Most euphoric/laughing high?

Bubble Hash made from DJ Short Blue Berry was the most euphoric thing I've smoked in recent times. I was fly'n high, and I do mean HIGH!

Prior to that was old school home grown from Alabama in the mid 70's. Thai/Acapulco Gold/Colombian Gold cross. Purple, no ceiling and blissful, dreamy euphoria.

I really wanted to like Apollo 11 but it made me too paranoid around people.

Kali Mist and Malawi Gold get me laughing and my girl dancing...

in my personal opinion the best euphoric high comes from (in order)

Bubblegum (indica/hybrid)
D.J. Shorts Blueberry(hybrid)
Fruit Juicy (Sativa)
White Rhino (Hybrid)

for being an Indica Blueberry (only smoked a handfull of times) gave me a clear headed euphoric high with an Indica body buzz which was nice. but nothing compares to bubblegum in my opinion (also smoked a handful of times), everytime i smoked it it just put me on top of the world, never had a weed with such strong euphoric effects. also, Fruit Juicy put me in a very euphoric mood and a very noticeably strong creativity high. probably the most creative high ive had from a sat. i got a bag of it a year ago from a friend, seeds are on Boo but dont remember the breeder (its related to Juicy Fruit strain).

Edit: i did an ICMag search on Fruit Juicy and it came up dry. i remember seeing it on Boo a few weeks ago because it reminded me of the bag i had of it a year ago. if anyone has info i'd be interested, maybe im spelling it wrong.

I am into the same kind of high that the OP is talking about and I have two different strains that solidly have this effect:

Blue Hawaiian - (BlueberryXHawiian Sativa from Federation). This one comes on the strongest with a couple minutes of that blastoff feeling that mellows into a more chill euphoria that fades in 45mins or so - leaving me with a couchy stone. I find that it isn't so much goofy grin laughing till you piss your pants though.

Kali Mist - The "bell ringer." Two bong rips and I have the goofy ass grin high. The euphoria is less pronounced than the BH, but it lasts much longer and doesn't leave me couchy at all. I've got two phenos, but I mixed up the buds accidentally while curing so, I'll have to wait until next round to see if I can tell a difference. The Kali euphoria is definitely mixed with a strong tinge of "the fear." If I take one toke too many (or maybe it is one pheno that has the effect), the fear is strong. I'm good at blowing off the fear effect, but not so much the going in circles confused part.

Interesting to note that my other strain, powerplant, is very up, but not paranoid - I find that it has a minimal euphoric effect and doesn't make me giggly at all. Really nice high, but different.

I also had this kind of high with the Federation Hawaiian sativa alone. I was annoyed of this so I'm currently trying to sort out this tiring effect by crossing it with a Colombian gold x Jamaican Blue Mountain male.

See the pics here :) http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=163608

Thanks for that - confirms that The Big Book of Buds could be off when it says that Hawaiian Sativa's high is "Alert and Cerebral." I had hoped that it would give more of a sativa effect to blueberry.

Can anyone chime in specifically on DJ's more sativa strains like Flo or F13? I was thinking that either one sounds like a good thing to cross my Kali Mist with.

that sounds like a wonderful cross... and along those same lines my favorite giggly weed is Golden Goat (made by Mrdank on here that is comprised of Federation strains, Golden Goat = freak Island Sweet Skunk x Hawaiian/Romulan), followed closely by MANGO HAZE yeaaaaaaaaa

euphoric cannabis

euphoric cannabis

i have also found the most really euphoric giggly cannabis to to come without a name, mostly it's outdoor. from guys who make new seeds every year for the next, it mostly doesn't look special either, bad trim and maybe even pressed, lol.

but i do remember one particularly euphoric indoor cannabis, that was MoD's Mist of Destruction. i have seldom had the urge to roll around on the floor laughing as much as with that stuff. even hours later in the hotel elevator with my mate, i fell to my knees laughing so hard about some silly thing or another, was awesome. that was some amazing hitting stuff.

Recently for me it has been Grape Ape, but it is mostly Indica so a little body heavy. I keep hearing about Satori, got to try that next!

I heard some funny story's about that guy but wont go there i wouldn't call Federation Hawaiian sativa a true Hawaiian sativa its flowering time alone should tell you that and if you had ever grown any of the old school Hawaiian sativas you know what im talking about they affect of sativas can have a stone to there high to and trust me when i say the old Hawaiian sativas were some of the very best.

Hawaiian Sativa's high is "Alert and Cerebral.

Some may of been but lots were potent and devastating and out right damaging on your senses best example i can give that comes close is a good haze high.

Much respect for you, I have read a lot of you in different forums over the years and agree with you most of the time, especially when speaking about thai and haze strains.

This Hawaiian is said to be acclimatized in the Vancouver Island. Breeder of Next Generation Seeds said it had been outcrossed even if Federation swear it was only inbred. Who knows? They were concurrent at this time so I do not know who to believe...

I have grown it and seen grown it many times and here is what I can say:
- it grows very sativa indoor but with medium stretch
- two slightly different phenos are here, allways citrusy-spicy aroma, but more or less dense smell and resin production. High remain the same in both.
- it grows freaky sativa when outdoor and needs a lot of sun, totally different shape than when grown indoor
- the high is quite potent
- some experienced growers from the US rated it as "one of the best hawaiian-originated strain they have experimented"

That said, I have grown many pure sativas such as lowland and highland Thai, South indian, Sri Lanka or old school Jamaican pure sativas, and this Hawaiian sativa from Federation is clearly NOT this kind of old school strains in the grow department, far too easy to grow as well as in the high "purity" department.

I would say that whether it has been crossed or not, it has been well worked for comfort, but it has lost some magic , as usual with this kind of work. :artist:

It still remains a great strain imho. :tiphat:

Much appreciation for the info on Hawaiian Sativa. I am also curious how well she yields. My Blue Hawaiian is decent for yield, but not spectacular at all. I ran higher temps the first go and she made some awesome foxtail buds that were much more dense than a sativa when it foxtails. This run was kept under 72 and no foxtails, but I think she's going to yield less than when I ran higher temps. I think it could actually be the resulting lower humidity and not them temps so much.
I ask if the Hawaiian Sativa yields well because I would suspect that the blueberry in the mix might be the reason she doesn't yield so well.

So back on to the topic of euphoria, I did a little "experimenting" last night with my best cured Blue Hawaiian. I think that there are two "types" of euphoria: one is the immediate "headrush" like feeling when you open the carb and snap up a fat hit. The second "type" is that ongoing "levitating/lift off" feeling. The two tend to come together in one strain, but I have smoked stuff (street weed) that caused one and not the other.

So I spent some bong hits really trying to max out that first "headrush" feeling. The hits that really had this feeling were accompanied by a wooshing sound in my ears. I took one last little half a bowl hit after an hour break and the wooshing turned to a ringing and as I'm feeling that liftoff I found myself in this long uncontrollable fall. The wife said it looked like I had a seizure with my arms flopping around while I fell. I'm not really the "get as fucked up as you can" type, so this was a bit extreme for me.

So this experience has me thinking that the headrush effect is related to a drop of oxygen or blood flow in the brain. My guess is that the longer term euphoric effect is somehow related.

I always love the laughin stuff BUT what I find funny is that it can feel that way depending on those around me. If I am in a good mood and in good company that giggly happiness comes out and other times smoking the same stuff and I can just chill without gigglin like a schoogirl.

I really think it a a bit of the strain + the company you are with or at least I feel that is how it is sometimes.

RE: Hawaiian Sativas
I have one from the island of Kauai that I'd be loathe to part with. Old fashioned sativa all the way with huge internodal stretch, super light fluffy bud structure, and vigor like a mofo even after 30 years off the island. But she's not native. No cannabis is native to any of the Hawaiian islands, so saying something isn't a sativa from the islands is silly. Anything could have been brought there and then brought back, regardless of its indica/sativa nature. Could have happened 40 years ago, could have been last week, but the closer one gets to the present day the more likely there's gonna be an indica influence. Doesn't make it less of a Hawaiian Sativa, just with a modern indica twist.
