Your girlfriend found this seed on the sidewalk? That's a pretty awesome story, I'd probably keep it around just because of that.

It would be interesting to see what she could do locked-in. How far along is this example?

It is hard to answer as the name "Kush" has been so bastardized.

The term was used, properly I should add, for years to describe landrace Indicas that came from the Hindu Kush Mountain Range. Nowadays, the term is not always used to properly identify anything remotely resembling a Kush, other than being marijuana, thanks to the internet.

Here are some pictures and a bit of literature on the region - http://images.google.com/imgres?img...a=X&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&tbs=isch:1

I took like an 8 year break from growing and a few years ago when I started back up I was really confused about some of the things being called "Kushes". I figured out that the term is misleading about the same time I figured out the marijuana genetic business isn't filled with the most honest of people.

Haze is the new Kush. They are both, now, buzzwords. People will attach these word, sometimes both, to anything whether it resembles the real thing or not. And that leads to all kinds of troubles when trying to identify ...

Some of the misleadingly named varieties kick ass too so it all comes down to tracking down the source if you got a clone.

From seed, no matter what it is, you can call it a Kush!! You have your own, newly discovered, Sidewalk Kush!! The rules have changed and anything can be a Kush in these times. Hell, yours has fat leaves so it can be argues it has "real Kush" on its dad's side!!

I heard that Sidewalk Kush is straight fire. I'd blow a goat for a cut of that.

(And so the legend begins)
