Favorite Cloning Solution?

I use green light rooting hormone powder. Works fine.
I have also just used nothing...snip and right into a rockwool cube/jiffy puck.
Personally I think cloning success has to do mostly with other factors besides the rooting hormone.
-Mainly the moisture content of your cloning substrate...you get faster rooting if it is not waterlogged. Squeeze your puck/cube until it is about 3/4 "squeezed", just a little damper than a wrung out washcloth...this is one of the key skills to cloning mastery IMHO.
-Temp 75-80F. A nice seedling heating mat will increase success and speed up rooting...too hot and you will grow bacteria and molds.
- A humidity dome. I use a very simple setup for my clones 1 "kegger" cup, with 1 clear "plastic party cup" on the top with a little hole drilled for some air exchange:
-A clean enviroment - Simple. Just clean up the area you are going to be working in and dont have dirty/moldy dishes and stuff laying around. if you live somewhere there is high humidity chances are there are alot more spores/ nasties in the air and it helps to get a hepa filter to clean the air of these contaminants because your cloning chamber is quite hospitable to them as well as your clones.
- rooting hormone. Is redundant, the plant makes it's own rooting hormones. You can get a clone "pre loaded" with natural rooting hormones by taking your cutting from down twards the bottom of the plant.
I have seen some bad reports about "gel" rooting hormone - but I have never used it so consider that hearsay..

i have more success not useing any..just cut and put into peat pellets, 10/14 days later roots..

I've had near 100% success rate with Schultz TakeRoot....
when i have it clonex other wise just plain PH'd water and no root hormone for the bubbler
for the last 4 months ive had no clonex i have shultz powder but prefer not usen it.
if you choose a clone hormoan gel is much better then powder gel sticks to the cut after being in water and helps prevent cut from drying out if water level drops below cuts level.

K-L-N liquid put out by Dyna-Gro. Mix 2ml/1 pint of water. Let the cutting soak in it for 15 minutes and place into medium. Have never lost a clone using it and never had one look wilty/droopy either. Good stuff.

i use both rootech powder and also just tap water for my bubble cloner. I clone in fox farm light warrior with the powder and put them on the heat mat. both methods work well for me, but i perfer my bubble cloner, easier-just stick em in and refil as needed.

i use this schultz stuff along with jiffy7 pucks from walmart. i dont cut on angle,or cut under water or soak in this or that or put a split up the middle. just clip,dip and stick into puck. i also dont ring out any of the water from the puck..when its done soaking up the water i let xtra water drip for a few mins then stick my clone in.. i get 100% in 8 days!
Perlite and RO water, no dome.

Plain water on the windowsill. Add a heatmat and your looking at roots in 12-21 days.
