OHHH i hate u both and am very very jealous! But at least the ufc is making headway in canada and i will catch a show sooner than later. As for predictions,u gotta take silva over leites but if silva is gonna dance around like a fruit then i hope he gets kod.I know hes good and he treats it like a sparring match but i wanna see the best of him.If it results in him knockin a guy out in 35 seconds then great. As for the liddel shogun fight it's hard to pick a favourite.Iv'e seen shogun fight from his days in pride and if he just broughthis cardio up to standards he could be a top contender. He is so much more versatile than liddel but he needs to bring his A game.If he tires liddel will catch him with a punch and that will be it.

Yeah i agree, Silva does seem to treat his fights as a sparring session, i wanna see Silva bring his A-game and like u said if it means a 35sec ko so be it. We all know how good he is but can any of us say we have seen him at his best? I for one think there is still more in the locker to come from him. As for Rua v liddel like i said earlier could go either way however because of chucks counting punching and pure punching power im swaying over to him. Rua is the more all round fighter i agree its just his cardio thats suspect. It should be one hell of a fight however it goes

I hope Chuck pulls a win out too, but Im hoping for Leites to give Silva a good fight at least. Seems like its been a while since Silva was seriously challenged...

I was disappointed for Liddell, but Im sure dana white wont let his money boy go away without at least one more chance.
Silva and Leites, I think their fight was more a classic brazilian ju-jitsu match. Leites wanted to take it to the ground, i actually thought Leites won when they were on the ground in the 2nd, tiring silva out. But Silva's striking skills are too much. I keep thinking if you want to outstrike Silva, you gotta take it to him. Strike at unpredictable moments. No one's been able to do it though...

GSP needs to go up a weight, or silva go down

might get a good fight with silva then.

he just beats these guys he's fightin to easy, the guy was hardly hit

I think the thing with A Silva is that he makes anyone look ordinary, he did what he needed to do and that was win. Lets not forget Leites is a jui jitsu world champion. The fight itself from my arm chair view (lol) was very one sided, Leites didnt want to stand with Silva as he knew he would get knocked out in all probability. He tried on numerous occasions to take down Silva without success. I dont think Leites would of done alot even if he did manage to get it to the floor. I bet Silva had harder sparring sessions in the run up to this fight than the fight itself. For a championship fight it was poor, nothing taken away from Silva tho yet again not a mark on him. The count is gonna take Silva out (well i can dream)
As for a GSP v Silva i dont think it will ever happen, i cant see GSP stepping up a weight and if anythin Silva would rather test himself at light heavy which is the plan i think.
Could that be the last we see of chuck? Another bad loss. Rua looked in gr8 shape, i do hope we see him at his best in future, he has everythin in my opinon. Would love to see Rampage v Rua, i remember their fight in pride 2005 and i think rampage and his ribs havnt forgot either

Last nights fight were pathetic

Chuck - Love ya but its time for u to retire. He'll fight one more for the money and that is. 2 more if he manages to win. Chuck has been taking way tooooo much HGH for a long time anyway!
Silva vs Leites was a joke! Leites was scared to engage with him.

GSP really has no reason to fight Silva. Both of them are making a killing anyway so why would they want to fight each other? Believe it or not this is all about the fucking money and the hype. Both of them are at the top of their game and fight the other guy is only going to give them a chance to fall. Top dollar in the UFC is around 500k for a fight and they are getting that already or are close to it. Fight each other isnt going to give the winner a million or more. So why bother?

TUF9 is looking interesting whats the score???????? 4-2 to us brits..... I think team uk have a better understanding on whats required to make it at this level than team usa (just my opinion) Team usa seem to want tv time rather than fight time going by their attitude. To be honest i think the usa fighters thought it would be a stroll for them against us brits, but now they know the brits are way better than they 1st thought.

On a diferent note this weekend sees UFC98, and on paper it looks quite a lame card.. The Evans v Machida fight could go either way, but im swayin towards the challenger at the moment, but Rashad looks in gr8 shape physically and mentally for the fight so who knows???? Hughes v Serra is going to be interesting as everyone knows there is no love lost between these 2. What do y'all think?

Im looking forward to the Evans-Machida fight. I hope it, and the undercards, are good ones.

Machida is favored but I see Evans knocking him out!! lights out! also I hope Matt Serra puts that nail in the coffin. I never liked Matt Huges.

GOOD fight. Who knew Machida could end a fight like that? Rashad's strictly a counterpuncher; a great one (he knocked the Iceman out cold with a counterpunch), but he didn't initiate an effective first strike that entire match. Whereas that's Machida's strength.
