, the main action seems to be on the main cola
the side buds are not all that impressive
so my point here is that LST may not be the best method for this strain
i'll see how it plays out, but 1 oz of bud is probably the limit, maybe a bit less
the pic looks good, but the side buds look better than they actually are
