actually while i would agree with you in terms of the ammount of fake strain names is getting overwhelmin, this is however is a real cross made by a real icm member. It is the bomb and you shoud respect it. Gangster Purps!

And thus anyone who named Gangster Purps didn't know the origin or the correct name of O.G. Kush.

doc-not quite, purple kush is another plant. popular in california med scene i guess. theres alot of kushes, dont even try to become familiar with them all. its ridiculous.

The gangster purps is better then a lot of the over hyped stuff.

Half the reason og kush is so popular is because its called og kush as in original gangster not because its the actual name, but because it just caught on, so it may as well be called gangster nowadays(it is bomb weed too, but not teh best imo).

Ask any city brother and they will call it original gangster kush, it is kind of a deragatory term just like "grapes" and "skunk" You could give a lot of these guys any hyper potent indoor and they will call it "OG". Just like most ppl that don't grow don't know that kush is a 100% indica plant named after the region it came from, and has nothing to do with og kush or the chem stuff.
Details are for breeders and growers, and half the time they rename their meds anyway just to sell it, even if the stuff is super potent anyway.

OG and purps are both extremely popular, so it would figure there would be numerous crosses of it.
Even if the gangster purps and the grandmasterkush are the same stock (which I doubt, there are so many diff cuts in norcal) they were probably done by different breeders I would imagine. They would probably have some differences I think.
Course I may be wrong
